Who would win Steelers more games in 2025, Justin Fields or Russell Wilson?

With both Russell Wilson and Justin Fields hitting free agency, the Steelers must decide who gives them the best chance to win in 2025.

Both Russell Wilson and Justin Fields are scheduled to hit free agency in the coming months, and while the Pittsburgh Steelers are likely to re-sign one of their QBs, which one would prove to be the correct choice?

Fields began the 2024 season as the starter for the Pittsburgh Steelers due to Wilson’s calf injury, and he made the most of his opportunity—winning four of his six starts. Fields ultimately posted the highest completion percentage of his career in 2024, completing 65.8% of his passes, along with a 93.3 passer rating—the best of his four-year career.

Wilson took over as the starter in Week 7 against the New York Jets and never looked back—winning six of his first seven starts for the Pittsburgh Steelers. However, he then lost the next five Steelers contests, including a playoff loss to the Ravens.

Fans have been calling for a change at quarterback over the past month, which begs the question: which one of these two QBs would theoretically win more games for the Black and Gold in 2025?

Cast your vote below on who you believe would win more games for the Steelers—the ‘moon ball’-throwing Wilson or the ever-athletic Fields.

POLL: Who wins Sunday’s Patriots-Bills regular season finale?

Who wins on Sunday? Patriots or Bills?

The New England Patriots will take on the Buffalo Bills in their 2024 regular season finale.

This will be an opportunity for the Patriots to end things on a positive note after getting blown out by the Los Angeles Chargers in a 40-7 loss last week. Meanwhile, the Bills are likely looking to rest their starters after blowing out the New York Jets and clinching a spot in the playoffs.

The Patriots couldn’t get anything going offensively against the Chargers, and they also struggled on the defensive side of the ball. They converted only 11 first downs and were 2-of-10 on third downs. They tallied only 48 total plays offensively and had under 20 minutes in time of possession.

On the defensive side of the ball, they got carved up by Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert, who went 26-of-38 passing for 281 yards and three touchdowns.

The Patriots nearly pulled off an upset win on the road against the Bills when the two teams last met in Week 16. However, they failed to overcome MVP-candidate quarterback Josh Allen in a 24-21 loss in the end.

Allen is expected to play for an extended period of time in Sunday’s game. He could very well start, take one snap and sit for the rest of the day. It’s clear how the Bills plan on approaching the matchup.

Things are a little more uncertain for the Patriots, who currently own the No. 1 overall pick of the 2025 NFL draft. If they play their starters for the entire game, they could very well beat the Bills on Sunday. However, a win could ruin their draft position.

POLL: What should the Patriots do with the No. 1 overall draft pick?

What should the Patriots do with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft?

The New England Patriots would own the No. 1 overall pick of the 2025 NFL draft if the season ended today.

But what should they do with the pick?

Everyone will have a strong opinion on how the Patriots should approach the draft if their current position stays intact. Some would argue that the team should draft a top receiver, like Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter.

Others would prefer the team focus more on the offensive line, particularly at the left tackle position. LSU’s Will Campbell and Texas’ Kelvin Banks Jr. appear to be the top offensive line options in the draft.

The Patriots also can consider trading the top draft pick to another quarterback-needy team. They could end up moving down only a few spots to pick up an extra first-round pick for 2026, along with multiple other picks.

If they moved down, they’d possibly still be within reach of Campbell or Banks, or if they wanted a receiver, Arizona’s Tetairoa McMillan would be the next likely option behind Hunter.

POLL: Who wins Saturday’s Patriots-Chargers Week 17 game?

Who wins on Saturday? Patriots or Chargers?

The New England Patriots will try to snap their five-game losing streak in Saturday’s clash with the Los Angeles Chargers.

They’ll look to bounce back from a surprisingly close 24-21 loss to the Buffalo Bills in Week 16. Quarterback Drake Maye went 22-of-36 passing for 261 yards, two touchdowns and an interception.

His favorite receiving targets were wide receiver Kayshon Boutte and tight end Austin Hooper. Boutte finished with five catches and a team-high 95 yards and one touchdown, while Hooper hauled in four receptions for 55 yards.

Meanwhile, the Chargers are coming off a dramatic comeback win over the Denver Broncos. Justin Herbert went 23-of-31 passing for 284 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. Gus Edwards powered the rushing attack with 14 carries for 68 yards and two touchdowns.

Rookie wideout Ladd McConkey also continued to have a strong season with six catches for 87 yards.

The Chargers were victorious in the last meeting between the two teams in December 2023, but the Patriots have the upper hand in the series by a 27-16-2 margin.

Los Angeles has multiple offensive weapons to attack New England’s defense, but everything could come down to the Patriots’ ability to slow down the rushing attack.

It has been a struggle for the defensive front throughout the season, and they’ll once again be tested by the Chargers on Saturday. But can the Patriots offense limit the mistakes and make enough plays to keep them in the game?

POLL: Who wins Sunday’s Patriots-Bills game?

Who wins on Sunday? Patriots or Bills?

The New England Patriots will look to get back on the winning track on Sunday in a tough Week 16 matchup with the Buffalo Bills.

Buffalo is riding a huge wave of momentum as an 11-3 team and a playoff contender. Meanwhile, the Patriots have dropped their last four straight games, including an ugly 30-17 loss on the road to the Arizona Cardinals in Week 15.

Patriots quarterback Drake Maye went 19-of-23 passing for 202 yards, a touchdown and an interception in the game. Rhamondre Stevenson led all rushers with 13 carries for 69 yards. However, Maye scored the only rushing touchdown of the game with a five-yard run into the end zone in the fourth quarter.

