The latest mock draft by CBS Sports’ Josh Edwards has only four Crimson Tide players selected in the first round.
While there’s no way to know how many will actually be selected when it comes time for the first round, most mock drafts predict between five and six Alabama products being taken off the board on night No. 1.

There are plenty of former Alabama stars in the NFL, who are spread out all across the league. With the 2021 draft quickly approaching and mock drafts heating up, numerous teams could select another Alabama player to add to their roster.
The Cowboys already have former Alabama wide receiver Amari Cooper on their roster, but added former Crimson Tide cornerback Trevon Diggs in the second round of the 2020 NFL draft.
In his rookie season, Diggs played in 12 games where he recorded 14 pass deflections, three interceptions and a forced fumble.
Now, the Cowboys may look to add to their secondary by drafting another Alabama star, Patrick Surtain II.
Surtain recently spoke on the possibility of playing alongside Diggs in the NFL.

However, as Nick Saban and Co. enter their first season with a quarterback not named Tua Tagovailoa or Jalen hurts in the last four years, many are interested which players remain that can garner a lot of attention.

30. Jaylen Waddle, WR
Jaylen Waddle is one of two wide receivers remaining from Alabama’s elite squad of wide receivers – the two that entered the NFL draft were the first two receivers selected in the first round. Waddle is expected to also be a first round pick, but more importantly, is expected to be a leader on the 2020 Crimson Tide offense.
20. Patrick Surtain, CB
In 2019 Surtain recorded 42 tackles and two interceptions. He is also a member of this Alabama team that is a potential first-round pick. Surtain will be a name to watch throughout the season as a leader in the Alabama secondary.
