Josh Allen had Bills fans in full panic mode after he hilariously flopped during training camp

Josh Allen just earned himself a spot in the “lol you play too much” Hall of Fame

Josh Allen is very easily a top 5 quarterback in the NFL. Depending on who you ask, he might actually be number 1 on that list. Most of those folks are probably Bills fans, but still. Allen is great.

Nobody throws with the power he does. He spins it in ways other people can’t. He nearly had the Bills in the AFC Title game behind his arm talent. That’s how good he is.

So, yeah. Losing a guy of that caliber? It’ll, of course, sink your season before it even gets started. That’s exactly why Bills fans were all in panic mode after Allen hilariously flopped while being tackled at training camp.

Take a look.

MY MAN WAS LAID OUT. HE WAS AS FLAT AS A 6’5 BOARD. LOOK AT HIM.

He even had teammates calling for the team’s medical staff to come to check him out. You can clearly see Kaiir Elam waving for someone to come take a look at Allen because it looked like something was wrong. And the entire team huddled up around him.

All that only for him to just bounce right back up and act like nothing happened. What a brilliant troll job.

Fans collectively gave Allen the “lol you play too much” online after they all had mild panic attacks.

With training camp comes plenty of competition, especially after changes on the roster this offseason. Veterans and rookies alike will be looking to prove themselves in hopes of landing a roster spot or winning a starting job.

Falcons Training Camp: Takeaways from Day 1 of practice

Major takeaways from the Atlanta Falcons’ first training camp practice.

The Falcons began their much-anticipated second training camp under head coach Arthur Smith on Wednesday as the team looks to improve upon last year’s 7-10 campaign.

Atlanta also signed a defensive tackle to beef up the middle of the team’s defensive line following Eddie Goldman’s surprise retirement last week. Here are the major takeaways from the Falcons’ first training camp practice.

CB J.C. Jackson makes presence felt on first day of Chargers training camp

J.C. Jackson’s nose for the football was on display on the first day of Chargers training camp.

The Chargers used the offseason to load up on talent on defense, but arguably their most significant addition was cornerback J.C. Jackson.

Jackson’s 23 passes defended led all defensive players in 2021. His nose for the football was on display on the first day of training camp Wednesday.

On the first play of team drills, quarterback Justin Herbert’s pass intended for wide receiver Mike Williams was broken up by Jackson.

After spending the first four seasons of his pro career with the Patriots, in which he posted 25 interceptions, Jackson was rewarded by the Chargers with a massive five-year, $82.5 million deal.

Now the No. 1 corner that Brandon Staley needed, the hope is for Jackson to lock down opposing team’s top wideouts and provide a ball-hawk to a secondary that finished with just 11 interceptions in 2021.

CeeDee Lamb drops ‘Horns Down’ on arrival to Dallas Cowboys training camp practice

Arriving to practice one of Dallas Cowboys training camp, CeeDee Lamb responds to “Boomer Sooner” from OU fans in attendance with “Horns Down.”

Rivalries don’t end simply because a player graduates or moves on to the NFL. And when a rivalry runs as deep as it does between the Oklahoma Sooners and Texas Longhorns, it makes for some fun moments.

Sooners great [autotag]CeeDee Lamb[/autotag] provided a fun reminder of the greatness of the Red River Rivalry when he arrived for the Dallas Cowboys first training camp practice in Oxnard, Cali.

After greeting fans with a couple of peace signs, Lamb heard a fan shout “Boomer Sooner!” To which the former Sooners wide receiver responded with a “Horns Down.”

Getting ready for his third season with the Dallas Cowboys, CeeDee Lamb has taken over as the No. 1 wide receiver for America’s team.

After a fantastic 2021 season, the Cowboys opted to trade Amari Cooper to the Cleveland Browns to save money in his $20 million cap hit for 2022.

Lamb is hoping ti build off of a season in which he caught 79 passes for 1,102 yards and six touchdowns to lead the Cowboys passing attack. Now, in the lead role, there are high expectations for Lamb to produce at an even greater rate in 2022.

If his “Horns Down” arrival to Dallas Cowboys training camp is any indication, Lamb is feeling it ahead of his third NFL season. Big things are coming for the Oklahoma product.

Khalil Mack has one goal – help lift Chargers to Super Bowl

Khalil Mack has only one thing on his mind as he enters his ninth season in the NFL.

