The fourth of five women’s major championships is here as the best players in the world have made their way to Evian-les-Bains, France, for the 2023 Amundi Evian Championship at Evian Resort Golf Club.

Last year’s champion Brooke Henderson comes into the week in great form, totaling three top-15 finishes in her last four starts, including the U.S. Women’s Open and KPMG Women’s PGA Championship.

Hyo Joo Kim, the 8th-ranked player in the world, is the betting favorite at +1200 (12/1). She’s yet to win in 2023, however, she’s finished inside the top 20 in nine of her 10 LPGA starts this year. Kim tied for third at the Evian last season.

2023 3M Open odds, course history and picks to win

Poston has two T-6 finishes in his last three starts and tied for 11th at the 3M Open last year.

After the year’s final men’s major championship, the PGA Tour is back stateside for the 2023 3M Open at TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minnesota.

Tony Finau, who has missed the cut in two straight starts including last week’s Open, enters as the defending champion. He beat Emiliano Grillo and Sungjae Im by three shots last season.

Justin Thomas has fallen to 24th in the Official World Golf Ranking and 75th in the FedEx Cup Standings. In a last-second push to make the playoffs — and to make Ryder Cup Captain Zach Johnson’s job easier for Rome — Thomas is making his 3M Open debut. In his last six starts, Thomas has missed four cuts, tied for 60th at the Genesis Scottish Open and for ninth at the Travelers Championship. The top 70 players in the point standings make it to the FedEx St. Jude Championship in Memphis (Aug. 10-13).

5 sleeper picks for the 2023 Open Championship at Royal Liverpool

Can someone shock the golf world this week at Hoylake?

The world of golf has returned to Hoylake for the 2023 Open Championship at Royal Liverpool. Nine years ago, Rory McIlroy outlasted Rickie Fowler and Sergio Garcia on his way to becoming the 2014 Champion Golfer of the Year at this very venue.

McIlroy, who won the Genesis Scottish Open last week, was chased down by Cam Smith last season at St. Andrews and eventually finished third.

Smith was admittedly emotional when he returned the Claret Jug this week, but he sounds extremely motivated to get it back.

Although some of the top players in the world are playing their best golf at the moment, that doesn’t mean Sunday will be without a Cinderella story.

2023 Open Championship odds, event history and picks to win

All eyes are on Hoylake for the 151st Open.

For the first time since 2014, all eyes are on Hoylake.

The best players in the world have made their way to Royal Liverpool for the 2023 Open Championship, the final men’s major of the year.

Cam Smith, after his come-from-behind victory at the Old Course last season, enters the week as the defending champion. He admitted Monday that he was a bit emotional returning the Claret Jug.

The man he chased down at St. Andrews, Rory McIlroy, won the title of Champion Golfer of the Year nine years ago when the Open last came to this historic venue.

Both players won the last event they played in: Smith at LIV Golf London, and McIlroy at the Genesis Scottish Open.

Updated odds for the Steelers to make Super Bowl LVIII

The Steelers remain longshots in the AFC to win the Super Bowl.

[anyclip pubname=”2123″ widgetname=”0016M00002U0B1kQAF_M8169″]

The last time the Pittsburgh Steelers made it to the Super Bowl they beat the Arizona Cardinals in what was easily one of the most exciting games in NFL history. 2009 feels like a lifetime ago and since then Pittsburgh has remained a fringe playoff team the Super Bowl has been a goal but the team hasn’t been a true contender in far too long.

ESPN shared the current Super Bowl odds for every NFL team from Caesar’s Sportsbook and they have the Steelers at +6000 giving them 60/1 odds to win the Super Bowl. By comparison, the Kansas City Chiefs are the favorites at 6/1 odds and the Houston Texans and Arizona Cardinals are the biggest longshots at 200/1.

No team in the AFC North has worse odds to win the Super Bowl. Obviously, the Cincinnati Bengals are the favorite among them at 10/1 odds. The Browns, who seem to always underperform have 35/1 odds. Only three AFC teams, the Texans, Indianapolis Colts and Tennessee Titans have worse odds to win the Super Bowl and ironically they are all in the AFC South.

