Panasiuk, who finished his career with 95 total tackles and five sacks across 39 career games, wasn’t expected to get picked in the three-day draft, but was one of the top players in the undrafted market. It didn’t take long for him to find a new home in Las Vegas. The formerly Oakland and now Las Vegas Raiders will kick off their first season in the desert this fall.
From here Panasiuk will join the team during any offseason activities. Typically this would include rookie camp where undrafted rookies attempt to earn an invite to the team’s main training camp, but with the COVID-19 pandemic ongoing, offseason programs are up in the air.
Only two Spartans were drafted this year with Josiah Scott getting selected in the 4th round by Jacksonville and Kenny Willekes going in the 7th round to Minnesota.
