The No. 17 Oklahoma Sooners (9-0) battle the Oklahoma State Cowboys (6-2) at Paycom Center in Oklahoma City Saturday. Tip-off is set for 8 p.m. ET (ESPNU). Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s college basketball odds around the Oklahoma vs. Oklahoma State odds, and make our expert college basketball picks and predictions.

Oklahoma is No. 17 in the USA TODAY Sports Men’s Basketball Coaches Poll. The Sooners, who won the Battle 4 Atlantis earlier this season, beat the Alcorn State Braves 94-78 Dec. 7, closing as 31-point home favorites. They have yet to lose, but haven’t necessarily covered that consistently, at just 5-4 against the spread (ATS) on the season.

The Cowboys are coming off an 85-76 road win to Seton Hall Sunday, closing as 1.5-point favorites. They have won 2 straight games, both on the road. Oklahoma State lost 2 of 3 in the Shriners Children’s Charleston Classic, its early-season tournament. It is 1-2 ATS on a neutral court and 3-5ATS on the season.

Oklahoma vs. Oklahoma State picks and predictions

Prediction

Oklahoma 81, Oklahoma State 75

Moneyline

PASS.

Oklahoma should come out on top and has proven itself this season, but it is too expensive to play here. The Cowboys aren’t worth the risk as plus-money underdogs, either.

Against the spread

BET OKLAHOMA -4.5 (-105).

The Sooners have had 3 games close within a single-digit spread, and they are 2-1 ATS in those and 3-0 straight up. Oklahoma is also 2-1 ATS in a neutral-court atmosphere and 3-1 ATS in its last 4.

The Cowboys have lost 2 of their last 5. They are 1-2 ATS on a neutral-court environment and 1-2 ATS as underdogs. Back OKLAHOMA -4.5 (-105).

Over/Under

BET OVER 153.5 (-105).

The Cowboys are 5-3 O/U on the season and 4-2 O/U in their last 6, scoring at least 76 points in every game this season. They have allowed at least 86 in 2 of 3 games as underdogs.

The Sooners are 5-4 O/U and have scored at least 79 points in 2 of their 3 neutral-court battles. Oklahoma is 2-1 O/U in those games and 3-2 O/U in its last 5. Take OVER 153.5 (-105).

Oklahoma State at Colorado odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Friday’s Oklahoma State at Colorado odds and lines, with college football expert picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”4141″ ]

The Oklahoma State Cowboys (3-8, 0-8 Big 12) take on the Colorado Buffaloes (8-3, 6-2) at Folsom Field Friday. Kickoff is set for noon ET (ABC). Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s college football odds around the Oklahoma State vs. Colorado odds, and make our expert college football picks and predictions.

The Cowboys have lost 8 straight games after Texas Tech wiped them out 56-48 Saturday. They failed to cover as 4.5-point dogs. QB Maealiuaki Smith was 26-for-36 for 326 yards, 2 TDs and 1 INT. He also ran in a touchdown. RB Ollie Gordon rushed 15 times for 156 yards and 3 TDs, and he caught 3 balls for 30 yards.

The Buffs were euthanized by Kansas 37-21 Saturday, effectively ending their playoff hopes. They couldn’t stop Kansas RB Devin Neal, who rushed 37 times for 207 yards and 3 TDs. Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders was great, going 23-for-29 for 266 yards and 3 TDs. He connected with WR Travis Hunter 8 times for 125 yards and 2 TDs. The defeat dropped Colorado out of the top 25.

Oklahoma State at Colorado picks and predictions

Prediction

Colorado 38, Oklahoma State 24

Moneyline

There is some concern that Colorado would take its foot off the gas with no playoff hopes, but Coach Prime has said that his sons and Hunter would play in a potential bowl game. So Colorado should win, but this number is way too high.

I think Sanders’ passing number is, too. Take SHEDEUR SANDERS UNDER 334.5 PASSING YARDS (-115). He has only topped this number once in the last 5 games.

Against the spread

Oklahoma State is really bad this year. The Cowboys are just 2-8 ATS in their last 10, but they had an impressive cover at BYU and destroyed Tulsa. I think they’ll show up and cover the lofty spread. Take OKLAHOMA STATE +16.5 (-110).

