The Huskers delivered efficient numbers in shooting, going 29-for-61 in field goal shooting, 9-for-30 in 3-point shooting, and 24-for-32 at the free throw line. Nebraska also had big numbers in rebounds and steals, finishing with 50 and 16 as a team, respectively.

C.J. Wilcher finished the night as the Huskers’ top scorer, tallying up 18 points in the win. Wilcher also tied the team for steals in the game, securing three. Keisei Tominaga also snatched three steals for Nebraska, along with scoring five points.

Brice Williams finished as the second-best scorer for the Huskers, putting up 16 points along with hauling in seven rebounds and two blocks. Josiah Allick also secured seven rebounds while scoring 10 points and snatching four assists and two steals. Freshman Eli Rice rounded out the Huskers’ double-digit scorers in the win, dropping 10 points.

Nebraska struggled in shooting throughout the game. The Huskers went just 18-of-63 in total shooting, while Kansas shot 24-of-55, enough to pull the Jayhawks away. Only one player for Nebraska broke double-digits in scoring or rebounding.

Alexis Markowski finished as the Husker’s leader in both shooting and rebounding. Markowski earned her seventh double-double of the season in the loss by scoring 19 points and hauling in 11 rebounds.

Nebraska struggled in the first half against the Fighting Hawks, heading into the locker room down 42-32. But the Huskers stormed back in the second half to erase the deficit and take an 83-75 win.

Nebraska’s entire starting lineup finished in double-digits in scoring, combining for 62 total points in the win. However, the lead scorer came off the bench for the Huskers on the night. C.J. Wilcher finished as the top scorer for Nebraska, dropping 16 points and landing four-of-six 3-pointers.

Along with Wilcher, Juwan Gary finished the game as the team’s rebound leader, securing 12. Gary accompanied the 12 rebounds with 12 points to earn his third double-double of the season.

The Huskers finished the game going 22-of-50 in total shooting, 12-of-27 in three-point shooting and 20-of-27 in free throw shooting. Nebraska also saw history be made in the win.

Alexis Markowski surpassed 1,000 career points on the afternoon, becoming the 37th Husker in school history to reach that milestone. Markowski led Nebraska in scoring as well, dropping 21 points.

Jaz Shelley finished second for the Huskers in scoring, delivering 15 points in the win. Shelly accompanied her 15 points with five rebounds and five assists. Freshman Logan Nissley also scored double-digit points for Nebraska, finishing the game with 14 points.

Nissley earn a majority of her points from beyond the arc as she went four-of-five in three-point shooting. Freshman Natalie Potts also put together a solid performance, leading the team in rebounds with nine.

Nebraska finished 25-of-72 in total shooting and 11-of-31 in three-point shooting, while also hauling 57 rebounds. This tipped the scale in the Huskers’ favor as Kansas State managed to go 16-of-60 in total shooting and four-of-30 in three-point shooting while securing only 40 rebounds.

Bradley transfer Reink Mast finished as the top scorer for Nebraska, scoring 19 points in the win. Mast also earned a double-double in the win, by snatching 12 rebounds. Mast even tied for 3-pointers in the win for Nebraska, going three-of-four beyond the arc.

Keisei Tominaga was the other Husker to land three 3-pointers in the win, going three-of-nine from beyond the arc to rack up nine points.

Nebraska shot 27-of-54 while also landing 10-of-23 three-pointers and 13-of-15 free throws. This gave the Huskers the edge over Michigan State, who finished 27-of-62 in field goal shooting, 8-of-17 from beyond the arc, and just 8-of-9 from the free throw line.

Juwan Gary dropped 20 points on the night to lead Nebraska in scoring. Gary went 8-of-11 in shooting, 2-of-4 from beyond the arc, while also securing three steals. Keisei Tominaga finished the game as the Huskers’ leader in three-pointers, landing 3-of-7 from beyond the arc to accompany his 15 points scored.

Nebraska clashed with Michigan State, who stood with a record of 7-1. The Spartans battled the Huskers till the very end, but Nebraska built a strong enough lead to pull away with an 80-74 win.

Though Michigan State finished with more shots, the Huskers finished with more baskets, including from three-point range. Nebraska went 29-of-61 in total shooting and 10-of-23 from beyond the arc. The Spartans only went 27-of-67 in total shots and landed just 4-of-27 in three-point shooting.

The Huskers saw four players finish with double-digit points. Alexis Markowski led Nebraska with her sixth double-double of the season, dropping 13 points and a season-high 17 rebounds. Freshman Jessica Petrie finished behind Markowski with 11 points for her second-straight double-digit game. Petrie scored 11 points after going five-of-seven in shooting.

Jaz Shelley also delivered 11 points in the win, accompanied by nine assists and seven rebounds, nearly earning herself another triple-double. Freshman Natalie Potts rounded out the front four for Nebraska, finishing with 10 points.

Foul trouble played a key role in the Huskers’ downfall, drawing 21 in total, leading to 18 free throws made by Minnesota. The rest of the stats between Nebraska and the Golden Gophers nearly mirrored one another.

The Huskers went 24-of-53 in field goal shooting, while Minnesota went 25-of-53. Nebraska landed five of its 18 total 3-pointers attempted, while the Golden Gophers landed eight-of-25. Both teams tied in total rebounds, with each side hauling in 32 on the night.

The Huskers played host to UNC-Wilmington on Tuesday night, their last game before entering Big Ten play on Saturday. In its win over the Seahawks, Nebraska made a statement, exiting the arena with a massive 108-35 victory.

This is the Huskers’ largest victory margin over a Division I team in the school history with a 108-35 women’s basketball win. It was not the only historic event of the night. Nebraska scored 62 points in the first half, tying the school record for most points in a first half while holding UNC-Wilmington to 12 first-half points, the second-fewest points by an opponent in a first half in program history.

Seven players scored double-digits in the win for Nebraska, with the top three scorers combining for 55 points. Jaz Shelley led the way, scoring 19 points on her way to a historical triple-double. Shelley also hauled in 10 rebounds and earned 11 assists to accompany her points, becoming the first Husker in history to record a pair of triple-doubles in her career.

Alexis Markowski and freshman Logan Nissley tied for second in scoring for the Huskers, each tallying up 18 points. Markowski also secured 12 rebounds to snatch her fifth double-double of the season.

Last year, Nebraska upset the Bluejays in Omaha and looked to do it again this year in Lincoln. This did not come to pass as Creighton delivered a hard 89-60 loss to the Huskers.

Though Nebraska battled it out with the Bluejays for a majority of the first half, missed opportunities began piling up, leading to Creighton eventually pulling away. The Huskers went just 24-of-71 in field goal shooting and a season-low 2-of-22 from 3-point range. The Bluejays, on the other hand, blew by Nebraska in shooting, going 32-of-69 from the field and 14-of-40 from beyond the arc.

Keisei Tominaga finished as Nebraska’s only double-digit scorer in the loss, dropping 20 points. This is Tominaga’s second 20-plus point game of the season and fourth double-digit scoring game.
