Michigan State basketball will reportedly return to Madison Square Garden this upcoming season.

College basketball insider Jon Rothstein is reporting that Michigan State’s road Big Ten game at Rutgers on January 25 will be moved to Madison Square Garden in New York, N.Y. The official Big Ten conference schedule was released earlier this week and as of right now Michigan State is still playing at Rutgers in this matchup.

Michigan State and Rutgers last played each other at Madison Square Garden in 2023. The Scarlet Knights came out on top in that matchup.
