The Chicago Cubs (3-2) welcome the Colorado Rockies (1-5) to Wrigley Field Wednesday in the final game of their 3-game series. First pitch is scheduled for 7:40 p.m. ET. Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Rockies vs. Cubs odds and make our expert MLB picks and predictions for the best bets.

Season series: Cubs lead 2-0

The Rockies have lost 3 games in a row after falling 12-2 against the Cubs Tuesday. After going down 10-0 in the 6th inning, it was a 1B Michael Toglia 2-run home run that gave Colorado its only 2 runs of the game. The 12 runs is the 2nd-most it has given up this season.

The Cubs have won 3 games in a row after taking back-to-back games from Colorado. Their bats were hot with the team accumulating 14 hits and 4 home runs. Five separate players scored at least 2 runs in the win.

Rockies at Cubs projected starters

RHP Cal Quantrill vs. LHP Luke Little

Quantrill (0-1, 9.00 ERA) makes his 2nd start. He allowed 5 ER on 9 H and 1 BB with 1 K in 5 IP in his debut at the Arizona Diamondbacks Friday.

  • 2023 road stats: 3-2, 4.95 ERA (60 IP, 33 ER) in 11 starts
  • Career vs. Cubs: 1-2, 8.22 ERA (15 1/3 IP, 14 ER) in 2 starts and 3 relief appearances

  • Career home stats: 0-0, 0.00 ERA (3 1/3 IP) in 4 relief appearances

Rockies at Cubs picks and predictions

Prediction

Cubs 6, Rockies 3

Moneyline

PASS.

There is no value on a Cubs (-200) team that has beaten the Rockies by a combined 17-2 in the previous 2 games.

Run line/Against the spread

BET CUBS -1.5 (+105).

After starting the season 0-2, Chicago has won 3 games in a row, each by at least 4 runs. It has scored 26 runs over its past 3 games and has given up just 7. Against a Rockies team that has lost 5 of its 6 games to open the season, all by 4 or more runs, the Cubs at plus money is the best wager.

Over/Under

BET OVER 7 (+100).

The Rockies have hit the Over in 4 of their 6 games so far while allowing 5 or more runs in 5 of the 6 games. They have allowed 12 or more runs twice already and have scored 2 or more in 3 games.

The Cubs have hit the Over in 3 of their 5 games this season and have scored a total of 26 runs in their last 3 games They have scored at least 3 runs in 4 of their 5 games and have already scored 17 runs in the 1st 2 games of the series against Colorado.

Colorado Rockies at Chicago Cubs odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Monday’s Colorado Rockies at Chicago Cubs odds and lines, with MLB expert picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The Colorado Rockies (1-3) and Chicago Cubs (1-2) meet Monday for the 1st game of a 3-game series. First pitch from Wrigley Field is set for 2:20 p.m. ET. Let’s analyze FanDuel Sportsbook’s lines around the Rockies vs. Cubs odds and make our expert MLB picks and predictions for the best bets.

Season series: First meeting; Chicago won 4-2 last season

Colorado was routed 5-1 by the Arizona Diamondbacks Sunday while failing to cash as a +173 road underdog. The Rockies never led in Sunday’s loss as they allowed the D-Backs to jump out to a 3-0 start by the end of the 1st. RHP Ryan Feltner pitched 5 innings and allowed 3 ER and 5 H while accumulating 4 strikeouts.

Chicago picked up a 9-5 win over the Texas Rangers Sunday as a +115 road underdog, but it lost the series 2-1. Sunday’s game was tied at 5 entering the top of the 9th, but the Cubs went on to score 4 runs during that inning to come away with the win.

Rockies at Cubs projected starters

RHP Dakota Hudson vs. LHP Shota Imanaga

Hudson (6-3, 4.98 ERA in 2023) made 12 starts and 6 relief appearances as member of the St. Louis Cardinals last season. He had a 1.50 WHIP, 3.8 BB/9 and 4.9 K/9 in 81 1/3 innings.

