49ers vs. Eagles: Almost all of US will get NFC championship rematch on TV

The #49ers and Eagles TV map shows the NFC championship rematch is almost a national TV game.

49ers fans located outside the Bay Area shouldn’t have a hard time getting the 49ers-Eagles NFC championship rematch on TV.

Fox held onto the showdown between the NFC’s top two teams and essentially turned it into a national television game.

There are only three total games in the late window in Week 13, and one of them – Panthers at Buccaneers – is on CBS. The other Fox game is the Browns-Rams showdown in Los Angeles. That game will only be televised in the LA and Cleveland markets. Everywhere else in the country will get 49ers-Eagles. The broadcast map provided by 506 Sports is almost comical:

In case it was unclear, 49ers-Eagles will be shown in the red areas of the map. Rams-Browns is in blue. There’s also a tiny blackout exception in Tampa Bay on the western coast of Florida.

Other than that everybody will be able to view a dynamite NFC championship rematch on their local Fox station.

NFL broadcast map for the rest of Week 8

The Bucs don’t play on Sunday, but you can find out what games will be on in your area here:

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers already played their Week 8 matchup against the Buffalo Bills, but there’s still a whole slate of games to be played for NFL’s Week 8 on Sunday.

All three other NFC South teams will be playing, and how those games turn out will obviously affect Tampa Bay’s standing in the division given how close everything is. Depending on what area you live in in the United States, you can check out which games you can watch on Sunday with the maps below courtesy of 506 Sports:

NFL broadcast map, Week 17: Ravens vs. Bengals getting no TV love

If you want to watch the Baltimore Ravens vs. Cincinnati Bengals stream on your TV, you’ll have to live in those cities in Week 17.

The Baltimore Ravens need to beat the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 17 to secure their spot in the AFC playoff picture. However, unless you live in the immediate area of either team, you’re probably not going to be able to watch the game on your television. The NFL broadcast map for Week 17 heavily features the Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Cleveland Browns, according to 506Sports, likely thanks to it being a far more interesting matchup.

With the Steelers having little to play for this week, they’re sitting quarterback Ben Roethlisberger in favor of Mason Rudolph. That name might sound familiar as Browns defensive end Myles Garrett bashed the reserve quarterback in the head with his own helmet last season. Not only is that storyline prevalent, but Cleveland is also fighting for its playoff life this week despite holding a 10-5 record.

While the Ravens have a playoff spot on the line as well, they’re expected to beat the Bengals this week by a wide margin. One oddsmaker opened the week up with Baltimore holding a nearly two-touchdown spread over Cincinnati — indicative of their relative talent levels this season. And with a bunch of other scenarios where the Ravens can clinch a playoff spot even in a loss, television stations clearly wisely chose the bigger storylines to air.

If you’re in the green, you’ll be able to see Baltimore take on Cincinnati on CBS on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. ET.

NFL broadcast map, Week 16: Ravens vs. Giants claims the upper East Coast

The Baltimore Ravens vs. New York Giants don’t take up a lot of room on the NFL broadcast map in Week 16 but do get most of the East Coast.

The Baltimore Ravens are fighting for their playoff lives again this week, this time taking on the New York Giants in Week 16. But, just like last week, a more prominent game takes up nearly the entire country on the NFL broadcast map, leaving Ravens fans limited in where they can watch the game.

Baltimore is held to the upper East Coast this week, which makes sense considering the opponent is New York. But with the Giants also fighting for a playoff spot, despite their 5-9 record (thanks to the horrible NFC East), parts of Texas around Dallas are awfully interested in how this game goes.

Unfortunately, the Kansas City Chiefs have a shot at claiming the No. 1 seed this week against the Atlanta Falcons. Not only is that a major playoff implication, but the Falcons have also been terrible this season. So, it could be a chance to see the Chiefs’ high-flying offense put up videogame-like numbers. Because of that, Kansas City vs. Atlanta claims nearly the entire country’s television screens this week.

If you’re in the blue, you’ll see the Ravens vs. Giants on Fox in Week 16, according to 506 Sports.

Ravens fans will also be paying close attention to the scoreboard this week. Baltimore needs to not only win but get a little help to put themselves back into the playoff seeding. Luckily, the Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Indianapolis Colts takes up much of the country on CBS, albeit not in Baltimore where Washington ends up getting the love, according to 506 Sports’ CBS NFL broadcast map.

NFL broadcast map, Week 11: Ravens vs. Titans snubbed on the East Coast

Unless you’re on the East Coast, you’ll probably be able to watch the Baltimore Ravens vs. Tennessee Titans in Week 11.

The Baltimore Ravens take on the Tennessee Titans in a Week 11 contest that will have far-reaching ramifications on the AFC playoff picture. Though much of the country will get to watch the game, if you’re on the East Coast, things will be a little trickier.

On the coast, you better be right in Baltimore to catch this week’s game. In previous weeks Washington D.C. and some of Pennsylvania have been apart of the broadcast areas. However, that ends this week as the Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Jacksonville Jaguars and Cincinnati Bengals vs. Washington Redskins games will take up quite a lot of television screens in the area.

