The Phoenix Suns (58-14) go for their sixth win in a row as they take on the Minnesota Timberwolves (42-31) on the road Wednesday night. Tip-off is 8 p.m. ET at Target Center. Below, we look at the Suns vs. Timberwolves odds and lines, and make our expert NBA picks, predictions and bets.

The Suns have clinched the Pacific Division title and hold a nine-game lead for the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference with 10 games left on their schedule. They have won five in a row and are 30-6 since the start of 2022.

The Timberwolves have won 10 of their last 12 games, but are coming off a 110-108 road loss to the Dallas Mavericks. The loss dropped them to seventh place in the Western Conference, one game behind the sixth-place Denver Nuggets.

Suns at Timberwolves odds, lines, picks and predictions

Prediction

Timberwolves 125, Suns 122

Money line

The Suns are playing great basketball, although they had to rally from a deficit to beat the Sacramento Kings in overtime Sunday. They have the league’s best road record at 28-6.

However, the Wolves are 24-12 at home and have won six straight there.

The Suns have won both meetings against Minnesota this season, including a 99-96 win on the road.

Both teams are playing very well but the Wolves have the more urgent situation, trying to get into the top six of the West, while the Suns have all but wrapped up the No. 1 seed, I LEAN TIMBERWOLVES (+100).

Against the spread

The Suns are 5-5 ATS in their last 10 games and had a four-game streak of covering the spread snapped in the OT win over the Kings. They are 21-13 ATS on the road this season.

The Timberwolves have covered the spread in eight of their last 10 games. They are 40-31-2 ATS overall and 21-14 ATS at home this season.

The Wolves covered the spread at home against the Suns when they lost by three points.

This game will be competitive. With a very small spread, this is more about who wins the game overall. There is a slightly better value on the money line, but here you can win even with a one-point loss. I LEAN TIMBERWOLVES +1.5 (-115).

Over/Under

BET OVER 237.5 (-112).

The Suns have averaged 131.2 points per game in their last five. The T-Wolves have averaged 126.4 in their last 12 games and have not scored less than 108. Even in their two losses in the last 12 games, they have scored 108 and 110 points.

Phoenix Suns at Sacramento Kings odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Sunday’s Phoenix Suns at Sacramento Kings odds and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Phoenix Suns (57-14) open a three-game road trip Sunday when they take on the Sacramento Kings (25-47). Tip-off for is 6 p.m. ET at Golden 1 Center. Below, we look at the Suns vs. Kings odds and lines, and make our expert NBA picks, predictions and bets.

The Suns own the league’s best record and they hold a nine-game lead in the Western Conference over the second-place Memphis Grizzlies. They have won their last four games and eight of their last 10. Phoenix has been on an offensive explosion during its win streak, having scored between 129-140 points in each of the four wins.

The Kings have only one win in their last seven games and three in their last 14. They have only one win at home since Feb. 12. They have split their two games this season against Phoenix. Sacramento is 13th place in the Western Conference, five games behind the 10th-place New Orleans Pelicans for the final spot for play-in games to determine the final two seeds of the conference for the playoffs.

Suns at Kings odds, lines, picks and predictions

Prediction

Suns 131, Kings 119

Money line

PASS on the money line unless you want to bet the Suns to win as part of a parlay bet.

The Suns are playing far too well to bet against and the Kings are struggling too much to pick for the upset. They have sneaked in a few wins over playoff-bound teams like their victory over the Chicago Bulls Monday, but that is not the norm. The Suns have the best road record in the league at 27-6. The price just makes a single bet on the Suns not worth your time.

PLAY: Free, daily sports pick’em contests. Play now!

Against the spread

The Suns have covered the spread in all four games across their four-game win streak. They have won each game by 16 points or more and their last five victories have been by at least 11 points.

The Kings are 5-4-1 ATS in their last 10 games but have failed to cover the spread in their last two games, both losses. They lost by 29 at home to the Boston Celtics Friday.

Expect the Suns to continue to their offensive roll, as the Kings allow the second-most points in the league.

Take the SUNS -8.5 (-122).

Over/Under

The Suns are averaging 132.3 points per game in their four-game win streak.

The Kings, on the season, give up 115.7 points per game.

The Kings were held under 100 points in their last game, but in their previous seven games, they scored an average of 115.1 points.

Take OVER 233.5 (-110).

