POSTGAME REPORT: Alabama dominates Utah State 55-0

Alabama makes quick work of Utah State defeating the Aggies 55-0.

It didn’t take [autotag]Nick Saban[/autotag] and the Alabama football team long to flex its muscles against Utah State on Saturday night. The Crimson Tide defeated the Aggies 55-0 in dominating fashion.

The Alabama offense was led by reigning Heisman Trophy winner [autotag]Bryce Young[/autotag] who compiled 295 yards of offense and six total touchdowns.

Young would hit both [autotag]Jermaine Burton[/autotag] and [autotag]Traeshon Holden[/autotag] for two touchdown passes each while also connecting with running back [autotag]Jase McClellan[/autotag] for a touchdown.

The Alabama defense completely handled Utah State from start to finish. The Aggies finished with just 136 total yards on offense and mustard just six first downs on the night.

Next up for Alabama is a trip to Austin to take on the Texas Longhorns.

POSTGAME REPORT: Streak stays alive, Alabama has monster second half vs. Tennessee

Alabama takes down Tennessee to keep the streak alive!

The fourth-ranked team in all of college football, Alabama, had a rough first half against the Tennessee Volunteers, but bounced back strong in the second half and finished the game 52-24.

Tennessee held a one possession lead in the second quarter, but the Crimson Tide answered quickly shortly after and went into the half with a one-touchdown lead.

Star quarterback Bryce Young had a stellar game, throwing 31 completions on 43 attempts for 371 yards and two passing touchdowns. He also managed to use his legs for 42 yards and two additional touchdowns.

On the receiving ends of Young’s passes were and handful of receivers, especially John Metchie III and Jameson Williams, who combined for 17 catches, 144 yards and two touchdowns.

Brian Robinson once again led the Crimson Tide ground game, rushing for 107 yards on 26 carries for three touchdowns.

The Crimson Tide defense did an amazing job containing a hot Hendon Hooker, who only completed 19 passes for 282 yards, three touchdowns and an interception.

Three ball carriers amounted to only 64 yards on the ground for Tennessee.

Alabama now has the next week off and will prepare to face the LSU Tigers in two weeks.

Postgame Report: Alabama vs. Tennessee

Alabama defeated Tennessee with a final score of 48-17 to improve to 5-0 on the season and remain the only undefeated team in the SEC.

No. 2 Alabama improves to 5-0 on the season after deafeating Tennessee 48-17.

Nick Saban also improves is own personal coaching record against former assistant coaches. This time, he defeated former Alabama defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt.

While the Crimson Tide walked away with a win over Tennessee, consecutive win No. 14 over the Volunteers, they lost a key part of their offense in Jaylen Waddle.

Waddle suffered a broken ankle after an awkward tackle while returning the kickoff.

Mac Jones had another impressive game, throwing for 387 yards on 25 completions through 31 attempts. Jones was only 13 yards away from reaching 400 yards, which would have extended his streak of 400+ yard passing games to four – the previous record was two.

Slade Bolden stepped up to fill in the missing Waddle, as did Miller Forristall, combining for 119 yards on seven receptions.

Redshirt-freshman wide receiver John Metchie III seems to be leading the charge to be Jones’ favorite target as he reeled in seven receptions for 151 yards.

The Crimson Tide’s ground game took control today, scoring five touchdowns on 38 carries for 167 yards. Including some impressive stats by Najee Harris, who ran for 96 yards and three touchdowns on 20 carries.

Pete Golding and the Alabama defense held Tennessee to only 17 points. Jarrett Guarantano threw for 162 yards on 13 completions and two touchdowns. The ground game rushed for139 yards on 38 carries.
