Did LeBron James’ wife hint he will play several more seasons in the NBA?

In a new “Beats by Dre” commercial, there may be a hint that LeBron James will not retire for a little while.

Tuesday will mark the official start of LeBron James’ 21st NBA season. He looks to be healthy and energized right now, and he recently said he is still motivated to be great and win another world championship.

It is anyone’s best guess how much longer he will play, let alone how much longer he will be able to play at a high level. He has become injury-prone since joining the Los Angeles Lakers five years ago, and at any time, he could suffer a major injury that would rob him of his explosiveness or even jeopardize the rest of his career.

James has said many times he wants to play with his son Bronny, who is beginning his freshman year at the University of Southern California and is considered a legitimate NBA draft prospect. The earliest the younger James will be eligible for the draft is 2024, but that doesn’t mean he will necessarily declare for the draft that soon.

The elder James also has a son named Bryce, who is 16 years of age and may have even more potential than Bronny James.

In a new commercial for “Beats by Dre,” Savannah James, LeBron James’ wife, may have hinted at his desire to not just play in the NBA with Bronny James but also Bryce James (h/t Lakers Daily).

Bryce James recently transferred from Sierra Canyon School, where Bronny James played his high school ball, to Notre Dame High School. He will reportedly be eligible for the NBA draft in 2026.

LeBron James’ current contract with the Lakers expires at the end of next season. However, he could opt out of that contract this summer and become a free agent.

PHOTOS: LeBron and Savannah James through the years

LeBron James and Savannah James are a force to be reckoned with as a power couple. Their story began in high school in Akron, Ohio, where they fell in love and have been inseparable ever since. In 2013, they got married and now have three beautiful children together, Bronny, Bryce, and Zhuri.

Savannah has been heavily involved in her husband’s philanthropic endeavors. LeBron has always spoken highly of her support, highlighting the crucial role she plays in his life and career.

Check out some of their best pics together through the years below:

LeBron James’ daughter Zhuri hilariously ‘stopped’ her mom Savannah from swearing at the ESPYs

This was a really great bit from the James family at this year’s ESPYs.

During Wednesday night’s presentation of the ESPYs, LeBron James saw his family get in one of the best jokes of the night.

As Savannah James and her three children joined the stage to honor the Los Angeles Lakers star for breaking the NBA’s all-time scoring record, the matriarch of the James household decided to give her husband a very fitting, nearly NSFW tribute on-stage.

In what is clearly a planned bit, Savannah James began to say a compliment about LeBron James that would’ve hilariously ended in a swear word. Right before she said it, her daughter Zhuri stopped her to the crowd’s amusement.

LeBron himself got a kick out of the moment, which is surely one that will be talked about around the James’ family dinner table for some time. Zhuri James’ reaction was absolutely priceless, even if the moment was undoubtedly staged.

We’ve all wanted to stop our parents from embarrassing us in public from time to time, and this really funny bit from the James family shows that even the youngest in your family know when to throw up the caution flags.

LeBron James’ wife and mother had the best reactions to this wild dunk on his 38th birthday

Savannah James and Gloria James had the best seats in the house.

Stop me if you’ve heard this one before, folks, but LeBron James still has it.

The four-time NBA Finals MVP turned 38 years old on Friday. He led he Lakers to a victory, 130-121, over the Hawks. It was his best game of the season and he finished with 47 points, 10 rebounds, 9 assists, and 1 block.

Arguably most impressive, given his age, is that James had three dunks as well. They were all pretty awesome to watch, but one late in the third quarter was especially memorable.

It caught the attention of his wife, Savannah, and his mother, Gloria (who wrote a heartfelt tribute to her son on Instagram earlier in the day). They were sitting together courtside and were equally impressed:

Savannah James and Gloria James have both watched LeBron play at the highest levels for an astonishingly long time, yet he continues to find new ways to impress them.

Considering how well LeBron played during this game, though, some fans theorized the Lakers would play much better if his wife and mother attended every game.

LeBron James shares surprise Valentine in luggage from daughter Zhuri

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James shared a sweet surprise from his daughter Zhuri on Valentine’s Day.

It’s a frigid one in most parts of the country this Valentine’s Day and for LeBron James, whose Lakers are embarking on a two-game road trip starting on Sunday evening against the Denver Nuggets, it’s Valentine’s Day away from the closest to him. But his daughter Zhuri was thoughtful enough to surprise her Dad with a loving message while he is away from the family during the holiday meant to celebrate love.

LeBron shared that Zhuri surprised him by sneaking a special Valentine’s Day card in his luggage, which he posted on Instagram just before he went to the arena in Denver to face off against Nikola Jokic and the Nugs.