Chicago Bulls at Phoenix Suns odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Friday’s Chicago Bulls at Phoenix Suns and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Phoenix Suns (56-14) host the Chicago Bulls (41-28) Friday at Footprint Center for a 10 p.m. ET tip-off. Below, we look at the Bulls vs. Suns odds and lines, and make our expert NBA picks, predictions and bets.

Chicago has lost back-to-back road games at the Sacramento Kings Monday (112-103) and the Utah Jazz Wednesday (125-110). The Bulls are 2-4 straight up (SU) and 1-5 against the spread (ATS) over the last two weeks.

Phoenix is 6-2 SU and 4-4 ATS in the last 14 days, which includes three consecutive double-digit victories entering Friday. However, all of those opponents had a losing record.

The Suns beat the Bulls in a 127-124 nail-biter in Chicago Feb. 7 but the Bulls covered as 6.5-point home underdogs.

Bulls at Suns odds, lines, picks and predictions

Prediction

Bulls 115, Suns 112

Money line

Slight LEAN to the BULLS (+180) because I like Chicago plus the points but I’m hesitant to back the Bulls against a quality opponent.

Chicago is 6-14 SU versus teams in the top-10 of net efficiency with a minus-7.6 adjusted net rating (ranked 22nd) according to CleaningTheGlass.com (CTG).

However, there’s significant reverse line movement (RLM) in both the ML and ATS markets for Bulls-Suns.

More than 90% of the cash is on the Suns according to Pregame.com, but they’ve gone from a -260 ML favorite on the opener down to the current number. It seems like the House is trying to goad more pro-Phoenix bets.

I’d also give Chicago’s half-court offense an edge over Phoenix’s sans CP3. The Bulls are right in front of the Suns in terms of fastbreak offensive efficiency atop the NBA.

PLAY: Free, daily sports pick’em contests. Play now!

Against the spread

The BULLS PLUS THE POINTS is my favorite wager in this game because of said RLM in the ATS market and neither team is profitable in this spot.

I can find nits to pick with either side but the Bulls need to bust out of a slump and Phoenix’s injury report is more worrisome than Chicago’s.

BET the BULLS +5.5 (-110) for 1 unit.

Over/Under

PASS because the situational trends and betting splits don’t provide a clue either way and this is a sharp total.

Chicago is 34-34-1 O/U (16-17-1 O/U on the road) and Phoenix is 36-33-1 O/U (22-15 O/U at home).

Phoenix Suns at Houston Rockets odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Wednesday’s Phoenix Suns at Houston Rockets odds and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Phoenix Suns (55-14) play the second game of a back-to-back Wednesday when they visit the Houston Rockets (17-51). Tip-off is 8 p.m. ET at Toyota Center. Below, we look at the Suns vs. Rockets odds and lines, and make our expert NBA picks, predictions and bets.

The Suns picked up a 131-115 home win over the New Orleans Pelicans Tuesday. They have won six of their last eight games and are the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference. Phoenix holds a 7.5-game lead in the conference with 13 regular-season games remaining on its schedule.

Houston is opening a four-game homestand. The Rockets have the worst record in the entire NBA. They have lost two in a row and 15 of their last 17 games. Houston is 0-3 straight up (SU) and 1-2 against the spread (ATS) against Phoenix this season.

Suns at Rockets odds, lines, picks and predictions

Prediction

Suns 125, Rockets 108

Money line

PASS on the money line.

The Suns have the best road record in the NBA at 26-6, while the Rockets have only 10 home wins all season. The Suns have swept the first three games of the season series.

The Rockets are a bad bet and betting the Suns doesn’t make sense because you have to wager seven times your potential return. The only way to bet the Suns on the money line is to include a Suns win in a parlay bet.

PLAY: Free, daily sports pick’em contests. Play now!

Against the spread

The Suns are 37-32 ATS overall this season but an impressive 20-12 ATS on the road. They have covered the spread in three of their last four games. They beat the Rockets by 12 or more in two of their three matchups this season.

The Rockets are 27-40-1 ATS overall and 12-20 ATS at home. They are 4-6 ATS in their last 10 games but have failed to cover the spread in three of their last four.

Take the SUNS -11.5 (-105).

Over/Under

The Suns have scored over 130 points in each of their last two games but only three of their last 11 games have had totals of more than 235 points, although their last two games have.

The Rockets have allowed 123 points or more in three of their last four. But only two of their last 10 games have finished with totals higher than 235.

Take UNDER 235.5 (-115).

