Ohio State issues availability report for matchup with Tulsa

Here’s who will not be available for the game against Tulsa. A couple of the listings are surprising. #GoBucks

As they do every week just prior to game time, the fine folks with the Ohio State football team have issued the availability report for the game against Tulsa. We sometimes get surprised by what comes out, and that’s the case here.

Center Harry Miller is still out, and we knew about the season-ending injury to safety Josh Proctor, but it looks like defensive end Zach Harrison will also be unavailable for today’s game. Look for either Jack Sawyer or J.T. Tumioloau to get more action in place of Harrison who has one sack and seven tackles on the year. Surprisingly, linebacker Teradja Mitchell is also a game-time decision, so hold tight on that one as well.

Here is the rest of the availability report.

Game-Time Decision

  • LB Teradja Mitchell

Unavailable

  • WR Kamryn Babb
  • RB Marcus Crowley
  • DE Tyler Friday
  • DE Zach Harrison
  • OL Jakob James
  • BUL Jaylen Johnson
  • OL Trey Leroux
  • LB Mitchell Melton
  • OL Harry Miller
  • DL Noah Potter
  • SAF Josh Proctor
  • OL Ryan Smith
  • OL Toby Wilson

The unavailability of Miller means Luke Wypler will likely get his third-straight start at center. It’ll be interesting to see how Sevyn Banks and others fit into the game plan now with the poor defensive performance against Oregon last weekend.

Ohio State and Tulsa will kick off at 3:30 p.m. EDT.

Ohio State issues availability report for matchup with Oregon

Here’s who won’t be available for the game against Oregon. Not a bad list, but still some key names in doubt. #GoBucks

As they do every week just prior to game time, the fine folks with the Ohio State football team have issued the availability report for the game against Oregon. It’s not a bad list for a game one week after the season, but there are some notable names that are either game-time decisions or unavailable for Saturday’s top fifteen matchup.

Center Harry Miller is still out, and it looks as though defensive lineman Jerron Cage and safety Josh Proctor are game-time decisions. However, corners Cameron Brown and Sevyn Banks are good to go for the contest based on the report. Here is the complete update from the Ohio State Athletic Department.

Game-Time Decision

  • DT Jerron Cage
  •  DB Jantzen Dunn
  •  SAF Josh Proctor

Unavailable

  •  WR Kamryn Babb
  •  DE Tyler Friday
  •  OL Jakob James
  •  BUL Jaylen Johnson
  •  OL Trey Leroux
  •  LB Mitchell Melton
  •  OL Harry Miller
  •  DL Noah Potter
  •  OL Ryan Smith
  •  OL Toby Wilson

The unavailability of Miller means Luke Wypler will likely get the start again at center after performing well in Minneapolis. If Sevyn Banks can’t go, expect Denzel Burke to be a big part of the game again. He’ll likely still be a part of the rotation.

Ohio State and Oregon will do battle at noon EDT in a nationally televised broadcast on FOX.

We are getting close. Here are the players that won’t be available for the game against Minnesota Thursday night.

The fine folks with the Ohio State football team have issued the availability report for the game against Minnesota, and there are a few notable names that will not be taking part in game No. 1.

Offensive lineman Harry Miller and cornerback Cameron Brown are the most significant names listed as unavailable. Here is the complete update from the Ohio State Athletic Department.

Game-Time Decision

Unavailable

  • WR Kamryn Babb

  • SAF Jantzen Dunn
  • DE Tyler Friday

The unavailability of Miller means the offensive line we saw practicing for a lot of fall camp will need to be reshuffled. There will either be movement up and down the line, or presumed backup Luke Wypler could step in and take his place.

Ohio State and Minnesota will face off at 8 p.m EDT in a nationally televised broadcast on FOX.
