‘Dancing with the Stars’ champion Rashad Jennings rates Greg Schiano’s bowl eligible dance moves

Rashad Jennings rates Rutgers head coach Greg Schiano’s dance moves.

Greg Schiano can bust a move, at least according to former ‘Dancing with the Stars’ champion Rashad Jennings. The former NFL star running back rated Schiano’s dance moves, as seen following Rutgers football’s win at Indiana on Saturday.

Jennings, who won Season 24 of the now iconic ‘Dancing With the Stars’ television show, is a former NFL running back. He played eight years in the league, including his final three with the New York Giants.

A seventh-round pick out of Liberty, he finished with a career 4.1 yards per carry.

In an attempt to uncover hard-hitting journalism, Jennings was asked by Rutgers Wire to rate Schiano’s dancing ability. Following Saturday’s win, which made Rutgers bowl-eligible for the first time since 2014, Schiano cut the rug in the locker room.

“Eight out of 10,” Jennings told Rutgers Wire on Saturday night of Schiano’s post-game dance moves.

“Supreme confidence, great timing, played to the crowd, jus not sure it was dancing – but it got the people going. thumbs up!”

It is good insight from Jennings, who as a former dance competition champion, can certainly understand the difficulties in transitioning from the gridiron to the ballroom. Can Schiano, based on this little snippet, be on ‘Dancing with the Stars’ someday?

“Indeed! The pure confidence and understanding of how to play to the motions of the crowd will lock him in for a chance to develop,” Jennings said.

Jennings has a neat venture out, with the launch of his own podcast that can be found on his YouTube channel.

But now the real question is:

Greg Schiano versus Brian Kelly, who has the better moves?

For those that don’t remember, Kelly, the head football coach at LSU, went viral for his attempted dance moves. While hosting a recruit, Kelly did something that looked like dancing but might have just been gas.

Asked to compare the two, Jennings said that Schiano tripped the light fantastic better than Kelly.

“Not original. Mimicked the athlete,” Jennings said of Kelly’s dancing.

“He did play the camera well but they needed slow motion dramatics to enhance. Dress bad in comparison as well. Overall, both give great efforts and I applaud them but Brian looked out of his comfort zone.”

Ex-Jaguars RB Rashad Jennings goes viral for awful Wheel of Fortune guess

Oof!

It’s probably safe to say that former Jacksonville Jaguars running back Rashad Jennings isn’t a movie buff.

On an episode of ABC’sĀ Wheel of Fortune that aired Wednesday, Jennings competed against fellow NFL alumni DeMarcus Ware and Jared Allen. When the softball of all softball puzzles landed in his lap, Jennings messed up in pretty brutal fashion.

Look, if you don’t know who Quentin Tarantino is then you just don’t know who Quentin Tarantino is. He’s a famous movie director, but not so famous that every person in the world knows the name.

There simply aren’t people walking around named Puentin, though.

Jennings has to know that Quentin is a first name, right? He even had a Jaguars teammate named Quentin!

In the time since his playing career ended, Jennings has been no stranger to television. He won a season of Dancing with the StarsĀ and he’s made appearances on Catfish and Guy’s Grocery Games.

Wheel of Fortune might not be his game, though.

Ex-NFLer Rashad Jennings had an all-time terrible Wheel of Fortune fail, leading to ‘Puentin Tarantino’ jokes

Oh no, Rashad. What a horrible guess!

Look, maybe former NFL running back Rashad Jennings isn’t familiar with the works of director Quentin Tarantino.

That’s the only explanation I can give for what happened onĀ Celebrity Wheel of Fortune, an all-NFL episode featuring him, Marcellus Wiley and Jared Allen.

Jennings faced a puzzle with all but one letter: “Driving to Reno with _uentin Tarantino.” He just needed a Q.

But he didn’t know it, spun the wheel and guessed … a “P,” which is not a “Q” and you can hear the crowd groan at the guess.

Now, everyone’s ragging on him and making all the “Puentin Tarantino” jokes:

Cowboys fans are mistakenly blaming a retired Giants RB for injuring Dak Prescott

Wrong No. 23.

PSA: you should never use social media to rip a player, whether it’s due to fantasy football or a bad play they made or whatever. Just don’t do it!

In this case, harassment from Dallas Cowboys fans was aimed at the wrong player, and a retired one at that.

Die-hards have been going after Rashad Jennings for the play that led to Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott suffering a horrific ankle injury. The problem? He retired from the NFL in 2016 after three years with the Giants … and he played running back.

But because he wore No. 23 — like Logan Ryan, who was the cornerback involved in the play and who had a classy response to the incident — he’s been getting all kinds of hate-tweets sent his way:

Those are the ones we could print. Part of the issue? A writer actually posted a story accidentally listing Jennings as the tackler, and he apologized:

Mistakes happen. But harassing an athlete online because of a play? Nope.

Rashad Jennings: Eli Manning ‘beer guy’ story is bogus

Former New York Giants RB Rashad Jennings says the Eli Manning “beer guy” story is bogus.

Last week we were told by several former players and others surrounding the team that New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning had a “beer guy” in every stadium in the league that would procure him with post game suds.

Former kicker Lawrence Tynes broke the news that Manning always drank beer on the team bus back to the airport after road games and had a guy at the Ā ready to hand him beers in every town.

Another former Giant, running back Rashad Jennings, disputes Tynes’ tale, telling TMZ Sports that it’s simply not true.