Phoenix Suns at New Orleans Pelicans odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Tuesday’s Phoenix Suns at New Orleans Pelicans odds and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The New Orleans Pelicans (28-40) host the Phoenix Suns (54-14) Tuesday at the Smoothie King Center for an 8 p.m. ET tip-off. Below, we look at the Suns vs. Pelicans odds and lines, and make our expert NBA picks, predictions and bets.

Phoenix has won 3 of its last 4 games, which includes a 140-111 beatdown of the Los Angeles Lakers at home Sunday. The Suns are 5-2 straight up (SU) but just 3-4 against the spread (ATS) since March 2.

New Orleans snapped a 4-game losing skid (0-4 ATS) Sunday by crushing the Houston Rockets 130-105 at home. The Pelicans have regressed due to the injury of SF Brandon Ingram and SG C.J. McCollum being in health and safety protocols.

The Pelicans blasted the Suns 117-102 in Phoenix Feb. 25 as 6-point underdogs. However, Ingram and McCollum combined for 60 points on 20-for–35 shooting, but Ingram will miss Tuesday’s game.

Suns at Pelicans odds, spread and lines

Odds provided by Tipico Sportsbook; access USA TODAY Sports Scores and Sports Betting Odds hub for a full list. Lines last updated at 1:50 p.m. ET.

  • Money line (ML): Suns -190 (bet $190 to win $100) | Pelicans +155 (bet $100 to win $155)
  • Against the spread: Suns -4.5 (-110) | Pelicans +4.5 (-110)

[tipico]

Suns at Pelicans odds, lines, picks and predictions

Prediction

Suns 118, Pelicans 104

Money line

LEAN to the SUNS (-190).

Their implied win probability is 65.5% and Phoenix wins this game more than two-thirds of the time. The Suns are 20-3 SU as road favorites and the Pelicans are 8-16 SU as home underdogs.

More importantly, the Pelicans score 12.1 fewer points per 100 possessions with Ingram out, which grades in the 96th percentile of wings, according to CleaningTheGlass.com (CTG).

Ingram (22.8 points per game) is New Orleans’ second-leading scorer behind McCollum (27.1 PPG), who has only played 12 games for the Pelicans. McCollum actually has a minus-2.3 adjusted on/off net rating, per CTG.

I only LEAN SUNS (-190) because I’m confident enough in Phoenix to lay the points at a cheaper price.

PLAY: Free, daily sports pick’em contests. Play now!

Against the spread

BET SUNS -4.5 (-110) for 1 unit because Phoenix is 14-9 ATS as road favorites with a plus-4.8 ATS margin.

Also, the Suns should get retribution from the beatdown the Pelicans gave them in Phoenix in their second game after the All-Star break. NOLA outscored Phoenix in three of the four quarters and outperformed in three of the “four factors.”

But Phoenix head coach Monty Williams should have his guys better prepared to stop a New Orleans offense without its most versatile scorer.

The SUNS LAYING 4.5 POINTS (-110) is my favorite wager in this game.

Over/Under

LEAN UNDER 230.5 (-108) because everyone is betting the Over so the total has been increased 5 points from the opener and I think Phoenix’s defense locks up NOLA’s offense.

The Suns are 10-14 O/U as road favorites with a minus-4.0 total margin, which tells me Phoenix’s defense takes care of business on the road.

Los Angeles Lakers at Phoenix Suns odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Sunday’s Los Angeles Lakers at Phoenix Suns odds and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Los Angeles Lakers (29-37) face the Phoenix Suns (53-14) on the road Sunday night. Tip-off is 9 p.m. ET at Footprint Center. Below, we look at the Lakers vs. Suns odds and lines, and make our expert NBA picks, predictions and bets.

The Lakers are coming off a 122-109 Friday win over the Washington Wizards but only have three wins in their last 12 games. They are in ninth place in the Western Conference, which would put them in the play-in games to determine the final two seeds of the playoffs. They are 10 games behind the sixth-place Nuggets and have a 3-game lead in the play-in game race.

The Suns have already wrapped up a playoff berth and now seek to lock up the No. 1 seed in the West. They hold a 7.5-game lead over both the Memphis Grizzlies and Golden State Warriors. They lost their last game, a 117-112 defeat to the Toronto Raptors at home. They have beaten the Lakers twice this season already.

Lakers at Suns odds, lines, picks and predictions

Prediction

Suns 114, Lakers 110

Money line

PASS  on the money line in this game.

