Michigan State basketball picked up another big home conference win over Maryland on Saturday to complete a perfect 2-0 week on the hardwood.

The Spartans used a late run to pull away from the Terps and earn the 63-54 victory. With the win, Michigan State improved to 14-8 overall and 6-5 in Big Ten play. This marks the first time all season that the Spartans are above .500 in conference play.

The Spartans used a 19-0 run in the second half to cruise to a convincing victory over Rutgers, 73-55, on Sunday afternoon. The win for Michigan State snaps a two-game losing streak.

With the win, Michigan State improves to 10-7 overall and 2-4 in Big Ten play this year. The Spartans will host Minnesota on Thursday as their next matchup.

Michigan State basketball picked up a dominant win over Penn State on Thursday to earn their first conference win of the season.

The Spartans never trailed in the matchup, eventually winning by the score of 92-61. Michigan State got massive performances from numerous players including Malik Hall who had a career-high 24 points.

With the win, Michigan State improves to 9-5 overall and 1-2 in Big Ten play. The Spartans will take the court next on Sunday against Northwestern.