  • 2023 road splits: 2-3, 6.57 ERA (37 IP, 27 ER), 29 H, 21 BB and 17 K across 6 starts and 3 relief appearances
  • 2023 vs. Chicago: 0-0, 7.11 ERA (6 1/3 IP, 5 ER), 10 H, 4 BB, 5 K in 2 relief outings
  • Career vs. Cubs: 3-0, 3.72 ERA (36 1/3 IP, 15 ER), 33 H, 34 K through 5 starts and 5 relief appearances

Imanaga makes his Major League debut Monday. The 30-year-old was signed by Chicago Jan. 11 and previously played for the Yokohama DeNA BayStars in Japan.

  • Pitched 2 1/3 innings and struck out 5 batters in his spring training debut Mar. 2 vs. the Los Angeles Dodgers

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3012″ ]

Rockies at Cubs picks and predictions

Prediction

Cubs 6, Rockies 4

Moneyline

PASS.

I like the Cubs (-198) to come away with the win, but they are not worth the risk of betting on as such heavy favorites. Bet on the run line and/or O/U instead.

Run line/Against the spread

BET CUBS -1.5 (+115).

The Cubs have covered the run line in each of their last 3 matchups vs. Colorado and in 4 of the last 6 meetings with the Rockies in Chicago. The Cubs also covered the run line in their last outing overall.

Be aware that neither team has been good at covering to start the season, so this bet does have some risk attached.

Over/Under

LEAN OVER 6.5 (-122).

The Over has hit in 3 of Colorado’s 1st 4 games and is 7-3 in the Rockies’ last 10 dating back to the 2023 season.

For Chicago, the Over has hit in back-to-back games.

This a lean because the Under has been a dominant 9-1 in the last 10 Colorado-Chicago matchups.

Colorado Rockies at Chicago Cubs odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Sunday’s Colorado Rockies at Chicago Cubs odds and lines, with MLB expert picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The Colorado Rockies (56-98) and the Chicago Cubs (81-74) play the finale of a 3-game series Sunday at Wrigley Field in Chicago. First pitch is scheduled for 2:20 p.m. ET. Let’s analyze FanDuel Sportsbook’s lines around the Rockies vs. Cubs odds and make our expert MLB picks and predictions for the best bets.

Season series: Cubs lead 3-2

The Rockies are in freefall, dropping their 6th consecutive game on Saturday. Colorado has been outscored 12-3 in the 1st 2 games of the season. Things started out well enough Saturday, as Colorado took a 3-1 lead in the top of the 2nd, and after runs in the 5th and 6th from the Cubs, the game was still tied. However, the bullpen allowed 3 more runs in the 7th and 8th innings.

The Cubs remain just a half-game back of the Arizona Diamondbacks for the 2nd NL Wild Card, while sitting a game clear of the Miami Marlins, and 2 1/2 games up on the Cincinnati Reds, with the San Francisco Giants and San Diego Padres also giving chase.

Rockies at Cubs projected starters

LHP Ty Blach vs. LHP Jordan Wicks

Blach (3-2, 5.32 ERA) makes his 12th start and 19th overall appearance. He has a 1.63 WHIP, 2.5 BB/9 and 5.5 K/9 in 67 2/3 innings.

  • Last start: Loss, 3 2/3 IP, 7 ER, 9 H, 2 BB, 3 K in 11-9 road loss vs. the San Diego Padres last Monday
  • 2023 road splits: 0-2, 5.79 ERA (37 1/3 IP, 24 ER), 10 HR, .306 OBA in 7 starts and 2 relief appearances

Wicks (3-1, 2.67 ERA) makes his 6th start. He has a 1.19 WHIP, 3.0 BB/9 and 6.7 K/9 in 27 innings.

  • Last start: Loss, 4 1/3 IP, 3 ER, 4 H, 4 BB, 5 K in 6-2 road loss vs. the Arizona Diamondbacks last Sunday
  • 2023 home splits: 1-0, 2.70 ERA (6 1/3 IP, 2 ER), 0 HR, .346 OBA in 1 career start

Rockies at Cubs picks and predictions

Prediction

Cubs 5, Rockies 3

Moneyline

After a cold streak, the Cubs (-250) are doing a good job taking care of business against an inferior opponent in this series, staying right in the mix for a NL postseason spot.

The Rockies (+205), unlike some other non-contenders, seem simply interested in playing out the string, while having long since thrown in the towel. Still, you can’t risk 2 1/2 times your potential return, even as part of a multi-team parlay.