The Suns’ 28 home wins are the most in the NBA and the Lakers have only nine wins on the road. Only three teams have fewer.

The Suns have won both other meetings between the two teams and the Lakers are 3-9 in their last 12 games overall.

It doesn’t make sense to bet the Lakers and it’s too pricy to bet the Suns unless you include their money line in a parlay.

PLAY: Free, daily sports pick’em contests. Play now!

Against the spread

The Suns beat the Lakers by 10 and by 18 points in their two previous matchups against them this season.

However, they have only covered the spread in three of their last 10 games overall. They are only 16-20 ATS at home this season.

The Lakers are 13-17 ATS on the road this season. They are 4-5-1 ATS in their last 10 games overall.

The Lakers will likely keep this interesting.

Take the LAKERS +7.5 (-102).

Over/Under

The Lakers have averaged 119.4 points per game in their last five.

However, the Suns have allowed 107 points per game in their last six. They have held three opponents in the last six games to under 100 points.

Phoenix has averaged 113.6 points per game since the All-Star Break.

This won’t be as high-scoring as the projected total.

Take UNDER 230.5 (-112).

Toronto Raptors at Phoenix Suns odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Friday’s Toronto Raptors at Phoenix Suns odds and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Toronto Raptors (35-30) stop by Footprint Center Friday to play the Phoenix Suns (53-13) at 9 p.m. ET. Below, we look at the Raptors vs. Suns odds and lines, and make our expert NBA picks, predictions and bets.

Toronto snapped a 3-game losing skid Wednesday by beating the Spurs 119-104 in San Antonio as a 1-point road favorite. Since the All-Star break, the Raptors are 3-5 straight up (SU) and 2-6 against the spread (ATS).

Phoenix has won 4 of its last 5 games (4-1 ATS) including back-to-back road victories at the Orlando Magic Tuesday (102-99) and the Miami Heat Wednesday (111-90).

The Suns beat the Raptors 99-95 in Toronto in their first meeting this season Jan. 11 but failed to cover by a hook as 4.5-point road favorites.

Raptors at Suns odds, lines, picks and predictions

Prediction

Raptors 113, Suns 111

Money line

SPRINKLE on the RAPTORS (+165) with the plan of hitting their spread harder. I plan on fading the Suns in their games against quality, well-coached teams, and Toronto is such.

The Raptors have an elite point guard in All-Star Fred VanVleet, so CP3’s absence for the Suns should be felt in this spot. Toronto has the second-best defensive efficiency versus pick-and-roll (PnR) action through ball handlers and Phoenix runs the sixth-highest rate of PnR action through ball handlers.

Furthermore, Raptors head coach Nick Nurse is a known defensive wizard and it should be a lot easier for Nurse to confuse the Suns defensively considering they are without their floor general in Paul.

I’d also argue that Toronto’s best two players (VanVleet and PF Pascal Siakam) are better than Phoenix’s (All-Star SG Devin Booker and C Deandre Ayton).

Finally, there’s reverse-line movement (RLM) in Toronto’s direction as roughly 90% of the action is on Phoenix, according to Pregame.com. But the Raptors have been lowered from +220 ML underdogs on the opener and it’s a red flag whenever sportsbooks make the more popular side cheaper.

Again, I’d only SPRINKLE on RAPTORS (+165) if at all because Toronto’s spread is the much sharper play.

Against the spread

BET RAPTORS +4.5 (-105).

Toronto is 11-6 ATS on the road versus teams with a winning record and 12-10-1 ATS as a road underdog (plus-2.7 ATS margin). Phoenix is 4-8 ATS at home versus winning teams and 16-18 ATS as a home favorite.

RAPTORS +4.5 (-105) is my favorite wager in this game.

Over/Under

Slight LEAN to the OVER 221.5 (-115) because Toronto is 12-11 O/U as a road underdog, Phoenix is 19-15 O/U as a home favorite and both of these teams play more to the Over versus opponents with a winning record.

On top of that, the first Raptors-Suns meeting this season went Under the 222-point total by 28 points, so I’d prefer to fade that result.

Phoenix Suns at Miami Heat odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Wednesday’s Phoenix Suns at Miami Heat odds and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Phoenix Suns (52-13) travel to South Beach Wednesday to play the Miami Heat (44-22) for a 7:30 p.m. ET game at FTX Arena. Below, we look at the Suns vs. Heat odds and lines, and make our expert NBA picks, predictions and bets.