The heartwarming gesture from Zhuri was definitely one we loved to see on Valentine’s Day. James and the Lakers are riding a seven-game win-streak heading into Sunday night’s game with the Nuggets, which will be aired nationally on ESPN. Sunday could also be another opporutnity for LeBron James to separate himself in the MVP debate in a showdown against fellow MVP contender Nikola Jokic.

The best posts dedicated to LeBron James on his 36th birthday

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James turned 36 on Wednesday and there were plenty of thoughtful messages sent his way.

Wednesday is LeBron James’ 36th birthday, and he will, as he has done for most of his life, be playing on his birthday later this evening when his Los Angeles Lakers visit the San Antonio Spurs to start their first road trip of the season.

With James away from the family and on the road with the squad, today was the perfect opportunity for those in James’ life and those who are fans to pay respects to someone who has been in their lives for such a long time.

First, we go to LeBron’s wife, Savannah James, who shared a photo of LeBron from the bubble during the Lakers championship run.

Savannah James shares adorable video of LeBron and Zhuri jumping rope

LeBron James is getting ready for the next season but he’s also spending some quality time with the family during the holidays.

The holiday season is very different this year for many and that includes LeBron James and the James family. For the first time in his 17-year NBA career, James was celebrating Thanksgiving while also trying to get ready for the upcoming NBA season, as training camps start around the league this coming week. So even while he’s enjoying the downtime of the holiday, he’s still putting in some kind of physical work and his daughter Zhrui joined in for some jump rope.

LeBron’s wife Savannah shared the video of some quality father-daughter time in front of one of their Christmas trees inside the James family home.

James was even managing to do the jump rope while wearing some house slippers, so while he is getting ready for the season, he’s still enjoying the leisure time while he still can. The NBA announced on Friday that the preseason will start on Dec. 11, including a Lakers-Clippers game.

LeBron James spends first full day back home with daughter Zhuri

LeBron James enjoyed some quality father-daughter time with his daughter Zhuri on Tuesday.

After over three months inside the Disney World bubble, where he won his 4th NBA Championship, LeBron James is finally back home with his family. And in his first full day back at the James family home, he spent much of his time, at least time he shared on social media, with his daughter Zhuri while she had breaks between classes.

James was excited to be home and was very excited to show off Zhuri’s playhouse in the backyard of the James house, which honestly looks like a tiny home created on something like “Tiny House Nation.” LeBron gave us a tour of his daughter Zhuri’s little house, which also involved LeBron getting the floor a little dirty.

In addition to going to school virtually like most kids in the country right now, Zhuri has also been busy as the host of the Harlem Fashion Row show.

LeBron James buys new Beverly Hills estate for $36 million per report

LeBron James and his family appear to be moving on from Brentwood and into Beverly Hills, per a new report from TMZ.

The James Estate has a nice ring to it. Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James hasn’t been home in L.A. for over three months now since leaving with his team for the NBA Bubble at Disney World. However, whenever he does get home, “home,” will mean something different and probably something a little bit better.

TMZ reported on Wednesday, just a few hours before the NBA Finals, that James has officially closed on a new home in Beverly Hills that was previously owned by the creator of the soap opera “The Young and The Restless,” Lee Phillip Bell, for a price of $36 million. The Real Deal, which reports on L.A. Real Estate, reported that the previously listed price on the home was $39 million when initially reporting his interest on the Beverly Hills estate. It’s pretty fitting that the star of the “Real Lakers of Los Angeles” is taking over the home of a soap opera legend.

James has been busy leading the Los Angeles Lakers to the NBA Finals over the past few months, but whenever he does return to L.A., he will have an upgrade with his new digs.

LeBron and Savannah James celebrate 6th wedding anniversary in the bubble

LeBron James and his wife Savannah celebrated their 6th anniversary inside the NBA Bubble on Monday.

The extended rest may not have been the only reason that LeBron James came out motivated on Saturday night to close out the Houston Rockets and their second-round series. It likely added a little motivation that Monday was his 6th wedding anniversary and he wanted to spend the day celebrating with his wife Savannah and not expending energy trying to close out the Rockets.

James shared on Monday that it was the anniversary of his marriage to Savannah James and proceeded to share a collection of photos of his wife from over the years. James, however, did not share any photos from their celebration inside the bubble. Luckily Savannah took care of that, showing us a Disney dessert for her “Disneyversary.”

Even the cookies are Disney-themed inside the NBA Bubble and congrats to both LeBron and Savannah for being able to celebrate their anniversary together without having to work around an NBA Playoff game in this strangest of postseasons.
