Mike Evans takes a walk down memory lane

Check out some cool sports memorabilia Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans showed off on Instagram.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans had himself another Pro Bowl season. Despite playing in just 13 games because of a hamstring injury, Evans finished the year with 67 receptions for 1,157 yards and eight touchdowns. He became only the second wide receiver in NFL history, along with Hall of Famer Randy Moss, to start his career with six-straight 1,000-yard seasons.

Evans is already the franchise’s all-time leader in receiving yards with 7,260, and at just 26, his best years may still be ahead of him, which is a scary thought for the rest of the NFL.

It seems sports has always been a part of Evans’ life, which explains why he’s so eager to get his son into the family business.

Evans recently took a walk down a memory lane, showing off some of his old sports memorabilia, including a letter from the Heisman Trophy Trust, on Instagram.

Here are a few screenshots from his IG story.

Mike Evans is already getting his baby boy into the family business

See what Mike Evans had to say on his Instagram story about his new baby boy.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans had another Pro Bowl season in 2019. Despite missing the last three games of the regular season because of a hamstring injury, Evans still finished with 67 receptions for 1,157 yards and eight touchdowns.

But, Evans had more to celebrate at the end of the season than just another trip to the Pro Bowl. He and his wife Ashli welcomed a new baby boy into the family at the end of December, Amari Thomas Evans.

Evans took to his Instagram story yesterday to post this picture of him with his son. And, it’s clear he’s already getting Amari interested in the family business.

This Mike Evans Instagram picture is worth a thousand words

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans recently posted this great picture from Week 9’s game against the Seattle Seahawks.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans made history this season, becoming just the second receiver ever to start his career with six-straight 1,000-yard seasons. The other is Hall of Famer Randy Moss (not bad company to be in). Unfortunately, Evans’ season was cut short after he came up limping with a hamstring injury following a 61-yard touchdown catch in Week 14’s win over the Indianapolis Colts.

Still, Evans proved once again why he should be considered one of, if not the best wide receiver in the game today. He had a memorable year with several highlight-worthy plays, including his monster performance back in Week 9 against the Seattle Seahawks. Evans finished that game with 12 receptions for 180 yards and a touchdown. Those 12 receptions were a career high for the former Texas A&M star.

Evans posted a picture from that game on his Instagram the other day, reminding everyone he’s a Texan, born and raised. And, the picture itself is worth a thousand words.

Take a look.

Pete Carroll’s expression is priceless. He’s got the look every coach probably has the minute Evans breaks free from a defender. The Bucs receiver, meanwhile, looks as cool as the other side of the pillow. If he can stay healthy next season, he could make it seven-straight 1,000-yard seasons, which would break his tie with Moss. Talk about motivation.

As a little refresher, here is a highlight video from Evans’ big game against Seattle.
