Kansas City Chiefs tight end Noah Gray had another productive game last Sunday in the team’s victory over the Cleveland Browns. During Tuesday’s press conference, he shared his thoughts on how Kansas City’s unique schedule of games affects player rest.

“Yeah. I mean, it’s super important. Rest is super important. Sleep is super important. So just some of those things that we got to be extra cognizant of, you know, during this time. But it’s gonna be a lot of fun.” said Gray. “Nothing like playing ball on Christmas. So, you know, every single day that we have the opportunity to come out here and play, regardless of the circumstances, fun, and we’re looking forward to it.”

The Chiefs will play on Saturday at Arrowhead Stadium against the Houston Texans and then head on the road for a Christmas Day game with the Pittsburgh Steelers on Wednesday.

During the Week 15 win, in the last five minutes of the first half, Patrick Mahomes connected with an open Gray in the back of the end zone for a six-yard score. It marked his fifth touchdown of the season, a new single-season career high, and his fifth touchdown in as many weeks. Gray finished the victory in Cleveland with two catches for 21 yards.

Chiefs vs. Browns: TE Noah Gray continues hot streak with clutch touchdown

The Kansas City Chiefs continued their hot start against the Cleveland Browns in Week 15 when Patrick Mahomes connected with budding tight end Noah Gray for a touchdown in the second quarter.

Gray has been among Kansas City’s most productive receivers this season and is proving to be one of Mahomes’ favorite targets, especially when plays break down.

His touchdown catch helped give the Chiefs a 14-point lead on the road before halftime and kept momentum on Kansas City’s side at Huntington Bank Field.

Take a look at this video of Gray’s impressive score, which was posted to Twitter by the Chiefs’ official account:

Browns star pass rusher Myles Garrett went down on this play, and seemed to be seriously injured.

However, Garrett returned to the field later in the second quarter.

Stay tuned to see if Gray can keep his hot streak alive in the second half of Kansas City’s matchup against Cleveland.

PFF: Standout TE was Chiefs’ highest-graded player vs. Raiders in Week 13

Breakout TE Noah Gray was the #Chiefs’ highest-graded player in Kansas City’s Week 13 win over the Las Vegas #Raiders on Black Friday.

The Kansas City Chiefs are playoff-bound for the tenth-straight season after their 19-17 win over the Las Vegas Raiders on Friday night.

For much of the season, the Chiefs’ offense has been wildly inconsistent, and the unit continued that trend in their Week 13 matchup against Las Vegas.

Though Kansas City emerged from the game victorious, Patrick Mahomes struggled to keep the Chiefs moving downfield against the Raiders’ scrappy secondary.

But fourth-year tight end Noah Gray, who has emerged as a star for Kansas City over the past few weeks, managed to get himself into open space enough to rack up four catches for 58 yards.

The experts at Pro Football Focus took notice of Gray’s outstanding effort and made him the Chiefs’ highest-graded player in Week 13:

Expect Gray to continue helping Mahomes dissect opposing defenses as Kansas City makes a late-season push for the No. 1 seed in the AFC playoffs and a potential Super Bowl three-peat.

PFF: Rising TE was Chiefs’ highest-graded player in Week 12 win over Panthers

According to Pro Football Focus, #Chiefs TE Noah Gray was Kansas City’s highest-graded player in Week 12.

The Kansas City Chiefs eeked out a slim victory over the Carolina Panthers in Week 12, and their offense was a surprising bright spot in an otherwise frustrating game for fans in Western Missouri.

Quarterback Patrick Mahomes was in sync with his receiving corps throughout the game, and wasn’t afraid to get the ball to his tight ends in crunch time.

Though the Panthers managed to sack Mahomes five times, the reigning Super Bowl MVP was helped by a breakout performance by Noah Gray, who scored two touchdowns that lifted the Chiefs to victory.

This week, Pro Football Focus released their list of Kansas City’s highest-graded players in the Chiefs’ win over Carolina, and Gray led the pack with a season-high mark of 82.

As Kansas City continues its push for a Super Bowl three-peat, fans can look forward to more outstanding showings from Gray, who is quickly becoming one of Mahomes’ favorite targets.

Chiefs TE Noah Gray earns game ball for outstanding performance vs. Panthers

#Chiefs TE Noah Gray earned a game ball from the experts at Pro Football Network for his two-touchdown performance against the #Panthers.

The Kansas City Chiefs achieved another close victory in their Week 12 matchup against the Carolina Panthers and earned their tenth regular season win in dramatic fashion after a last-second field goal by kicker Spencer Shrader.

Patrick Mahomes put together a three-touchdown performance without being intercepted and had a legendary 33-yard run in the fourth quarter that helped seal the game in Kansas City’s favor.

But, in their analysis of the Chiefs’ latest victory, the experts at Pro Football Network awarded tight end Noah Gray their game ball for his outstanding showing against Carolina in which he caught two of Mahomes’ three touchdown passes.

Take a look at their reasoning below:

“The easy thing would be just to hand this award to Patrick Mahomes, but that’s true most weeks for the Kansas City Chiefs.

Mahomes was Superman Sunday, up to and including his 33-yard scramble that set up Spencer Shrader’s game-winning field goal as time expired in the Chiefs’ 30-27 victory over the Carolina Panthers.

But we’re going Noah Gray here. Why? It’s got to be a pretty anonymous life being the guy who backs up the guy who’s dating Taylor Swift.

But Gray took a backseat to no one, Travis Kelce included, in the Chiefs’ latest escape act.

