Georgia’s top running back recruit flips to FSU

Four-star RB, who committed to Georgia, flipped to Florida State in a signing day surprise

Four-star running back Ousmane Kromah has flipped from Georgia to Florida State. He will go back to the team that first offered him in 2021.

Kromah is the No. 4 running back recruit in the nation and was UGA’s top running back commitment. He committed to Georgia on Oct. 5, but had unofficially visited Florida State twice (in the Seminoles games against UNC and Florida). Kromah could make an immediate impact on the Seminoles’ running game, potentially competing for the lead back in 2025.

The Bulldogs lose out on a great running back prospect. They have signed three-star Bo Walker and are projected to return freshmen Nate Frazier, Wade Penn, Chauncy Bowens, and Dwight Phillips. Still, this loss hurts. Kromah was the tenth-ranked recruit in Georgia. Georgia may look to add another running back before national signing day or via the transfer portal.

With the early signing period underway, commitments still have a chance to flip to other schools. Georgia could convince other running back recruits to do the same.

Hugh Freeze, Auburn pursuing Georgia RB commit

Auburn and head coach Hugh Freeze are making a late push for Georgia Bulldogs RB commit

Four-star running back Ousmane Kromah from Lee County (Leesburg, Georgia) made a visit to the Auburn Tigers over the weekend.

The No. 4 running back in the nation, Kromah arrived on Auburn’s campus Saturday and stayed through Sunday afternoon. The four-star Georgia commit was in attendance at Jordan-Hare Stadium Saturday night to witness the Tigers’ thrilling four-overtime victory against No. 15 Texas A&M.

A late visit to Auburn should not be taken lightly. The Tigers and coach Hugh Freeze have been known to flip recruits before the early signing period.

Kromah and Bo Walker are Georgia’s two running back commitments in the 2025 cycle. Kirby Smart and Georgia have the No. 1 recruiting class in the country.

The four-star running back has an excellent combination of speed and balance. Keeping Kromah in this recruiting class is key. Kromah and Nate Frazier would make a very good future tandem at running back.

Five-star CB Na’eem Offord plans surprise visit to the Plains

Will Auburn close the deal and flip the top in-state recruit from his pledge to Ohio State?

The Early Signing Period is less than two weeks away, and Auburn has been given the opportunity to win over one of the top recruits in the nation.

[autotag]Na’eem Offord[/autotag], Alabama’s top recruit from the 2025 recruiting cycle, is paying a visit to the Plains for Auburn’s game with No. 14 Texas A&M on Saturday, giving [autotag]Hugh Freeze[/autotag] another opportunity to flip Offord from his pledge to Ohio State.

According to a report from Christian Clemente of Auburn Undercover, Offord’s visit surprises Auburn’s coaching staff as his name was not originally on the visitors list for Saturday’s game. Saturday will also mark the fourth time the five-star CB from Birmingham has visited Auburn this season.

Offord joins four-star RB and Georgia pledge [autotag]Ousmane Kromah[/autotag] and three-star RB [autotag]Zion Johnson[/autotag] as 2025 recruits who are taking unofficial visits to Auburn this weekend while five 2025 recruits, including five-star DL Justus Terry, are on official visits according to Auburn Undercover.

Offord is the No. 11 recruit from the 2025 cycle according to 247Sports, and is the No. 2 cornerback in addition to being the No. 1 recruit from Alabama. Auburn holds a “flip” prediction from 247Sports national recruiting analyst Tom Loy. Will Auburn close the deal this weekend?