Phoenix has won three of its last four games but is just 4-3 straight up (SU) and 2-5 against the spread (ATS) since the All-Star break. The Suns eked past the Orlando Magic 102-99 Tuesday and failed to cover as 6-point road favorites.

Miami has won six of its last seven games following the All-Star game (6-1 ATS), which includes recent victories over current Eastern Conference top seeds in the Brooklyn Nets and Philadelphia 76ers.

The Heat roasted the Suns 123-100 in Phoenix Jan. 8 as 9.5-point road underdogs. Miami was missing F Jimmy Butler and big Bam Adebayo and attempted 14 fewer free throws while the Suns were at full health.

  • Money line: Suns +175 (bet $100 to win $175) | Heat -220 (bet $220 to win $100)
  • Against the spread (ATS): Suns +5.5 (-120) | Heat -5.5 (-105)
  • Over/Under (O/U): 218.5 (O: -108 | U: -112)

Suns at Heat odds, lines, picks and predictions

Prediction

Heat 115, Suns 105

Money line

PASS because Miami is the right side here but the Heat (-220) are far too expensive. The Suns also underperform on the second of back-to-backs and this is the healthiest the Heat have been all year.

Miami SG Victor Oladipo made his season debut in the Heat’s previous game against the Houston Rockets. Oladipo is on a minutes restriction but scored 11 points on 57.1% shooting in 14:38 minutes of action Monday.

PLAY: Free, daily sports pick’em contests. Play now!

Against the spread

BET the HEAT -5.5 (-105) for 1 unit because a majority of the action is on the Suns and there’s typically value in fading public underdogs.

Miami is very profitable when playing with a rest advantage and Phoenix is a bad bet when playing the second of a back-to-back. The Heat are an NBA-best 12-4 ATS with an edge in rest (plus-7.0 ATS margin) and the Suns are 4-6 ATS when playing on zero rest days (minus-5.2 ATS margin).

Miami is also 10-5 ATS when laying 5-7 points and 20-11 ATS when playing teams with a winning record. While Phoenix is 0-4 ATS as underdogs of 3 or greater and 11-13 ATS when playing teams with a winning record.

The HEAT LAYING 5.5 POINTS (-105) is my favorite wager in this game. However, I’d wait until closer to tip-off before betting Miami since money will come in on Phoenix after it announced All-Star G Devin Booker will return to action Wednesday.

Over/Under

PASS because both teams’ leading scorers are listed as “questionable” on the injury report.

If anything, I “lean” to the Over 218.5 (-108) because these teams have a combined 30-25 O/U record versus teams with a winning record and all three of the referees assigned to this game have officiated more Overs.

Phoenix Suns at Orlando Magic odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Tuesday’s Phoenix Suns at Orlando Magic odds and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Phoenix Suns (51-13) continue their three-game Eastern Conference road trip with a stop in Florida to face the Orlando Magic (16-49) Tuesday night. Tip-off is 7 p.m. ET at Amway Center. Below, we look at the Suns vs. Magic odds and lines, and make our expert NBA picks, predictions and bets.

The Suns continue to have the best record in the NBA, but they are 2-3 in their five games since the All-Star break. They are coming off a 10-point loss to the Milwaukee Bucks Sunday in a rematch of last year’s NBA Finals, but the Suns were without three of their top six players, including guards Devin Booker and Chris Paul. They have an eight-game lead over the second-place Memphis Grizzlies.

The Magic are in last place in the Eastern Conference but have won three of five games since the All-Star break. They last played Saturday, suffering a 124-96 loss to the Grizzlies.

Suns at Magic odds, spread and lines

Odds provided by Tipico Sportsbook; access USA TODAY Sports Scores and Sports Betting Odds hub for a full list. Lines last updated at 8:10 a.m. ET.

  • Money line: Suns -300 (bet $300 to win $100) | Magic +230 (bet $100 to win $230)
  • Against the spread (ATS): Suns -6.5 (-115) | Magic +6.5 (-107)
  • Over/Under (O/U): 222.5 (O: -115 | U: -107)

Suns at Magic odds, lines, picks and predictions

Prediction

Suns 113, Magic 102

Money line

PASS on the money line unless you are including it in a parlay. The Suns are the league’s No. 1 road team at 23-6. The Magic are the league’s worst home team at 7-22. That’s a bad combination.