Gray caught two of Mahomes’ three touchdown passes, had four receptions for a team-high 66 yards, and was on the field for 44 of 74 snaps Sunday.”

Stay tuned to see if Gray can extend his streak of outings with two touchdown catches to three games when the Chiefs face the Las Vegas Raiders on Black Friday in Week 13.

Chiefs TE Noah Gray discusses the team’s poise on the winning drive: ‘A lot of confidence in each other’

Kansas City #Chiefs TE Noah Gray discusses the team’s poise on the winning drive: ‘A lot of confidence in each other’ | @EdEastonJr

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Noah Gray spoke with reporters on Sunday after the victory over the Carolina Panthers. He explained the team’s uncanny ability not to get rattled after almost blowing a two-score lead in the fourth quarter.

“It goes back to the guys and trusting the guys on the team,” said Gray. “This is a great group of guys and I am fortunate enough to practice with them all week. The preparation that goes into it, from the coaches all the way down to the players, just super fortunate to play alongside those guys.”

Gray had another standout game, leading the team with two touchdown receptions, but he understood the formula for a comeback after the Panthers tied the game in regulation.

“We trust every single one of those guys in that locker room. We always have a lot of confidence in each other, and fortunately Spence made a phenomenal kick down the stretch,” said Gray. “You know, he’s only been here for a week and a half. But shout out to Spence, man; I mean, that guy just came to work and just kept his head down. He’s a humble dude, and he made a great kick to get the win for us.”

Sunday marks the first time the Chiefs had a pass catcher record at least two touchdown receptions in back-to-back games since WR Tyreek Hill accomplished the feat vs. the New York Jets and the Carolina Panthers during the 2020 season. Gray finished his record-setting day by tying single-game career highs for catches (four) and receiving yards (66) to go with the two touchdowns en route to Kansas City’s 30-27 victory.

Former Duke football star [autotag]Noah Gray[/autotag] seems to be emerging as one of Patrick Mahomes’ favorite targets.

Gray caught two touchdown passes from the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback on Sunday, first on a wide-open 35-yard catch-and-run on the opening drive before making a leaping grab in the end zone for a second-quarter score.

Those trips to the end zone, two of Mahomes’ three touchdown passes for the game, helped the Chiefs win another close game with a 30-27 final margin over the Carolina Panthers.

After not catching a touchdown over Kansas City’s first nine games, Gray now has four in the past eight quarters. He snagged two against the Buffalo Bills in Week 11, Kansas City’s first loss of the year, for the first two-score game of his career.

The former fifth-round pick has accumulated 315 receiving yards this season, a personal record with six games left to play. His 27 receptions are one short of his career record, and he’d only caught four touchdowns in his first 58 games combined.

Chiefs vs. Panthers: Noah Gray snags second touchdown to extend Kansas City’s lead

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Noah Gray is having a breakout month of November and has continued his run of dominance against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.

As defenses focus their attention on the Chiefs’ more notable pass-catchers like tight end Travis Kelce and wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, lesser-known players are finding plenty of opportunities to catch passes from Patrick Mahomes.

After opening the game with a wide-open touchdown reception, Gray found himself scoring another touchdown as Kansas City drove downfield before halftime.

With under a minute left in the second quarter, and in desperate need of six points, Mahomes found Gray in the back of the endzone for a touchdown connection that extended the Chiefs’ lead.

Rising TE gives Chiefs an early lead over Panthers in Week 12

#Chiefs TE Noah Gray scored a touchdown on Kansas City’s first drive against the Carolina #Panthers in Week 12.

The Kansas City Chiefs are out to a seven-point lead over the Carolina Panthers in Week 12 after Patrick Mahomes hit Noah Gray with a perfect touchdown pass on the defending Super Bowl champions’ first drive.

Gray scored two touchdowns in Kansas City’s Week 11 loss to the Buffalo Bills last Sunday and wasted no time getting open in Carolina’s secondary to provide Mahomes an easy target downfield.

The touchdown was set up by an outstanding return by Samaje Perine on the opening kickoff, which set the Chiefs up in an ideal field position.

Kansas City won’t be able to take its foot off the gas against the Panthers, who are ready to play the spoiler and hand the Chiefs their second loss of the season.

Chiefs OC Matt Nagy nicknames Week 11 standout: ‘He’s Mr. Consistent’

Kansas City #Chiefs offensive coordinator Matt Nagy nicknames Noah Gray: ‘He’s Mr. Consistent’ | @EdEastonJr

During his press conference, Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Matt Nagy praised tight end Noah Gray’s play beyond the numbers.

“He’s been somebody that, since I got here, I’ve really taken onto what he’s done as far as the details, his practice habits, his in-game adjustments, making plays when he gets a chance; you see what he did last week in Buffalo, he made some nice plays. He’s Mr. Consistent. I think it’s very valuable.” said Nagy. “He’s probably one of the more underrated and under-appreciated guys outside of this building when you look at what he does.”

Gray’s career game in last week’s loss to the Buffalo Bills put him in the spotlight as an offensive threat. Nagy, however, has consistently recognized his value in more than just the catches and touchdowns.

“Probably the biggest thing that I see is he transfers what he does in practice to the game,” said Nagy. “If you look at it from the practice standpoint, every single rep that he gets, he makes count sometimes. I think what’s more special about that part of it is that he might not be one or two in the progression; he might be three in the progression, and when you get back to three in the progression, you know he’s always going to be there doing the right thing.”

Due to Buffalo’s coverage, the Chiefs offense could not get much production from stars Travis Kelce and DeAndre Hopkins last week. Gray’s emergence as an offensive weapon in the red zone should help the balance this season.
