Super Bowl 56: Opening odds, spread, moneyline, over/under for Rams-Bengals

An early look at the odds for Super Bowl 56 in Los Angeles

The Los Angeles Rams have opened as 4.5-point favorites over the Cincinnati Bengals in Super Bowl LVI on Tipico Sportsbook.

The game is being played in their home stadium, SoFi Stadium.

Los Angeles entered the season as a title contender and that weight apparently still holds despite the Bengals’ impressive run to the Super Bowl, including an upset of the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC title game. Moneyline odds are -205 for the Rams and +165 for the Bengals. The over/under total is 49.5.

The Rams advanced to the Super Bowl with a win over the San Francisco 49ers but failed to cover a 3.5-point spread in the process. They’ll be going against a more explosive offense when they play the Bengals but also have a defense up to the challenge.

Cincinnati opened as a bigger underdog against the Chiefs at +6.5 and saw the line moved to 7.5 before kickoff. They shut out KC in the second half of a comeback win and will have to be equally stout against a Rams offense with plenty of firepower.

The Bengals also need their offensive line to be better, as the Rams have players like Aaron Donald and Von Miller more than capable of exploiting it.
