Jake Paul will face Tommy Fury in a pay-per-view bout on Dec. 18 in Tampa, Florida.

Jake Paul’s next fight is set. And it could be his toughest to date.

The YouTuber-turned-boxer will face Tommy Fury, the half brother of heavyweight champ Tyson Fury, in a pay-per-view bout on Dec. 18 in Tampa, Florida.

Fury (7-0, 4 KOs) is the first genuine boxer Paul (4-0, 3 KOs) will have faced in his young career.

“I’m looking forward to my toughest challenge yet and continuing to prove the critics wrong,” Paul said. “’Fight a real boxer,’ they’ve said, and that is exactly what I’m doing. An undefeated boxer from the legendary Fury bloodline.

“However, this one is more than just boxing for me. It’s for America and showing the world there is no other country that gives you the opportunity to achieve whatever you set your mind to. It’s for every young person who has a dream and dedicates their life to achieving it. ”

Fury is a reality TV star in the U.K. but has more of a boxing background than Paul, with a reported 12 amateur fights and seven pro fights.

The native of Manchester is much smaller than his more famous 6-foot-9 sibling. Tommy Fury is 6-feet and weighs around 180 pounds. Paul is 6-1 and round 190.

“Jake Paul is about to learn a serious life lesson,” . This is my world, and he doesn’t belong here. I’m not one of these MMA men or basketball players. I have been boxing my whole life. On December 18th I will show the world the difference between a YouTuber and a real fighting man.

“Thanks to my promoter Frank Warren, Most Valuable Promotions and Showtime for giving me the opportunity to shut this clown up once and for all.”

Paul has defeated fellow YouTuber Ali Eson Gib, former NBA player Nate Robinson and former MMA fighters Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley, the last fighting taking place in August.

Fury has been busy this year. This will be his fourth fight of 2021.