Play our free daily Pick’em Challenge and win! Play now!

Over/Under

OK State is 7-4 O/U this season, and Colorado is 6-4-1. After it put up 48 on Texas Tech, I’ve gained confidence in Oklahoma State’s offense, but 66.5 is a monstrous number. It falls just short.

LEAN UNDER 66.5 (-110).

Oklahoma State at BYU odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Friday’s Oklahoma State at BYU odds and lines, with college football expert picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”4141″ ]

The Oklahoma State Cowboys (3-3, 0-3 Big 12) and No. 13 BYU Cougars (6-0, 3-0) meet Friday. Kickoff from LaVell Edwards Stadium is scheduled for 10:15 p.m. ET (ESPN). Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s college football odds around the Oklahoma State vs. BYU odds, and make our expert college football picks and predictions.

The Cowboys have lost 3 straight games and are winless in conference play. They’re coming off a bye, but lost 38-14 at home to West Virginia Oct. 5 as 3-point favorites. The Under (64.5) cashed in.

The Cougars, who are No. 13 in the US LBM Coaches Poll, enter this week undefeated. As 2.5-point home favorites Saturday, they blew out Arizona 41-19 with the Over (48) cashing in. The defense picked off Arizona QB Noah Fifita 3 times, while BYU QB Jake Retzlaff was 18-of-32 passing for 218 yards with 2 TDs.

Oklahoma State at BYU picks and predictions

Prediction

BYU 38, Oklahoma State 20

Moneyline

Oklahoma State is averaging 17.7 points per game in Big 12 play and has not scored more than 20 in a conference game, while BYU (-350) has scored at least 34 in every Big 12 matchup and in 5 of 6 games overall this season.

BYU is allowing only 16.3 points per game this season.

BYU should come away victorious, but with a price of -350 on the moneyline, it is not worth your time.

PASS.

Against the spread

Four of BYU’s 6 games have been double-digit wins, and its average margin of victory in 3 home games is 26.3 points.

Oklahoma State has lost by more than 20 points in 2 of 3 conference games.

BET BYU -9.5 (-110).

Over/Under

Four of BYU’s 6 games this season have surpassed 52 total points. Four of the Cowboys’ games have also surpassed 52 total points, but 2 of their 3 conference games have not.

Oklahoma State’s last 2 opponents scored 38 or more points.

As BYU is already scoring 37.7 points per game in conference play, if the Cowboys get more than 2 TDs, that should be enough for the Over.

BET OVER 52.5 (-110).

West Virginia at Oklahoma State odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Saturday’s West Virginia at Oklahoma State odds and lines, with college football expert picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”4141″ ]

The West Virginia Mountaineers (2-2, 1-0 Big 12) visit the Oklahoma State Cowboys (3-2, 0-2) Saturday afternoon. Kick from Boon Pickens Stadium is scheduled for 4 p.m. ET (ESPN2). Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s college football odds around the West Virginia vs. Oklahoma State odds, and make our expert college football picks and predictions.

West Virginia got back in the win column Sept. 21 with a 32-28 win over Kansas while covering as a 1-point home favorite. QB Garrett Greene went 15-of-30 for 295 yards with 2 touchdowns and 2 interceptions while also leading the team in rushing with 17 carries for 87 yards and a TD. His top receiver was WR Hudson Clement, who had 7 receptions for 150 yards.

Oklahoma State has lost back-to-back games after falling 42-20 to Kansas State last week while failing to cover as a 6-point road underdog. QB Alan Bowman went 26-of-50 for 364 yards with a TD and 2 interceptions with his top receiver, WR De’Zhaun Stribling, hauling in 7 receptions for 157 yards and a TD.

West Virginia at Oklahoma State picks and predictions

Prediction

Oklahoma State 38, West Virginia 31

Moneyline

PASS.

There is better value on the Oklahoma State (-150) spread.

Against the spread

BET OKLAHOMA STATE -3 (-110).

While the Cowboys were taken down by Kansas State last week, they went into halftime down by just 1 point. Expect them to bounce back with a vengeance this week in front of their home crowd to snap their losing streak. West Virginia is coming off of a long rest, which may make the game interesting, but Oklahoma State will prevail with enough room to cover.

