I feel like every article now starts with sports is shut down because … you know where I’m going. But it’s true. We don’t have much to watch that took place prior to the tail-end of the college basketball season.
The cycle of sports coverage for college athletics generally starts in the fall with college football, then runs through the spring sports that end their seasons in the early summer. Except this year, there were no spring sports, only fall and winter before things got cut short very prematurely because of the coronavirus pandemic.
So what better thing to do than reflect?
That’s exactly what BTN did when three of the studio analysts got together to each provide their favorite story of the Big Ten athletic season, prior to everything being shelved.
The trio of Dave Revsine, Rick Pizzo, and Mike Hall each had different answers, but Pizzo’s was what Ryan Day and Ohio State did. He even threw a little shade at Clemson with commenting on the Buckeyes getting the short end of the stick with the officiating in the Fiesta Bowl.
You can listen to Pizzo’s comments, as well as the other two’s favorite stories by clicking on the below Tweet shared by the Big Ten Network’s official Twitter feed.
