Watch: Kyren Williams does a front flip over a 49ers defender on terrific TD catch

Kyren Williams goes airborne with the flip into the end zone for six!

Kyren Williams has been a touchdown machine since taking over as the Rams’ starting running back last season, and he found the end zone once again on Sunday. He capped off a 16-play drive by the Rams in the second quarter, catching a pass from Matthew Stafford and going 15 yards into the end zone.

It was a beautiful route but his flip over a 49ers defender into the end zone was the real highlight of the play, pulling the Rams to within seven points of San Francisco with 1:11 left in the first half.

Williams didn’t exactly stick the landing but the somersault was flippin’ fantastic.

If you missed Sunday night’s thriller, check out highlights from the Rams’ overtime loss to the Lions

The Los Angeles Rams didn’t get the result they were hoping for on Sunday night but they took the Detroit Lions down to the wire once again, only to come up short in overtime. The offensive line’s depth was tested due to injuries suffered in the 26-20 loss, but the defense held up its end of the bargain by limiting the Lions to only 20 points in the first four quarters.

Matthew Stafford never touched the ball in overtime, which is the sad reality of the NFL’s current overtime rules, but the Rams had several chances to win that game in regulation. Stafford played lights out with the exception of one bad interception in the end zone, and his connection with Cooper Kupp was undeniably back to 2021 form.

With Puka Nacua sidelined by a knee injury, Tyler Johnson stepped up and had 79 yards receiving, including a 63-yarder in the second half that really flipped the momentum for the Rams.

Defensively, Byron Young and Jared Verse each had sacks, John Johnson had a fantastic interception and Cobie Durant nearly came up with a highlight-reel pick in the fourth quarter.

It didn’t end with a win, but there were plenty of great plays in Sunday night’s game.

Watch: Jared Verse drops Jared Goff for first NFL sack

Jared Verse with his first career sack!

There was some Jared-on-Jared crime at the end of the first half on Sunday night, though it was a play that should have Rams fans excited about their first-round pick.

With 15 seconds left in the second quarter, Jared Verse brought down Lions quarterback Jared Goff for his first career sack in the NFL. Goff didn’t sense Verse coming from the blindside as he was drilled in the back, a play that very easily could’ve resulted in a fumble.

The play capped off a disappointing first 30 minutes for the Rams, but it shows the potential that Verse has as a pass rusher. He beat the left tackle with some beautiful hand technique, a great sign for the rookie edge rusher.

Watch: Stetson Bennett threw a beautiful 47-yard bomb to J.J. Laap for a touchdown

Stetson Bennett bounced back from an interception by throwing a perfect deep ball to J.J. Laap for a 47-yard TD

Stetson Bennett bounced back from his four interceptions last week by throwing a game-winning touchdown pass in the final 6 seconds and he showed similar resilience against the Chargers on Saturday.

After a bad pick in the end zone, Bennett came right back two drives later and made his best throw of the preseason. He tossed a 47-yard bomb to rookie J.J. Laap down the middle of the field, hitting him in stride for a touchdown.

It was perhaps the best throw of Bennett’s preseason career thus far, showing he has a strong enough arm to hit his receivers deep down the field. It was also a good catch by Laap, which shouldn’t go unnoticed.

Bennett is still battling to be the Rams’ backup quarterback in the first two games of the season and throws like this one will certainly help his case.

Watch 25 minutes of Blake Corum highlights from his decorated career at Michigan

New Rams running back Blake Corum was as productive as any player in college, and his highlight reel is filled with eye-popping plays

The Los Angeles Rams already had one highly productive running back in the backfield, but they added another in the third round of the 2024 NFL draft. At No. 83 overall, the Rams selected Michigan’s Blake Corum, pairing him with Kyren Williams as their new 1-2 punch at running back.

Corum is one of the best backs in Michigan history, rushing for 3,737 yards and 58 touchdowns in four seasons, adding another 411 yards receiving with three touchdowns. Last season alone, he scored 28 total touchdowns during Michigan’s championship run after scoring 19 in just 12 games the year prior.

Though he might be small at just 5-foot-8 and 205 pounds, Corum is difficult to get on the ground and as shifty as any back in the 2024 class. His highlight reel with the Wolverines is chock full of eye-popping plays, whether it’s a sudden cut or a burst of speed through the hole for a big gain.