And while the Suns are shorthanded, they are one of the deepest teams in the league, so there is no shortage of firepower. The Suns beat the Magic at home 132-105 Feb. 12.

As for the Magic’s recent wins, two of three came against the Houston Rockets and Indiana Pacers, two of the league’s worst teams this season.

PLAY: Free, daily sports pick’em contests. Play now!

Against the spread

The Suns have 51 wins straight-up wins this season but are 34-30 ATS on the season. They have failed to cover the spread in four of their last five games. However, they are a fantastic bet on the road at 18-11 ATS this season away from home.

The Magic are 29-36 ATS this season but 9-20 ATS at home. And in their last 10 games, they have only covered the spread once in a loss.

Take the SUNS -6.5 (-115).

Over/Under

The Magic average only 103.8 points per game this season, the third-lowest average in the league. They have not reached 100 points in their last two games, averaging 96.5 points.

In their matchup last month in Phoenix, the game had 237 points. However, the Suns are 20-15 O/U at home this season, while they are 12-16-1 O/U on the road.

Phoenix plays with a faster pace with Cameron Payne at the point, but ultimately Orlando won’t score enough to help push the total.

Take UNDER 222.5 (-107).

Phoenix Suns at Milwaukee Bucks odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Sunday’s Phoenix Suns at Milwaukee Bucks odds and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Phoenix Suns (51-12) meet the Milwaukee Bucks (39-25) Sunday in a rematch of last season’s NBA Finals. Tip-off at Fiserv Forum is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. ET (ABC). Below, we look at the Suns vs. Bucks odds and lines, and make our expert NBA picks, predictions and bets.

Phoenix is on a two-game win streak entering Sunday with home wins versus the Portland Trail Blazers Wednesday (120-90) and New York Knicks Friday (115-114). The Suns are 3-2 straight up (SU) and 2-3 against the spread (ATS) following the All-Star Game.

Milwaukee is on a three-game win streak (2-1ATS) with victories over the Charlotte Hornets (130-106 Monday), Miami Heat (120-119 Wednesday) and Chicago Bulls (118-112 Friday). The Bucks are 3-1 straight up (SU) and 2-2 ATS since the All-Star break.

The Suns smoked the Bucks 131-107 in Phoenix Feb. 10, easily covering as 3-point home favorites. However, the Suns will be without the injured G Chris Paul Sunday. Paul tied a season-high with 19 assists versus the Bucks last month.

Suns at Bucks odds, spread and lines

Odds provided by Tipico Sportsbook; access USA TODAY Sports Scores and Sports Betting Odds hub for a full list. Lines last updated at 7:11 a.m. ET.

  • Money line (ML): Suns +290 (bet $100 to win $290) | Bucks -380 (bet $380 to win $100)
  • Against the spread: Suns +7.5 (-108) | Bucks -7.5 (-112)
  • Over/Under (O/U): 230.5 (O: -115 | U: -107)

Suns at Bucks key injuries

Suns

  • SG Devin Booker (illness) out

  • PG Chris Paul (hand) out

Bucks

  • SG Pat Connaughton (finger) out

Suns at Bucks odds, lines, picks and predictions

Prediction

Bucks 121, Suns 108

Money line

PASS because the Bucks (-380) are clearly the right side but they are also far too expensive for an NBA regular-season ML favorite.

Milwaukee would need an off-shooting game plus Phoenix would need someone random to step up for the Suns (+290) to cash.

However, the Bucks should ultimately put a beating on the Suns who are without their two best players.

PLAY: Free, daily sports pick’em contests. Play now!

Against the spread

BET the BUCKS -7.5 (-112) for 1 unit for the obvious reasons. I’d play Milwaukee’s spread up to -8.5.

Not only are Booker and CP3 sidelined but Phoenix’s leading scorer from its thrilling 115-114 Friday victory against the Knicks is out. Johnson scored a career-high 38 points on 68.8% shooting (9-for-12 on 3-pointers).

The Suns would need Johnson (plus some) to have a chance of keeping pace with this lethal Bucks offense that has scored at least 118 points in each of their last five games.

The situation of a nationally televised matinee between last season’s conference winners almost ensures the BUCKS -7.5 (-112) will take care of business against the Suns.

Over/Under

PASS because Milwaukee likes to push the pace, hoist a ton of 3-pointers and spends a lot of time at the charity stripe.

However, it’s tough to predict what we see out of Phoenix’s offense or defense for that matter.