PASS, and look to the run line instead.

Run line/Against the spread

The CUBS -1.5 (-126) have covered the run line in each of the 1st 2 games in this series. While Chicago struggled for the previous 2 weeks prior to this series, it appears the Cubs can be trusted once again to get the job done when favored.

Over/Under

The UNDER 8.5 (+100) is worth a look at even-money. While the Cubs have notched 6 runs in each of the 1st 2 games of the series, and 6 or more runs in each of the past 5 outings, the Rockies have plated a total of just 5 runs in the past 4 outings.

Colorado should be able to get the bats going against the rookie southpaw Wicks, but it remains to be seen if that will be the case. The lean is to the Under in Rockies games, especially on the road. The Under is 8-4 in the past 12 games overall for Colorado, while going 3-1 in the past 4 road outings.

Colorado Rockies at Chicago Cubs odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Saturday’s Colorado Rockies at Chicago Cubs odds and lines, with MLB expert picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The Colorado Rockies (56-97) and the Chicago Cubs (80-74) play the 2nd contest of a 3-game series at Wrigley Field in Chicago. First pitch is scheduled for 2:20 p.m. ET. Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Rockies vs. Cubs odds and make our expert MLB picks and predictions for the best bets.

Season series: tied 2-2

The Rockies have dropped 5 straight games, including Friday’s 6-0 shutout loss in the series opener. In fact, Colorado has posted just 2 total runs, getting shutout twice, in the past 3 games overall. The Under cashed Friday and has hit in 3 in a row for the Rox and 4 straight meetings this season with the Cubbies.

Chicago dropped the final 2 games of the previous series against Pittsburgh but came alive in the series opener for 2 homers, 7 hits and 3 stolen bases to pick up the 6-0 win. With the much-needed win, the Cubs remain locked into the final Wild Card spot in the National League, a game clear of the Miami Marlins and 1½ games up on the Cincinnati Reds with 8 games remaining.

Rockies at Cubs projected starters

RHP Chris Flexen vs. RHP Marcus Stroman

Flexen (1-8, 7.19 ERA) makes his 15th start and 28th overall appearance. He has a 1.71 WHIP, 3.4 BB/9 and 6.9 K/9 in 91 1/3 innings.

  • Last start: Loss, 5 1/3 IP, 4 ER, 5 H, 0 BB, 5 K in 11-10 home loss vs. the San Francisco Giants last Sunday
  • 2023 road splits: 1-3, 9.45 ERA (33 1/3 IP, 35 ER), 11 HR, .377 OBA in 5 starts and 7 relief appearances

Stroman (10-8, 3.76 ERA) makes his 24th start and 26th overall appearance. He has a 1.23 WHIP, 3.5 BB/9 and 7.9 K/9 in 131 2/3 innings.

  • Last start: Loss, 3 IP, 6 ER, 6 H, 2 BB, 2 K in 6-5 home loss vs. the Reds July 31
  • 2023 home splits: 6-6, 3.71 ERA (70 1/3 IP, 29 ER), 5 HR, .196 OBA in 12 starts

Rockies at Cubs picks and predictions

Prediction

Cubs 6, Rockies 2

Moneyline

The Cubs (-250) will cost you 2½ times your potential return. Chicago needs this win badly, and it will get it against the ineffective Flexen. However, there is just too much risk for not enough reward.

AVOID, and look to the run line instead.

Run line/Against the spread

The CUBS -1.5 (-125) are a much better play laying the run and a half.

Chicago is in the thick of a playoff push, while Colorado is well out of it. The Cubs covered as favorites on the run line Friday, although they are still just 2-7 in the past 9 games in such situations. Still, they should be able to pile up the offense against Flexen, who has allowed north of 7 runs per every 9 innings.

Over/Under

The UNDER 8.5 (-110) is worth a look, but go lightly.

The wind will be blowing in from left field to 1st base, knocking down any potential home run balls. Still, Chicago should be able to piece together plenty of hits and offense against the very giving Flexen.

Colorado Rockies at Chicago Cubs odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Friday’s Colorado Rockies at Chicago Cubs odds and lines, with MLB expert picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The Colorado Rockies (56-96) open a 3-game weekend series against the Chicago Cubs (79-74) Friday. First pitch from Wrigley Field is at 2:20 p.m. ET (MLB Network). Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Rockies vs. Cubs odds and make our expert MLB picks and predictions for the best bets.

