One of Michigan State football’s top offensive linemen is reportedly battling an upper body injury.
Nick Samac confirmed on Wednesday that he experienced an upper body injury before fall camp and that it has resulted in him missing some time this preseason. However, he said he expects to be ready for the season-opener against Central Michigan in just over two weeks.
Samac has started 38 career games while at Michigan State, including 22 at center. He started all 12 games at center for the Spartans last season and is expected to be one of Michigan State’s most dependable offensive linemen this upcoming season.