Over/Under

LEAN OVER 64.5 (-110).

This is a high Over, however both teams are more than capable of hitting it. The Mountaineers have scored 32 points or more in each of their last 3 games, hitting the Over in each game, and allowing 28 points or more in back-to-back weeks.

Oklahoma State has scored 39 or more points in 3 of its 5 games while allowing 31 points in 2 of its last 4. In what should be a back-and-forth game, expect a lot of scoring.

Utah at Oklahoma State odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Saturday’s Utah Utes at Oklahoma State Cowboys odds and lines, with college football expert picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The Utah Utes (3-0) and Oklahoma State Cowboys (3-0) meet Saturday in the Big 12 opener for both teams. Kickoff from Boone Pickens Stadium is set for 4 p.m. ET (FOX). Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s college football odds around the Utah vs. Oklahoma State odds, and make our expert college football picks and predictions.

Utah, the No. 10 in the US LBM Coaches Poll, picked up a 38-21 win over the Utah State Aggies Saturday while failing to cover as a 20-point favorite. The Utes dominated time of possession 37:18 to 22:42 in the win.

Oklahoma State, which is No. 15 in the US LBM Coaches Poll, destroyed the Tulsa Golden Hurricane 45-10 Saturday while covering as a 17.5-point favorite. The Cowboys had 560 yards of offense while holding the Golden Hurricane to 352 total yards.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3012″ ]

Utah at Oklahoma State picks and predictions

Prediction

Utah 30, Oklahoma State 24

Moneyline

BET UTAH (+115).

Utah’s biggest advantage against the Cowboys comes in the defense. The Utes allow only 252.7 yards per game while the Cowboys allow a whopping 462.7 YPG.

Oklahoma State does have the better offense, but the gap there is much smaller than the defensive gap, so expect the Utes to pick up the win in this battle of top-15 teams.

Against the spread

PASS.

I expect the Utes to cover here as +2.5 (-105) underdogs because of their large defensive advantage, but I am not a fan of doubling down on a team’s moneyline and spread bets.

I recommend betting on the moneyline and/or total here, but if you feel like you need a little insurance it’s foine to divvy up units between the spread and ML.

Over/Under

BET OVER 52.5 (-110).

Both squads have offenses that average over 420 yards and 36 points per game, so the Over is an extremely safe bet here. Oklahoma State also has among the worst defenses in the Big 12 as it allows 20.3 points per game, and I expect Utah to beat that 20.3 points number as the Utes are the stiffest competition the Cowboys have faced.

The Over is also 2-1 for Oklahoma State this season.

Oklahoma State at Tulsa odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Saturday’s Oklahoma State at Tulsa odds and lines, with college football expert picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The Oklahoma State Cowboys (2-0) pay a visit to the Tulsa Golden Hurricane (1-1) Saturday. Kickoff from Chapman Stadium is set for noon ET (ESPN 2). Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s college football odds around the Oklahoma State vs. Tulsa odds, and make our expert college football picks and predictions.

Oklahoma State escaped with a 39-31 win in 2OT vs. Arkansas last Saturday but failed to cover as a 10-point home favorite. The Cowboys were out-gained 648-385 in total yards but forced 3 turnovers to complete the comeback after trailing 21-7 at the half. Oklahoma State is No. 14 in the US LBM Coaches Poll.

Tulsa suffered a 28-24 loss at the Arkansas State Red Wolves Saturday but covered as a 9-point underdog. The Golden Hurricane held a 17-7 lead going into half but would come out and allow 3 touchdowns in the 3rd quarter while scoring only 1 themselves. Neither team would score in the final quarter.

Oklahoma State at Tulsa picks and predictions

Prediction

Oklahoma State 42, Tulsa 24

Moneyline

PASS.

The Cowboys (-1000) will pick up the win, but the juice is set far too heavy to risk betting on. Bet on the spread and/or total instead.

Against the spread

BET OKLAHOMA STATE -17 (-115).

Oklahoma State is simply the much better team and will be able to take a lead here early. With RB Ollie Gordon II, the Cowboys will be able to run the air out of the ball to chew the clock and keep that commanding lead that will see them cover as heavy favorites.