Khalil Mack has achieved numerous statistical goals on the football field. But the numbers don’t matter to Mack as he enters his ninth year in the NFL.

“You want to get to a Super Bowl…and you want to win it,” Mack said when he was asked about his personal goals for the upcoming season. “That’s the only thing on my mind.”

Mack’s quest to help the Chargers hoist the Lombardi Trophy began on Wednesday, as he and the rest of the players and coaches took the field for the first day of training camp.

Mack’s presence was felt early on as he got into the backfield for what would have been a run stop near the line of scrimmage.

In the offseason, Mack was acquired from the Bears to play opposite Joey Bosa and become opposing quarterback’s worst nightmare.

Mack will not only benefit from rushing across from another premier pass rusher but by playing for Brandon Staley, whose system is similar to former head coach Vic Fangio.

The year Staley was the outside linebackers coach in Chicago in 2018, Mack enjoyed a very productive campaign that year, finishing with 68 pressures, 48 hurries, and 12.5 sacks.

“That player that was out there today is the player I’m used to seeing,” Staley said about Mack.

The 31-year-old Mack is returning from a season-ending foot injury. Still, he produced 22 pressures and six sacks in seven games.

While he may not return to his Defensive Player of the Year-caliber of play, Mack will still present a player capable of boosting a group that ranked 25th in pressure rate and 28th in run defense a season ago.

USA Today predicts promising season for Chargers in 2022

USA Today’s Nate Davis predicts the outcome of the Los Angeles Chargers’ 2022 season.

As we continue to inch closer to the 2022 regular season, predictions for how the year will shake up for all 32 NFL teams continue to flood the web.

The latest comes from USA Today’s Nate Davis (subscriber only), who predicts the Chargers to finish 11-6 and earn a wild card spot.

In the wild-card matchup against the three-seeded Chiefs, Los Angeles defeats them only to get knocked out by the Bills, who lose to the Packers in Super Bowl 57.

Here is why Davis is so optimistic about L.A. heading into the upcoming season:

Whether it’s the “Air Coryell” teams, the 1994 AFC champions, or the LaDainian Tomlinson-Philip Rivers era, the Bolts have often looked to be on the verge of greatness … until they’re short-circuited by crippling injuries, poor game management, simple bad luck or all of the above. So here we are again, the 2022 edition projecting as a powerhouse – on paper. QB Justin Herbert, already part of the MVP discourse, is surrounded by scads of talent, including a potential brilliant coach in Brandon Staley – even if he overanalyzed his way out of playoff berth in Week 18 of last season. Still, folding the likes of OLB Khalil Mack, CB J.C. Jackson and rookie G Zion Johnson and RB Isaiah Spiller into this core suggests a team that’s already proven it can go toe-to-toe with the Chiefs should be primed for bigger things. The first six weeks should be telling as the Chargers will have gone through the AFC West lineup once, including dates with the Raiders and Chiefs in the season’s first five days.

The Bolts receiving plenty of hype and having high expectations from the media comes as no surprise. In the last few seasons, the team has failed to live up to them, but there are plenty of reasons to believe they will be able to match this year.

First off, the Chargers are stacked on both sides of the ball.

Offensively, Los Angeles will be led by one of the league’s best signal-callers, Justin Herbert. With the line in place and weapons around him, Keenan Allen, Mike Williams, Joshua Palmer Austin Ekeler, and Gerald Everett, Herbert should be set up for success in Year 3.

Defensively, the unit is completely revamped to go with stars Derwin James and Joey Bosa. Along with the notable additions of J.C. Jackson and Khalil Mack, the team has reinforcements to fix a horrid run defense from a year ago, with Sebastian Joseph-Day and Austin Johnson.

A team that has dealt with injuries to key players in the past has plenty of proven depth players to mitigate any potential losses.

As for the rest of the AFC West, Davis sees the Chiefs winning the AFC West with an 11-6 record while the Raiders finish 9-8 and the Broncos 8-9.

It’s been an eventful offseason for the New Orleans Saints. Here are ten things we’ve learned about the team ahead of training camp, via @RossJacksonNOLA:

With OTAs and mandatory minicamp in the rearview mirror, the New Orleans Saints will enjoy a break before rookies report for training camp on July 19. It’s been an eventful offseason that included several major storylines around Sean Payton, Deshaun Watson, LSU Tigers homecomings, and much more.

All revolving around what should be an impactful draft class and a rejuvenated passing game.