Season series: Rockies lead 2-1

Colorado has lost 4 games in a row overall and 7 straight on the road, dropping their road record to 22-56, which is 2nd worst in the majors. The Rockies also have the worst record in the National League and have been long eliminated from postseason contention.

The Cubs are in the thick of a tight NL Wild Card race but haven’t helped themselves lately with 7 losses in their last 8 games. The stumble has slipped them to the final NL Wild Card spot, just a 1/2 game ahead of the Cincinnati Reds.

Rockies at Cubs projected starters

RHP Noah Davis vs. RHP Jameson Taillon

Davis (0-2, 9.58 ERA) makes his 5th start and 7th appearance. He has a 2.03 WHIP, 4.4 BB/9 and 7.8 K/9 through 20 2/3 IP.

  • Last appearance: 2 IP, 0 ER, 0 H, 0 BB, 2 K in relief in 11-10 home loss vs. San Francisco Giants Sunday
  • Last start: 4 IP, 5 ER, 5 H, 4 BB, 2 K in 8-6 road loss vs. Reds on June 20
  • 2023 road stats: 0-1, 3.95 ERA (13 2/3 IP, 6 ER) with 12/7 K/BB in 3 starts
  • Recorded a 4.50 ERA with 45/35 K/BB (plus 12 HBP) across 14 starts in a tough pitching environment at Triple-A this season

Taillon (7-10, 5.27 ERA) makes his 28th start. He has a 1.31 WHIP, 2.3 BB/9 and 8.3 K/9 through 138 1/3 IP.

  • Last start: Loss, 5 IP, 5 R (3 ER), 7 H, 1 BB, 5 K in 7-3 road loss vs. Rockies on Sept. 13
  • 2023 home stats: 3-6, 5.00 ERA (72 IP, 40 ER) with 8.9 K/9 in 14 starts
  • Career vs. Rockies: 2-1, 2.37 ERA (19 IP, 5 ER) with 6.2 K/9 in 3 starts — just over a week ago on Sept. 18 and the others in 2017 and 2018

Rockies at Cubs picks and predictions

Prediction

Cubs 7, Rockies 4

Moneyline

The Cub offense should have their way with Davis, who brings some very soft skills to the table. However, they are in a bit of a tailspin lately, so laying greater than 2:1 odds is a little risky. PASS on the moneyline and let’s find some value with the spread or total.

Run line/Against the spread

Taillon has been up and down lately, and throughout most of the season, but he gets a good matchup against a Colorado team that ranks last in wRC+ vs right-handed pitching.

The Cubs have been cold but while they just dropped 2 of 3 games against Pittsburgh, they scored 27 runs in the series, and they are facing a pitcher in Davis who should give them plenty of chances to pile on more runs. The Rockies have lost every game that Davis has pitched in, and that trend should continue so lock in CUBS -1.5 (-115).

Over/Under

Taillon has surrendered 7 HR across his last 4 starts and at least 1 HR in 8 of his last 9 outings. He can’t be counted on to completely shut down Colorado, and the Cub bats are set up for a good day against Davis, who has shown no signs of being a viable big-league starter. Both teams should do their part in pushing this total OVER 9 (-110).

Colorado Rockies at Chicago Cubs odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Sunday’s Colorado Rockies at Chicago Cubs odds and lines, with MLB expert picks and predictions.

The Colorado Rockies (63-82) finish a 3-game set with the Chicago Cubs (62-83) Sunday at Wrigley Field. First pitch is set for 2:20 p.m. ET. Let’s analyze Tipico Sportsbook‘s lines around the Rockies vs. Cubs odds with MLB picks and predictions.

Season series: Tied 3-3

The Rockies are 2-2 on this Windy City road trip as they split the 2-game series with the Chicago White Sox and have done the same through the first 2 games of this series with the Cubs. The Rockies are 6-4 over the last 10 games but remain a bad road team with a 23-48 mark.

Saturday’s loss snapped a 4-game winning streak for the Cubbies. The two teams have combined for just 7 total runs in this series. Chicago is 5-5 and 14-16 over the last 10 and 30 games, respectively. Rain is in the forecast — so keep an eye on that up to first pitch.