Meanwhile, Kendrick Bourne led the Patriots in receiving, catching three passes for 44 yards. On the defensive side, the Patriots got run over by the Cardinals’ rushing attack for 163 yards and two touchdowns.

Unlike the Patriots, the Bills had a battle for the ages in their last outing against the Detroit Lions. They pulled out a 48-42 victory with Josh Allen throwing for 362 yards and two touchdowns.

However, he was only part of the offensive attack for the Bills. Running back James Cook had 14 carries for 105 yards on the day and found the end zone twice.

Ty Johnson carried the load for the Bills at receiver, catching five passes for 114 yards. It was an offensive explosion for many players on the Bills, as they were able to secure their 11th win of the season.

The Patriots lead the all-time series between the two teams by a 78-50-1 margin. Who do you have winning Sunday’s game? Make sure to vote in our poll below.

POLL: Who wins Sunday’s Patriots-Cardinals game?

Who wins on Sunday? Patriots or Cardinals?

The New England Patriots will look to get back on the winning track when facing the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.

They were defeated by the Indianapolis Colts 25-24 in their last game out in Week 13. Quarterback Drake Maye was efficient on the day, going 24-of-30 passing for 238 yards, a touchdown and an interception. He kept the team in the game by making key plays late.

It was a game where the Patriots offense finally found some balance with the ground game also coming into play. Running back Rhamondre Stevenson had 18 carries for 73 yards, while Antonio Gibson had seven carries for 62 yards and a touchdown.

Nevertheless, the Patriots defense could not hold strong in the end. They gave up an 80-yard game-winning drive to Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson. New England has had an entire bye week to stew on the heartbreaking loss.

Meanwhile, the Cardinals fell to the Seattle Seahawks last week by a 31-18 margin. Quarterback Kyler Murray struggled on the afternoon, going 25-of-38 passing for 259 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions.

Running back James Conner has been a stabilizing force throughout his career, and he showed it again on Sunday. He carried the ball 18 times for 90 yards on the afternoon. Tight end Trey McBride was the team’s leading receiver and Murray’s safety valve. He caught seven passes for 70 yards on the day.

The Patriots lead the all-time series against the Cardinals by a 9-7 margin. They have won the last three meetings between the two teams.

For the Patriots, it’s about finishing the last four games of the season strong, as they look to build for the future. Who do you have winning Sunday’s game? Make sure to vote in our poll below.

POLL: Who wins Sunday’s Patriots-Colts game?

Who wins on Sunday? Patriots or Colts?

The New England Patriots are set to take on the Indianapolis Colts in a Week 13 matchup that features two teams still trying to find their identity.

The Patriots are coming off a 34-15 loss to the Miami Dolphins last week. Quarterback Drake Maye got the offense going late in a game where he went 22-of-37 passing on the afternoon for 222 yards, a touchdown and an interception.

The combination of wide receiver Demario Douglas and tight end Austin Hooper provided the majority of the offense for the day. Douglas was the team’s leading receiver with five catches for 62 yards, while Hooper had four catches, 59 yards and the only offensive touchdown of the game for New England.

Cornerback Christian Gonzalez scored the other touchdown on a 63-yard scoop-and-score off a fumble recovery.

The Colts also struggled in their most recent outing in a 24-6 loss to the Detroit Lions. It was a difficult day for the Indianapolis offense with quarterback Anthony Richardson being held to only 172 passing yards. He also added 10 carries for 61 yards to the stat sheet.

The biggest standout for Indianapolis was wideout Michael Pittman Jr., who had six catches for 96 yards. New England leads the all-time series between the two teams by a 53-31 margin.

Who wins on Sunday? Patriots or Dolphins?

The New England Patriots and Miami Dolphins will meet for the second time this season on Sunday afternoon.

The Patriots are coming off a 28-22 loss to the Los Angeles Rams in Week 11. Rookie quarterback Drake Maye had a stellar afternoon, going 30-of-40 passing for 282 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. Running back Rhamondre Stevenson provided some balance in the running game with 20 carries for 73 yards.

Meanwhile, the Dolphins have been trying to find their footing after quarterback Tua Tagovailoa missed a significant chunk of the season. They recently picked up their second win in a row by knocking off the Las Vegas Raiders by a 34-19 margin.

Tagovailoa had an impressive showing with 288 passing yards and three touchdowns. Running back De’Von Achane also recorded 17 carries for 73 yards and a touchdown. However, it was former Patriots tight end Jonnu Smith who had a breakout performance with six catches for 101 yards and a touchdown.

The Patriots and Dolphins have a storied history against each other. The rivalry dates back to 1966. Miami has the all-time lead in the series by a 63-55 margin. They have won the last three contests.

Florida moves back up in SEC power poll despite loss to Georgia

Florida gave Georgia a good fight in the first half Saturday, leading to a small boost in the SEC Power Poll from 247Sports after Week 10.

Florida might have lost against Georgia in Week 10, but the Gators received a small bump in 247Sports’ SEC poll on Monday.

The Gators moved back into a tie for the No. 11 spot in the conference with the Arkansas Razorbacks. The 247Sports SEC beat writers put Florida in the same spot two weeks ago, but Arkansas moved up during the Gators’ second bye week.

A 63-31 beating at the hands of Ole Miss knocked Arky back down in the rankings, and Florida’s defense continues to keep games against the best teams in the conference close, even after star quarterback [autotag]DJ Lagway[/autotag] went down with a hamstring injury in the first half.

Georgia and Texas remain on top of the poll rankings, followed by Tennessee and LSU, which both moved ahead of Texas A&M this week. Alabama, Ole Miss and Vanderbilt all stayed put to round out the top half of the conference.

Here’s a look at the complete rankings after 10 weeks of college football action.
