Four former Ohio State players and other NFL stars post powerful George Floyd video

Four former Ohio State players joined several other NFL stars in posting a powerful George Floyd video.

Seemingly the whole world is protesting over the tragic killing of George Floyd while in police custody just a little over a week ago, and the sports world is no different. Hopefully, some real change will come as a result of all the words, actions, and groundswell of support that is taking hold in this country and around the world.

The NFL has also gotten into the act. Truth be known, there wouldn’t be an NFL today without the inclusion of black athletes, or at least not nearly the product that it’s become.

Many stars of the league banded together and made a compelling, move to action video. In it, several household league names take turns asking “What if I were George Floyd?” All told, there are eighteen players that appear in the video, with four of them being former Ohio State players.

Ezekiel Elliott, Marshon Lattimore, Michael Thomas, and Chase Young all took time out to contribute to the video, which you can watch for yourself below.

In addition to the former OSU players, The following all took part: Patrick Mahomes, Davante Adams, Jamal Adams, Saquon Barkley, Anthony Barr, Odell Beckham, Ezekiel Elliott, Stephon Gilmore, DeAndre Hopkins, Eric Kendricks, Jarvis Landry, Marshon Lattimore, Tyrann Mathieu, Patrick Peterson, Sterling Shepard, Michael Thomas, Deshaun Watson and Chase Young.

Many current, former, and future Buckeyes have spoken out since the tragic event, and it’s great to see those at the next level doing it as well.

Every Ohio State player currently on an NFL active roster post 2020 NFL Draft

Ohio State has players littered all across active NFL rosters. Here’s a look at all of them after things have settled from the NFL draft.

Since we’re now past the 2020 NFL Draft and the signings of several undrafted free agents, it feels like a great time to check in with where all the former Ohio State football players are when it comes to the various rosters of NFL teams.

We’ve got some new additions through the draft, those that were traded to other teams, and still more that have signed free-agent deals or left teams for other reasons. We’ll warn you; it’s a lot. There are enough former Buckeyes to almost fill out an entire NFL roster at each and every position.

Keep in mind some of this will change when rosters are cut down, but as of right now, our math says there are a total of 60 players all taking part that learned their trade on the banks of the Olentangy.

So here we go. A complete list of former Ohio State players on active NFL rosters, broken down by division, conference, and team.
