Here’s what Russell Wilson will look like in a Broncos uniform

Russell Wilson is going to look good in orange and blue!

It’s finally happened — the Denver Broncos now have a franchise quarterback on their roster for the first time since Peyton Manning’s retirement in 2016.

Well, Russell Wilson actually isn’t on the roster just yet because Denver’s trade with the Seattle Seahawks won’t become official until next week. But the trade is going to happen — Wilson waived his no-trade clause to seal the deal.

Once the trade becomes official, Wilson will take No. 3 (available because the Broncos are trading Drew Lock to Seattle). Photoshops have shown that the veteran quarterback is going to look great in orange and blue.

Check it out:

Wilson will become the first QB in NFL history to join a team that he previously beat in a Super Bowl (the Seahawks dominated the Broncos 43-8 in Super Bowl XLVIII).

Wilson also hope to become the third QB in league history to win a Super Bowl with multiple teams, joining Peyton Manning and Tom Brady.

Graphic designer shares Photoshop of Henry Ruggs in a Broncos uniform

This is what Henry Ruggs would look like in a Broncos uniform.

Alabama wide receiver Henry Ruggs has been a popular pick for the Broncos in mock drafts and many fans in Denver would love to see him added to the team’s offense. Thanks to the graphic designer behind “NFL Jersey Swaps” on Instagram, we now know what Ruggs would look like in orange and blue:

Ruggs (5-11, 188 pounds) ran a 40-yard dash in 4.27 seconds and posted a vertical jump of 42 inches at the combine earlier this offseason. NFL.com’s Lance Zierlein has compared Ruggs to Ted Ginn, who was selected by the Miami Dolphins in the first round of the 2007 NFL draft.

Ruggs is widely considered one of the top three receivers in this year’s class, joining Jerry Jeudy and Ceedee Lamb. Any of those receivers would be good additions to a Broncos’ offense that features Drew Lock, Courtland Sutton, Noah Fant, Melvin Gordon and Phillip Lindsay.