Thanks to the Big Ten Network, there’s a 25-minute highlight package from Corum’s decorated career at Michigan, which you can watch below.

Watch highlights of Braden Fiske, the Rams’ new defensive lineman

Braden Fiske is a high-motor defender who never gives up on a play and consistently works his way into the backfield

The Los Angeles Rams’ defensive line lost a future Hall of Famer in Aaron Donald this offseason after he retired from the NFL, so the front office had to begin rebuilding along the defensive front. They did so early in the draft by selecting Florida State defensive tackle Braden Fiske with the 39th overall pick, a selection that was made after trading up from No. 52.

The Rams obviously loved Fiske’s game and didn’t want to let him get away, moving up 13 spots to ensure he would wear blue and yellow. Fiske was a teammate of Verse at Florida State and the two of them wreaked havoc up front for the Seminoles.

Fiske had six sacks last season to go with nine tackles for a loss, helping Florida State go undefeated in the regular season. When you flip on the tape, you see a relentless defender who never gives up on a play and is always working to get off his blocks, which leads to impactful plays.

Take a look at his highlight reel from 2023, his only season at FSU.

Watch 15 minutes of highlights from Kyren Williams’ Pro Bowl season

Check out all of Kyren Williams’ best plays from his 2023 season

One of the biggest surprises to come out of the Rams’ 2023 season was Kyren Williams’ emergence as the team’s No. 1 running back. Not only that, but he established himself as one of the best tailbacks in the NFL, rushing for 1,144 yards in only 12 games played.

He led the NFL with 95.3 rushing yards per game and finished third in total touchdowns (15), posting at least 100 yards from scrimmage in nine of the 13 games he played, including the playoffs.

It was as good a[anyclip-media thumbnail=”undefined” playlistId=”undefined” content=”dW5kZWZpbmVk”][/anyclip-media] season as the Rams could’ve hoped for from their second-year back, who was only a fifth-round pick in 2022.

The Rams put together a highlight reel from Williams’ season, picking out some of his best plays from the 2023 campaign – and there are a lot of them. The video is 15 minutes long, which shows just how many great plays Williams made over the course of the season.

Watch highlights from Rams’ thrilling win over Giants in Week 17

If you missed the Rams’ nail-biting win over the Giants on Sunday, you’ll want to watch highlights from the game

The New York Giants didn’t look like much of a match for the Los Angeles Rams heading into Sunday’s game at MetLife Stadium, but they absolutely made things interesting. The Rams eked out a narrow 26-25 victory on the road after nearly blowing a 26-19 lead, improving their record to 9-7 and moving one step closer to a playoff berth.

The Rams led all afternoon and were only tied with the Giants once when the score was 7-7 early in the second quarter, but New York hung around and outscored the Rams 15-6 in the final 20 minutes of the game.

The play that nearly cost the Rams was New York’s 94-yard punt return for a touchdown with 3:27 left in the fourth quarter. The Giants went for two after a penalty by the Rams, but Tyrod Taylor’s pass fell incomplete so the Rams remained in the lead by one point.

The Rams went three-and-out on their second-to-last final possession and gave the Giants a shot to win the game with a 54-yard field goal, but Mason Crosby’s kick missed wide left.

If you missed the thrilling win by Los Angeles, check out the highlights below.

Watch: Puka Nacua caps off Rams’ textbook 95-yard opening drive with TD

The Rams put together a perfect 95-yard drive against the Saints, which Puka Nacua capped off with a 4th-down touchdown

The Los Angeles Rams couldn’t have started Thursday night’s game much better. Not only did they force a punt on the Saints’ opening drive, but they took the ball 95 yards in 14 plays and scored a touchdown on their first possession to take a 7-0 lead.

The drive took nearly 8 minutes off the clock, and it was capped off by a touchdown from Matthew Stafford to Puka Nacua – on fourth down from the 2-yard line, no less.

Nacua had two catches for 19 yards on the drive, including a 17-yarder on third down to move the chains. His touchdown was just a great read by Stafford, putting the ball in a perfect spot for his receiver.