Betting odds for the 2023 Open Championship at Royal Liverpool

Rory McIlroy is the betting favorite at +750 (15/2).

The final men’s major championship of the year is almost here as the best players in the world are set to descend upon Royal Liverpool for the 151st Open Championship.

Last year, Cameron Smith — who has since joined the LIV Golf League — chased down Rory McIlroy at St. Andrews to become the Champion Golfer of the Year.

The Aussie has played in all three majors so far in 2023 and has bettered his finish each time. First, he tied for 34th at the Masters, then finished T-9 at the PGA Championship before a solo fourth outing at the U.S. Open.

McIlroy, after a missed cut at Augusta National, has finished T-7 at the PGA and solo second at the U.S. Open. The Northern Irishman is looking for his first major since 2014 — which came at Royal Liverpool. He’s the betting favorite across sportsbooks.

Here are the odds for the 151st Open.

2023 American Century Championship odds to win, Tony Romo the favorite at 5/2

Who’s your pick to win the star-studded event?

Everyone’s favorite celebrity event is right around the corner, as stars are set to tee it up in the American Century Championship in Lake Tahoe July 14-16.

Steph Curry, one of the favorites to win the tournament, got in a bit of a warmup a few weeks ago as he played alongside his Golden State Warrior teammate Klay Thompson in the latest edition of The Match series. The Splash Brothers lost to Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs at the Wynn Golf Club in Las Vegas.

Defending champion Tony Romo, legendary Dallas Cowboys quarterback,  is the betting favorite at 5/2.

Here are the top 10 betting favorites for the 2023 American Century Championship.

LIV Golf announces Simplebet as official sports betting innovation partner

Simplebet is a leader in micro-betting products.

[anyclip pubname=”2122″ widgetname=”0016M00002U0B1kQAF_M8171″]

On Wednesday, LIV Golf League announced it reached an agreement with Simplebet, a leader in micro-betting products, to be its official sports betting innovation partner.

“Developing new ways that golf can progress into the future has been a league tenet since day one,” LIV Golf Commissioner and CEO Greg Norman said in a release. “LIV Golf presents a supercharged tournament and fan experience showcasing a consistent field of the world’s best players competing at the same time under the same conditions. With golf becoming an increasingly popular sport within the multi-billion-dollar sports betting market, our league is proud to work with Simplebet, which aligns with our competition model that every shot from every player is meaningful from start to finish.”

To better understand how Simplebet works, think of it as live betting on steroids. For example, instead of betting on Cam Smith to win the event during the second round, you can bet on if he’ll hit the 12th fairway or not. You can bet on the outcome of a seven-foot birdie putt.

Live betting, but on the micro-level.

“This is a transcendent moment for the sport, and we are thrilled to serve as the Official Sports Betting Innovation Partner of LIV Golf,” Simplebet CEO Chris Bevilacqua said in a release. “We’ve revolutionized the way audiences around the world connect with live sports by unlocking fan engagement opportunities and together with LIV Golf, we will create the new blueprint for how sports leagues can maximize their IP through innovative betting.”

LIV Golf’s next event will be held Aug. 4-6 at The Greenbrier.

The top 10 betting favorites for the 2023 Open Championship at Royal Liverpool

Rory McIlroy, the betting favorite, won the 2014 Open in Hoylake.

It all comes down to this, the final men’s major championship of 2023.

The best players in the world are set to take on Royal Liverpool for the 151st Open Championship from July 20-23.

Cameron Smith, a member of the LIV Golf League, is the reigning Champion Golfer of the Year thanks to his come-from-behind victory at St. Andrews over Cam Young and Rory McIlroy.

Smith has made the cut in all three majors so far this year, tying for 34th at the Masters, for ninth at the PGA and finishing solo fourth at the U.S. Open.

McIlroy, who grabbed solo second at Los Angeles Country Club and is looking for his first major win since the 2014 Open, which was held at Royal Liverpool, is the betting favorite at +750.

Here are the top 10 betting favorites for the 151st Open.
