The Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Washington Commanders 55-23 in the NFC championship game on Sunday afternoon at Lincoln Financial Field.

Turnovers proved to be the difference in the game as Washington turned the ball over four times, and the Eagles scored touchdowns each time. It was an interesting shift for the Commanders, who defeated the top-seeded Lions last week, winning the turnover margin 5-0.

Saquon Barkley rushed for 118 yards and three touchdowns in the win. Washington rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels completed 29 of 48 passes for 255 yards with a touchdown and interception. He also led the Commanders with 48 rushing yards to cap off a record-breaking rookie season.

The Washington Commanders defeated the Detroit Lions 45-31 in Saturday’s NFC divisional round, advancing to the NFC championship game for the first time in 33 years.

Rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels was masterful again, completing 22 of 31 passes for 299 yards and two touchdowns. He finished second on the team with 51 rushing yards, too.

It was Washington’s seventh consecutive win, and Daniels improved to 2-0 in the playoffs.

The Commanders will learn on Sunday whether they’ll head to Philadelphia (Eagles) or Los Angeles (Rams) for next week’s NFC title game.

The Washington Commanders are officially back in the playoffs. The Commanders clinched a playoff berth with a 30-24 overtime win over the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday night.

Quarterback Jayden Daniels completed 24 of 36 passes for 227 yards, with three touchdowns and one interception. Daniels also led both teams with 127 rushing yards. His touchdown pass to Zach Ertz in overtime ended the game, giving Washington its fourth consecutive win and 11th of the season.

The Washington Commanders improved to 10-5 on Sunday, defeating the Philadelphia Eagles 36-33 at Northwest Stadium.

It was Washington’s third consecutive win as it moved closer to clinching a playoff spot. Quarterback Jayden Daniels completed 24 of 39 passes for 258 yards with five touchdowns and two interceptions. Daniels also led Washington with 81 rushing yards.

The Commanders won the game despite turning the ball over five times. What’s more impressive is Washington did this against the NFL’s top-ranked defense.

The Washington Commanders improved to 9-5 with Sunday’s 20-19 win over the New Orleans Saints. Quarterback Jayden Daniels was phenomenal again, completing 25 of 31 passes for 226 yards and two touchdowns. Daniels also led Washington with 66 rushing yards on 11 attempts.

Other than Terry McLaurin, Daniels didn’t receive a lot of help. He was sacked eight times and dealt with injuries all around him. After Sunday’s performance, Daniels furthered his case for NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year.

Despite a furious late comeback attempt, Washington held off the Saints.

The Washington Commanders improved to 8-5 with Sunday’s 42-19 win over the Tennessee Titans. The win snapped a three-game losing streak. Quarterback Jayden Daniels completed 25 of 30 passes for 206 yards and three touchdowns in the win and rushed for a touchdown.

Daniels led a ground attack that ran for a season-high 267 yards, paced by Brian Robinson’s 103 yards. Chris Rodriguez came off the bench to deliver a career-high 94 yards. Both Robinson and Rodriguez also scored touchdowns.

Wide receiver Terry McLaurin also established a new career-high with nine touchdowns after catching two on Sunday.

The Pittsburgh Steelers improved to 7-2 by narrowly defeating the Washington Commanders (7-3) on Sunday at Northwest Stadium.

Washington had many chances to win, especially late, but mistakes prevented a fourth consecutive win. Jayden Daniels had his most inaccurate day as a pro, completing 17 of 34 passes. While Daniels was more off-target than normal, his receives dropped several passes.

When the Commanders stopped the Steelers with around one minute remaining, Pittsburgh’s offense returned to the field to try and draw Washington offsides. It worked, ending the game.
