The New York Yankees are once again champions of the American League East.
New York defeated the Baltimore Orioles 10-1 on Thursday night to clinch the division with just three games remaining in the regular season.
This is the Yankees’ third AL East title in the last six years, but the team has not been to a World Series since 2009.
The Bronx Bombers are led by the potent duo of Aaron Judge and Juan Soto, and also hold a one-game lead over the Cleveland Guardians for the top spot in the entire American League.