Rockies at Cubs projected starters

RHP Ryan Feltner vs. RHP Javier Assad

Feltner (2-8, 6.12 ERA) makes his 16th start and 17th appearance. He has a 1.45 WHIP, 3.4 BB/9 and 8.2 K/9 in 75 IP.

  • Has given up at least 2 ER in all but 3 starts
  • A little less miserable on the road: 5.97 ERA, 1.51 WHIP and 8.6 K/9 vs. 6.27 ERA, 1.39 WHIP and 7.7 K/9 at Coors Field

Assad (1-1, 2.53 ERA) makes his 6th appearance and 5th start. He has a 1.41 WHIP, 4.2 BB/9 and 7.6 K/9 in 21 1/3 IP.

  • Had just 1 bad start with 4 ER against Reds; allowed 1 ER in 15 IP in his 3 other starts
  • Doesn’t throw hard; uses a 93-mph fastball, a cutter, changeup, slider and curveball to keep hitters off balance

Rockies at Cubs picks and predictions

Prediction

Cubs 7, Rockies 5

Money line

We’ve had a couple of snoozefests in the first 2 games of this series, and I think the doors are going to be blasted off today. Feltner has been awful, and the wind is blowing out to right-center field at 10 mph.

I’m picking the Cubs to pull this one out, but I actually like their run totals more. Toss a FULL UNIT at the CUBS OVER 4.5 TOTAL RUNS (-130) and a HALF-UNIT at CUBS OVER 5.5 TOTAL RUNS (+125).

Run line/Against the spread

With the rain coming, I don’t want to mess with the RL. Instead, we’ll continue fading Feltner, who has given up at least 3 ER in 7 of his last 8 starts. Take the CUBS OVER 2.5 TOTAL RUNS FIRST 5 INNINGS (-113). I might even throw TWO UNITS at it.

Over/Under

As mentioned, the wind is blowing out pretty steadily. The Rockies’ pitcher has a 6 ERA. Both teams scored just 7 runs in the two previous games. There’s not much to think about here. Take the OVER 9.5 (-120).

Prediction

Cubs 5, Rockies 3

Money line (ML)

The Rockies’ 14 road wins are the fewest in the majors and they have dropped seven of their last eight games on the road. They are 2-2 against the Cubs this season.

The Cubs’ win Monday ended a 13-game losing skid at home. They are 3-15 in their last 18 games. They have lost nine of Davies’ last 10 starts.

This is a tough call but even considering the Cubs’ slump and their performance with Davies on the mound, but the Rockies’ year-long struggles on the road leave Chicago as the play.

Take the CUBS (+125).

Run line/Against the spread (ATS)

The Rockies have the third-lowest road cover percentage in the league at 41.7%. They have failed to cover five of their last seven road games.

The Cubs are 4-13 ATS in their last 17 games but 3-3 ATS in their last six. They are 27-36 ATS at Wrigley Field.

Since I expect them to win outright as the underdog taking the CUBS +1.5 (-155) is the right ATS play – although you get the better value from the money line.

Over/Under (O/U)

Just over half the games at Wrigley Field (50.8%) have gone Over the projected total.

Each of the Rockies’ last eight games has had 7 or more runs, although this game will be different as it will only be 7 innings. They have had four doubleheaders this season and all four openers have had totals of 7 or more runs.

Four of the last five games for the Cubs have had 7 or more runs. The Cubs had two doubleheaders this season and one of the two opening games finished with a total of more than 6 runs.

Take OVER 6.5 (-122).

Colorado Rockies at Chicago Cubs odds, picks and prediction

Analyzing Tuesday’s Colorado Rockies at Chicago Cubs odds and lines, with MLB picks and predictions.

The Colorado Rockies (57-68) face the Chicago Cubs (55-72) Tuesday for the second game of their three-game series. The Cubs took the opener 6-4 Monday. First pitch from Wrigley Field is scheduled for 8:05 p.m. ET. Let’s analyze the lines around the Rockies vs. Cubs odds with MLB picks and predictions.

Rockies RHP German Marquez (11-9, 3.80 ERA) makes his 26th start. He has a 1.17 WHIP, 3.2 BB/9 and 9.2 K/9 through 147 IP.

