Ohio State’s bowl history over the last twenty years

Ohio State is almost a lock to go to a big money bowl every single year. Here is a look at how it all played out over the last twenty years.

Ohio State has a long and illustrious bowl history. It’s one of the few programs that has been a part of almost every major bowl, but it’s more than that. From a slew of Rose Bowls, to BCS Bowls, to the College Football Playoff and the Florida bowl circuit, many locations love having the Buckeyes and their fans descend on their city and state to throw a massive postseason college football party.

We decided to take a journey through the last twenty years of bowl history for the Scarlet and Gray, and we’re starting off from the year 2000 through last year’s Fiesta Bowl heartbreak.

And yeah, there will be another bowl this year, and we can only hope that its another appearance out West among the Roses, or in the Sugar Bowl as a part of all the Playoff fun.

So off we go. Believe it or not, one of the few years OSU didn’t go to a bowl game was a forgettable year in 1999, so no bowl game in 2000, or the year in which OSU sat in the penalty box because of NCAA sanctions after the 2012 season.