If you’re in the red, you’ll see the Ravens vs. Titans on CBS in Week 11.

If you’re in the red, you’ll see Ravens vs. Colts on CBS in Week 9

The broadcast map shows how important this game is, with Week 9’s tilt between the Ravens vs Colts potentially impacting the playoff picture

The Baltimore Ravens are finally getting some love from the television networks. Despite being considered one of the better teams in the NFL and a potential Super Bowl contender, Ravens fans around the country haven’t been able to see their favorite team on their televisions very easily. For the second consecutive week, that will change.

Baltimore was a highlight game last week, taking on the Pittsburgh Steelers in what was described as one of the biggest rivalries in professional sports. Week 9 doesn’t bring the same intensity but with the Indianapolis Colts at 5-2 and in the playoff hunt as well, this game means quite a lot to two divisions and an entire conference. That means a good chunk of the country will be able to see the Ravens vs. Colts this week.

If you’re in the red, you’ll see Baltimore vs. Indianapolis on CBS in Week 9.

This matchup used to have some serious feelings involved. The Colts used to be in Baltimore before then-owner Robert Irsay moved the team in the dead of night to head to Indianapolis. It took over a decade for Baltimore to eventually get the Ravens and those hard feelings remained for several years. But after 25 years of Baltimore having football again, the sourness has faded. Very few players still in the NFL were even alive when the Colts left town, helping turn this from a rivalry into more of a friendly competition . . . at least when the playoffs aren’t potentially on the line.

If you’re in the purple, you’ll see Ravens vs. Eagles on CBS in Week 6

The Baltimore Ravens vs. Philadelphia Eagles game is not only local in Week 6 but in a few other pockets of the country on the broadcast map

The Baltimore Ravens remain one of the best teams in the NFL, at least according to their 4-1 record. However, TV networks aren’t giving them much love as they take on the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 6.

Though the Ravens are still electric on both sides of the ball, the Eagles are pretty far from that which shows in their 1-3-1 record. Considering Baltimore decimated the Cincinnati Bengals 27-3 last week — the team Philadelphia tied against a few weeks ago — it makes sense television networks would keep this one local. However, you’ll notice the game is on in a few other small pockets of the country as well.

If you’re in the purple/blue, you’ll see the Ravens take on the Eagles on CBS in Week 6.

If you’re in the purple, you’ll see Ravens vs. Bengals on CBS in Week 5

The Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals get no love in Week 5 with a small portion of the country getting access to the TV broadcast

It’s nearly time for the Baltimore Ravens to take the field once again in 2020, this time against the Cincinnati Bengals for Week 5. Baltimore will host Cincinnati in each teams’ second divisional game of the season.

Though it’s a battle between two exciting young quarterbacks in the Ravens’ Lamar Jackson and the Bengals’ Joe Burrow, it’s just not the best matchup of Week 5. Instead, most of the country will be watching the Las Vegas Raiders take on the Kansas City Chiefs in an AFC West showdown.

Take a look at this week’s TV broadcast map, courtesy of 506Sports, to see if you’ll be able to catch the Ravens’ game on CBS.

If you’re in the blue, you’ll see the Ravens vs. Browns on CBS in Week 1

If you’re in the dark blue, you’ll be able to see the Baltimore Ravens take on the Cleveland Browns for Week 1 of the 2020 regular saeson.

It seems like forever since we’ve had football live on television but it returns for Week 1 of the 2020 NFL regular season. The Baltimore Ravens open their season against the Cleveland Browns in a divisional game that’s sure to have playoff implications down the line.

Though the game is being held at M&T Bank Stadium, every Ravens fan will have to watch on television. Baltimore isn’t allowing fans in the stands for at least the initial part of the 2020 season due to the coronavirus pandemic, so we’ll all have to make due with announcers Ian Eagle and Charles Davis covering the game on CBS.

As usual, 506 Sports has this week’s broadcast map to help determine which areas of the country will be able to watch the Ravens. If you’re in one of the dark blue areas, you’ll see Baltimore vs. Cleveland in Week 1.

It might not be a perfect return to football with an empty stadium but football is finally back, and that’s plenty of reason to be excited.

If you’re in the blue, you’ll see Ravens vs. Steelers on CBS in Week 17

The Ravens vs. Steelers game got bumped up to a later time but will still only be viewed in a small portion of the country.

The Baltimore Ravens vs. Pittsburgh Steelers Week 17 matchup means a great deal to the AFC playoff picture. So much so that the game was flexed to later in the afternoon to maximize the number of people who could watch. Yet, even with the game flexed to 4:25 p.m., it’s still only available in a small part of the country.

Pittsburgh hangs on to their playoff hopes by a thread. They’ll need to not only beat Baltimore but get a little help from around the league to squeak into the postseason and secure a wild-card seed. For the Ravens, they’ve already clinched the AFC’s top seed and will have a first-round bye as well as home-field advantage throughout the playoffs, making this game far less important for them.

Still, any AFC North rivalry is bound to be a good game, regardless of who is playing. And you don’t get more chippy than Pittsburgh vs. Baltimore.

If you’re in the blue, you’ll see the Ravens vs. Steelers in Week 17 on CBS.
