Michigan State Basketball vs. Nebraska: Where to Watch, Game Preview & Prediction

Check out the game details, keys to the match-up, and my game prediction in this Michigan State-Nebraska preview.

The Breslin Center will be the home for a battle between a pair of Big Ten bottom feeders on Saturday, as the Spartans look to break out of a brutal slump against the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

Michigan State enters Saturday night’s match-up vs. Nebraska in the midst of a four-game losing streak and with their 22-season NCAA Tournament streak on the line. The Spartans are considered by many to have slim chances at extending that impressive streak, and a loss to the lousy Cornhuskers on Saturday would all but kill those slim odds.

Nebraska enters this match-up as the only Big Ten team without a conference win this year. The Cornhuskers also are entering this game off a nearly month-long COVID-19 pause, making them somewhat of a wildcard in this match-up.

Let’s take a look at this match-up against the Cornhuskers, with game details, things to watch, and last but not least my prediction for this game.

Michigan State basketball broke out of their recent slump with an 84-77 victory over Nebraska on Saturday night. The win was the Spartans first in Big Ten play and snapped a three-game losing streak.

A number of Spartans contributed in the victory over the Cornhuskers, but junior forward Aaron Henry played the biggest role in the win. Henry scored a career-high 27 points to lead the Spartans offensively. Henry has recently been struggling on the offensive end of the floor so it was great to see him put together a strong breakout performance.