The Cowboys are also 4-2 ATS in their 6 meetings with Tulsa since 2010.

Over/Under

LEAN OVER 63 (-110).

Tulsa’s defense has not done well as it has allowed 28 points in each of its first 2 games, and with this being its biggest test thus far, I expect that to continue.

Oklahoma State has also proven that its defense will give up both points and yards as it has allowed over 1,000 yards and 51 points in just 2 games to start the season. The Over has also hit in each of the Cowboys’ 2 games this year.

This is a lean because an Over number of 63 is a bit high, especially when one team is so much better than the other.

Arkansas at Oklahoma State odds, picks and predictions

The Arkansas Razorbacks (1-0) and Oklahoma State Cowboys (1-0) meet Saturday with kickoff from Boone Pickens Stadium set for noon ET (ABC/ESPN+). Below, we analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Arkansas vs. Oklahoma State odds, and make our expert college football picks and predictions.

Arkansas destroyed the Arkansas-Pine Bluff Golden Lions 70-0 on Aug. 29 while covering as a 50.5-point favorite. RB Ja’Quinden Jackson rushed for 101 yards and 2 TDs on only 8 carries in the win. The Razorbacks racked up 687 total yards while allowing only 130 in their season opener.

Oklahoma State beat the South Dakota State Jackrabbits 44-20 Saturday while covering as 13-point favorites. RB Ollie Gordon II got 28 carries that he took for 126 yards and 3 TDs. The Cowboys defense allowed a staggering 388 yards to the Jackrabbits.

Arkansas at Oklahoma State picks and predictions

Prediction

Oklahoma State 35, Arkansas 31

Moneyline

PASS.

The Cowboys should pick up the win here as -300 favorites, but this line is not worth the risk of betting on. Bet on the spread and/or total instead.

Against the spread

BET ARKANSAS +7.5 (-110).

I like the Razorbacks to cover and make this a close game simply because of the power of their offense, which showed its potential in its season opener. While that did come against an inferior opponent, the offensive talent on this squad is undeniable.

Look for Arkansas’ offense to see a lot of success vs. this Cowboys defense en route to making this a very fun game to watch.

Over/Under

BET OVER 62.5 (-110).

Each squad has outstanding offensive talent, and Oklahoma State’s defense showed no signs in the opener of being able to contain an Arkansas offense that looked unstoppable in its season opener. Arkansas’ defense is an unknown, but I don’t expect either squad to be able to stop the other, so the Over is a safe bet here. Each team hit the Over hit in the 1st game.

Kickoff from Boone Pickens Stadium is scheduled for 2 p.m. ET (ESPN+). Below, we analyze FanDuel Sportsbook’s lines around the South Dakota State vs. Oklahoma State odds, and make our expert college football picks and predictions.

South Dakota finished 15-0 last season atop the Missouri Valley Conference and won the FCS National Title. In had just 2 games decided by fewer than 10 points.

Oklahoma State finished 10-4 last season including 7-2 in the Big 12, good for 2nd overall behind the Texas Longhorns, who it fell to in the Big 12 Championship game. It topped off its season with a 31-23 win over Texas A&M in the Texas Bowl.

South Dakota State at Oklahoma State picks and predictions

Prediction

Oklahoma State 38, South Dakota State 20

Moneyline

PASS.

There is no value on Oklahoma State (-365) to take down the Jackrabbits (+285) on opening day.

Against the spread

BET OKLAHOMA STATE -9.5 (-120).

While South Dakota State is the top FCS school in the nation currently and is returning QB Mark Gronowski, it will be unable to compete against an Oklahoma State team that fell just 4 times last season. In front of its home crowd, expect the Cowboys to dominate on both ends of the ball. A quick start for the Cowboys is all it will take to bury the Jackrabbits.

Over/Under

LEAN OVER 54.5 (-110).

While the Cowboys will be expected to dominate on Saturday and will be forced to carry a majority of the load, South Dakota State is capable of finding the end zone. Gronowski is a dual-threat QB which will open up opportunities for his squad to score. The total may come down to garbage time, but both teams are more than able to reach it.

