While Orlando has been the far better team this season, Atlanta has gotten hot at home, winning six of their previous seven games at State Farm Arena. Still, the Magic have the top-ranked defense in the NBA and should be able to hold down the Hawks to get the win in Atlanta.
Line/Against the Spread (ATS)
The MAGIC (-2.5, -110) are one-basket favorites and will need to win by just 3 points to cover the spread. Both sides have struggled against the spread this season, but it’s the Magic who are currently in the midst of a bigger cold streak. Over their last 13 games, they have been able to cover the spread just three times. With this spread set so low and the Magic being the better team, I’m taking them to win and cover.
Over/Under (O/U)
The total for this Eastern Conference matchup is set for 229.5 points, which feels a bit high considering how dominant Orlando’s defense has been this season.
