The Big Ten is back on NBC, here is the schedule

The Big Ten is back on NBC in 2023

It was announced earlier this year that the Big Ten will be back on NBC for a special Saturday Big Ten matchup.

Action Network’s Brett McMurphy recently Tweeted out the schedule, and Wisconsin is on it in full force. McMurphy added that this schedule comes with the caveat that some of these games may be flexed to different networks.

The Badgers’ first matchup on NBC in 2023 will take place against the Iowa Hawkeyes on Oct. 14 in Madison. The NBC schedule begins on Sept. 23 when Maryland travels to Michigan State for a 2:30 p.m. CT kickoff.

The NBC Big Ten schedule is packed with entertaining matchups. Here is a look at the 2023 schedule according to a report from Action Network’s Brett McMurphy:

The Seattle Seahawks posted a better record than the Philadelphia Eagles during the 2019 regular season, but the Seahawks will travel to Philly for the clash between the two teams on Wild Card weekend. Thanks to these two teams finishing the regular season in the opposite fashion, the Eagles earned their division title and the right to host this game. How long will they be able to ride this wave of momentum?

Seattle lost three of its final four games to fall out of first place in the NFC West, with all three of those losses coming to division opponents. The Seahawks regular-season finale saw the team lose a tight 26-21 game to the San Francisco 49ers with the division title on the line. Seattle fell behind 13-0 but stormed back to be within one score of the victory. The Seahawks final drive ended in a turnover on downs inside the one-yard line, with mere inches the difference between their hosting a first round game and having to go to Philadelphia. To win this game, the Seahawks will need Russell Wilson to play like the MVP candidate he has been all season, with his 31 touchdowns and five interceptions both being top-three marks in the NFL this year.

The Eagles, meanwhile, won each of their final four games of the season against division opponents to claim the NFC East championship. Their win over the Dallas Cowboys in Week 16 all but clinched them the division, with their victory over the New York Giants in Week 17 sealing the deal. Despite numerous injuries to offensive skill position players, the Eagles have found a way to get back into the playoffs, thanks to unheralded players such as backup running back Boston Scott stepping up on a regular basis. Scott’s 138 total yards and three rushing touchdowns in the team’s last game against the Giants helped seal the division title.