The West Virginia Mountaineers (4-2, 2-1 Big 12) welcome the Oklahoma State Cowboys (4-2, 2-1) to Mountaineer Field at Milan Puskar Stadium Saturday. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. ET (ESPN). Below, we analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Oklahoma State vs. West Virginia odds, and make our expert college football picks and predictions.

Oklahoma State beat the Kansas Jayhawks 39-32 in Week 7, covering as a 3-point home underdog. It won its last 2 games, both as an underdog and is 2-1 against the spread (ATS) as an underdog this season. The Cowboys are 1-1 ATS on the road and 3-3 ATS overall. They are led by RB Ollie Gordon II, who has 534 rushing yards through 6 games.

Oklahoma State at West Virginia picks and predictions

Prediction

West Virginia 27, Oklahoma State 21

Moneyline

PASS.

The value is on the spread given the expensive value put on West Virginia to win outright.

Against the spread

BET WEST VIRGINIA -3 (-115).

Oklahoma State is 1-1 ATS on the road this season. However, the strength here is how good West Virginia is at home.

It is 3-0 ATS at home with wins over Pitt and Duquesne as a favorite and a 7-point win over Texas Tech as a 6.5-point underdog. The Mountaineers are 2-1 ATS in conference play as well.

Their strength at home and against conference opponents make them the play here. Back WEST VIRGINIA -3 (-115).

Over/Under

LEAN UNDER 49.5 (-110).

West Virginia is 3-3 O/U this season and has scored 24 or fewer points in 3 of its last 4 games. Against Power 5 opponents, it has 2-3 O/U and has topped 24 in just 1 of 5 games.

Oklahoma State is 2-4 O/U and has scored 30 or fewer in 5 of 6. It has allowed 21 or fewer in 3 of 6 as well.

Neither team has had an offense that has consistently topped 30 points per game, and both teams have solid defenses. Couple that with the trends and back the UNDER 49.5 (-110).

Kansas at Oklahoma State odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Saturday’s Kansas at Oklahoma State odds and lines, with college football expert picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The No. 24 Kansas Jayhawks (5-1, 2-1 Big 12) and Oklahoma State Cowboys (3-2, 1-1) meet Saturday at Boone Pickens Stadium. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. ET (FS1). Below, we analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Kansas vs. Oklahoma State odds, and make our expert college football picks and predictions.

Kansas covered the spread as a 1.5-point home underdog in a 51-22 win vs. the UCF Knights as the Over (64.5) hit last Saturday. RB Devin Neal logged 12 carries for 154 yards, and RB Daniel Hishaw Jr. rushed for 134 yards and 2 TDs.

Oklahoma State won straight up as an 11.5-point home underdog in a 29-21 victory vs. the Kansas State Wildcats as the Under (54) cashed Oct. 6. The Cowboys bounced back after losing and failing to cover in their previous 2 games.

The last time these teams met, Kansas covered as a 3-point home favorite with a 37-16 win as the Under (61) hit Nov. 5, 2022. Oklahoma State had won the previous 12 meetings.

Kansas is No. 24 in the US LBM Coaches Poll powered by USA TODAY Sports.

Kansas at Oklahoma State picks and predictions

Prediction

Kansas 27, Oklahoma State 24

Moneyline

KANSAS (-150) showed last time out it can still win when QB Jalon Daniels is out. Daniels (back) missed his 2nd straight game last Saturday and is doubtful to return vs. the Cowboys.

Oklahoma State has been underwhelming and has failed to score 30 points in a single game this season. Kansas’ run game should shine for a 2nd straight week and look like the better side vs. this poor Cowboys offense.

BET KANSAS (-150).

Against the spread

The real goal here would’ve been to get Oklahoma State +3.5 (-110) at open. Unfortunately, most of the value is gone here.

PASS. Bet the moneyline and/or the total instead.

Over/Under

The Under has hit in 4 of Oklahoma State’s 5 games this season. Between Daniels sitting and the Cowboys’ inability to score 30 or more points, I don’t trust either team to help the Over cash. While this would’ve been a much better play when it opened at 58, the Under should still cash in this Big 12 Conference battle.

BET UNDER 56.5 (-115).
