Fun Tiger Woods themed merch and apparel to celebrate his return at the 2023 Genesis Invitational

Celebrate the Big Cat’s return to non-major golf.

The Cat is back!

It’s the first time we get to watch Tiger Woods is making his first official PGA Tour start since last year’s Open Championship, and it’s the first time we’ll see him play tournament golf since the PNC Championship in December.

Like everybody else, we’re excited to watch some Tiger, so we decided to round up some of the best Tiger themed apparel and merchandise to help celebrate.

Let’s be honest, if you don’t have at least one piece of Tiger-themed merch, are you really even a golf fan?

Seriously though, having a TW hat, a red Nike polo, a Frank head cover or anything else related to the 15-time major champ is like having the jersey of your favorite NFL or NBA player.

Of course, having that Sunday Red polo and TW hat isn’t complete without black pants and shoes. Check out our list on both golf essentials to complete the look! Best Pants | Best Shoes

Finally, we can’t talk about Tiger for too long without mentioning Charlie Woods. If you want to create your own Tiger/Charlie dynamic, sign up for Golfweek’s Father’s Day Open at Innisbrook Resort this June.

Is bold always best? Tony Finau’s style during the 2022 season

Tony Finau has made bold choices with his wardrobe from Nike this season. He had people talking at The Masters when he wore a color-blocked long sleeve that resembled swim floaties from the back. I like going bold, but is bold always best?

Finau pushes the envelope when it comes to his wardrobe and has begun to adopt more of a streetwear look on the course. His style may not be for everyone, but he wears it confidently and it’s making headlines.

Let’s hope that good style correlates to even better golf scores for Finau. Take a look at some of Finau’s bold looks over the 2022 season so far.

Best Nike Tiger Woods apparel

Ever since he took the world by storm in 1997, Tiger Woods has been the standard for golf fashion.

Ever since he took the world by storm in 1997 when he won his first Masters and his first of 15 (and counting) majors, Tiger Woods has been the standard for golf fashion. Yes, we’re counting the baggy-pant phase as fashion.

This list explores the apparel and accessories that you too can wear to channel your inner Tiger. Unsurprisingly, most of our list is red and black. If Sunday greatness isn’t your thing, there are plenty of other colors offered throughout Nike’s collection of TW products.

Nike’s limited-edition British Open footwear is inspired by dartboards

The limited-edition Air Max 90 G, Air Zoom Infinity Tour and Air Zoom Victory Tour take their cues from the popular “19th hole” activity.

For the past few seasons, Nike staff players have received special, limited-edition versions of the company’s footwear to use during major championships. These shoes are given themes, often that match the venues where the tournaments are being played. So, while this year’s Masters theme was using recycled materials, during the recent PGA Championship at Kiawah in May, some players’ shoes had a seersucker pattern of light blue and white.

This week, with the British Open taking place at Royal St. George’s Golf Club in Sandwich, England, Nike has created three more limited-edition versions of its Air Max 90 G, Air Zoom Infinity Tour and Air Zoom Victory Tour 2 shoes. The theme is games played in pubs, taprooms and the “19th hole” in England. That means darts, pool and snooker. The shoes are below, and as you can see, they are trimmed in cork to commemorate the dartboards and green to represent the felt of a pool table.

PGA Championship: Nike’s Lowcountry inspired golf footwear

Rory McIlroy, Brooks Koepka, Tony Finau and other Nike athletes will be wearing special shoes at the 2021 PGA Championship.

When companies make commemorative gear to sell during major championships, they gravitate toward local themes.

For instance, two years ago, when the PGA Championship was being contested at the Black Course at Bethpage State Park in Farmingdale, New York, the famous warning sign near the first tee and the grittiness of New York City were highlighted. Last year, when the tournament visited TPC Harding Park in San Francisco, psychedelic colors, tie-dye patterns and peace symbols were everywhere.

This week, the PGA Championship is being played at the Ocean Course on Kiawah Island in South Carolina. The area is referred to as The Lowcountry region, and is known for boating, fishing, great golf courses and boils on the beaches that feature steaming crab, sausage, corn and potatoes. It’s laid back, gentile and not a place where people hurry and rush too much.

To celebrate the 2021 PGA Championship, Nike is picking up on those themes for new versions of four golf shoes.

Masters: Shoes Nike players will be wearing at Augusta National in 2021

See the Nike footwear, designed using recycled materials, that players like Rory McIlroy, Tony Finau and Jason Day will wear at the Masters.

While Nike’s most iconic golfer, Tiger Woods, is not going to be competing next week at the 2021 Masters, plenty of other big-name players who wear Nike footwear are going to be in the field. Golfers like Rory McIlroy, Tony Finau, Jason Day and others will be at Augusta National Golf Club trying to win the year’s first men’s major championship.

While Nike is not officially making any Masters-themed footwear, the company does have new colorways that will be featured by its athletes starting next week. Collectively, they are being called Nike’s Masters NRG Pack, but individually they are the Air Zoom Victory Tour 2 NRG, Air Max 90 G NRG and the Air Zoom Infinity Tour NRG.

The uppers in all the shoes are made from 100 percent recycled canvas, which gives them a raw, rougher look and feel. The lace loops and the canvas on the tongue are also made from 100 percent recycled materials.
