After a high-arching dagger triple from Steph Curry, the “night night” celebration made an appearance in Houston.

In the first quarter against the Houston Rockets, Steph Curry recorded seven assists and the Golden State Warriors scored 40 points. However, the reigning NBA Finals MVP surprisingly went scoreless on only two attempts from the field in the quarter.

On his way to a 33-point performance on 11-of-20 shooting from the field with seven made 3s, Curry broke out his signature night night celebration after a ridiculous made 3-pointer.

After hitting a dagger against the Cavaliers, Steph Curry broke out the “night night” celebration.

During the Golden State Warriors’ run to the 2022 NBA title, Steph Curry’s night night celebration quickly became a signature. As the Warriors eliminated teams throughout the playoffs, the night night quickly became Curry’s go-to celebration. However, with the Warriors’ slow start to the 2022-23 season, the celebration has been quiet.

On Friday night against the Cleveland Cavaliers, the reigning NBA Finals Most Valuable Player broke out the celebration.

With the Warriors trailing at the start of the fourth quarter, Curry tallied 15 points in the final frame to secure a comeback win over the Cavaliers at San Francisco’s Chase Center.

After hitting the game-tying shot and the go-ahead jumper to give the Warriors the lead with time ticking away, Curry drilled a dagger 3-pointer to extend Golden State’s lead in the final stretch of the game.

Following Curry’s long ball, he dropped the night night celebration in front of a raucous crowd at San Francisco’s Chase Center.

Steph Curry savagely called his “night night” against the Nuggets before anyone noticed and fans were so shocked

Steph Curry is an absolute savage.

Steph Curry has always been one of the best players in the world — we already knew that.

You don’t get the NBA’s 3-point record by not being great. The shots the dude can hit are absolutely ridiculous. He’s also had multiple ridiculous Finals moments that have put him up there with the greatest players of all time.

But what I think most people miss about Curry is how much of an absolute savage he is. And he’s also not afraid to let you know that he’s better than you or that he’s going to beat you. It’s why we saw him put a ring on it in the middle of the NBA Finals.

The internet got another glimpse at just how savage Curry is on Friday.

NBA writer Joe Viray was reviewing playoff tape in preparation for next season when he stumbled upon this clip of Curry against the Nuggets. He noticed Curry did his now infamous “night night” gesture before he went right at Nikola Jokic on defense to close the game out.

He blows by him out of the pick and roll, makes the layup and does the gesture again. Like I said, dude is a savage.

That’s cold, man. Super cold. NBA fans were shocked all over again by the play.
