ProBlue: Best NFL performances from former Michigan football players in Week 11

Really great stuff by the guys last week! #GoBlue

Michigan has done a terrific job of developing NFL talent in recent years. In fact, the Wolverines have over 40 alumni in the NFL, many of whom are starters of serious contributors.

This week saw some of the usual suspect return to the top five list. Nico Collins returned to action for the Texans, Aidan Hutchinson recorded his first sack in over a month, and Jourdan Lewis forced a fumble in the Cowboys victory.

Unfortunately, Kwity Paye was on a bye week, so his recent hot streak was put on pause for some much earned rest, but he will be back this week.

Michigan football alumni continue to break out in NFL Week 10

Huge week for some former Wolverines! #GoBlue

The NFL is approaching the final stretch of the season, and Michigan players are rising to the occasion.

Aidan Hutchinson and Kwity Paye returned to top form, while Ambry Thomas and other defensive backs have continued to make plays on the back end.

Missing from this week’s list, however, are any offensive players. Again. Nico Collins was out hurt, and Donovan Peoples-Jones continues to get up to speed in the Lions offense. Expect to see those two have big games in the coming weeks as Detroit shifts to a more explosive passing offense and Collins returns to top form for a playoff push.

Either way, here are the top five players from this past week’s NFL action.

ProBlue: How former Michigan football players performed in NFL Week 9

These guys showed out! #GoBlue

NFL Week 9 has wrapped up, and Michigan players around the league are preparing for the final stretch of another grueling NFL season.

Wolverine, and State of Michigan, legend Aidan Hutchinson was unfortunately on a bye, so he and now-teammate Donovan Peoples-Jones will have to wait until next week to get back on the list.

Unfortunately, it was a pretty quiet week for Wolverines in the NFL. Brandon Graham probably has his best game of the season, but otherwise, it was a relatively mundane slate.

This week features the first offensive player in nearly a month with Nico Collins making his return. If this keeps up with DPJ on the Lions, expect it to be another season until Michigan offensive players get their footing at the next level.

Here are the players who showed out the most last week.

ProBlue: Who showed out for Michigan on the big stage

Some really great showings from former #Michigan players this week! #GoBlue

NFL Week 5 has officially wrapped up, and it was chock-full of big performances from former Wolverines.

Sadly Nico Collins had a relatively quiet week and dropped out of the top five receiving yards total, but the defensive alum picked up the slack. Aidan Hutchinson was all over social media with his one-handed snag, Mike Danna iced the Chiefs victory with a sack — and plenty more!

Sack leaderboards:

T1: Aidan Hutchinson (4.5)

T1: Rashan Gary (4.5)

3: Mike Danna (3.5)

4: Kwity Paye (3)

5: Josh Uche (2)

ProBlue: How former Michigan football players fared in NFL Week 3

Some of the guys really balled out! #GoBlue

Michigan has nearly 50 players currently in the NFL. From stars to practice squad members, this weekly series will document the gridiron greatness of former Wolverines.

Michigan’s NFL numbers are focused on the defense, but recent performances from Nico Collins and Donovan Peoples-Jones are looking to balance the scales a little more.

Jabrill Peppers has also been facing a bit of a career resurgence after joining the Patriots two seasons ago in free agency. He continues to impress with his versatility and talent up in New England.

Rashan Gary looks to be the next Wolverine to make big money in the NFL. His recovery has gone great and Green Bay should look to lock him up sooner rather than later.

The Wolverines currently have nine first-round picks in the NFL and 19 starters. Here’s how they performed in Week 3 of the 2023 season.