  • Marquez, like the Rockies, is much different on the road than at home. He is 8-2 with a 3.13 ERA at Coors Field but is 3-7 with a 4.81 ERA on the road.
  • He allowed 7 earned runs in 4 innings against the San Francisco Giants Aug. 12 in his last road outing.

Cubs LHP Justin Steele (2-2, 3.22 ERA) makes his third start of the year in his 14th appearance. He has a 1.25 WHIP, 4.4 BB/9 and 10.9 K/9 through 22 1/3 IP.

The Rockies’ 14 road wins are the fewest in the majors and they have dropped seven of their last eight games on the road. They are 2-2 against the Cubs this season.

The Cubs’ win Monday night ended a 13-game losing skid at home. They are 3-15 in their last 18 games.

This is a tough call but even considering the Cubs’ slump the Rockies’ year-long struggles on the road leaves Chicago as the play.

Take the CUBS (+110).

As I expect a Cubs outright win, I have them obviously covering the spread.

Take the CUBS +1.5 (-145).

Over/Under (O/U)

Just over half the games at Wrigley Field (50.8%) have gone Over the projected total.

Six of the Rockies’ last seven games have had totals of 9 or more runs.

Only two of the last six for Chicago have had totals of 9 or more runs.

Take OVER 8.5 (-125).

Colorado Rockies at Chicago Cubs odds, picks and prediction

Analyzing Monday’s Colorado Rockies at Chicago Cubs odds and lines, with MLB picks and predictions.

The Colorado Rockies (57-67) and Chicago Cubs (54-72) open a three-game series Monday. This set will mark the end of the season series which Colorado leads 2-1. First pitch is scheduled for 8:05 p.m. from Wrigley Field in Chicago. Let’s analyze the lines around the Rockies vs. Cubs odds with MLB picks and predictions.

Rockies RHP Antonio Senzatela (2-9, 4.58 ERA) makes his 21st start. He has a 1.40 WHIP, 1.9 BB/9 and 6.1 K/9 through 112 IP.

  • Received no-decision in his last start with 2 earned runs allowed on 6 hits and 1 walk with 2 strikeouts over 7 innings in Colorado’s 6-5 win Aug. 16 over the San Diego Padres.
  • Had an Aug 5. start at home against the Cubs. He allowed 4 earned runs in 4 2/3 IP with 6 strikeouts in the Rockies’ 6-5 victory but received no-decision.

Cubs RHP Kyle Hendricks (14-5, 4.04 ERA) makes his 26th start. He has a 1.33 WHIP, 2.1 BB/9 and 6.7 K/9 across 144 2/3 IP.

  • Picked up a win in his last start with 1 earned run on 3 hits and 3 walks with 3 strikeouts over 6 innings as the Cubs won 2-1 at the Cincinnati Reds Aug. 17.
  • His ERA was blown up by a shaky outing Aug. 12 against the Milwaukee Brewers where he allowed 9 runs and 11 hits in just 4 innings.

Prediction

Rockies 5, Cubs 4

Money line (ML)

The Cubs’ slump has continued as they are 2-8 in their last 10 games, including a three-game sweep at the hands of the Kansas City Royals over the weekend. Hendricks often becomes their “stopper” but he’s had a few shaky outings in the last month.

The Rockies had won five in a row before losing Sunday to Arizona. I like the ROCKIES (+110) on the road at plus money against a struggling Cubs team.

FANTASY BASEBALL: Serious about winning your league? Sign up for BaseballHQ.com to dominate the competition. Subscribe now!

Run line/Against the spread (ATS)

The Rockies have covered the spread seven times in their last 10 games, including in five of their last six. Largely thanks to an uptick in production at the plate they’ve been on a nice run lately; Colorado has scored at least 4 runs in each of its last six games.

The Cubs are just 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games and scored 5 total runs in their three-game set against the Royals. Bet the ROCKIES +1.5 (-205) to cover the spread as the underdogs.

Over/Under (O/U)

Getting to Hendricks early will be critical for the Rockies and for the Over. Hendricks can go deep into games and knows how to limit the damage which could keep the total runs in this game on the lower side.

However, with the way the Rockies have been hitting in the last week, I like the OVER 8.5 (-122).
