It’s a quiet day at home for Mike Evans

Bucs WR Mike Evans enjoyed a little quiet time at home today with his daughter, while also getting in a little gaming.

Life is good if you are Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans. Not only are you already the franchise’s all-time leader in receiving yards at just 26, but you have a Hall of Fame quarterback leading your offense now in Tom Brady.

With Brady throwing him deep balls in 2020, Evans has a shot at becoming the first receiver in NFL history to begin his career with seven-straight 1,000-yard receiving seasons. He currently holds the record at six along with Hall of Famer Randy Moss.

While Evans still has another month before training camp begins, he seems to be enjoying some quiet time at home today, evident by his Instagram story showing him hanging out with his daughter and doing a little gaming at his computer.

Mike Evans combines the best of both worlds with his dual screen setup

Take a look at how Bucs WR Mike Evans spent his Saturday evening at home.

For Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans, there is no offseason. The Pro Bowler, who this past season became the only player other than Randy Moss to start their career with six-straight 1,000-yard seasons, is already hard at work prepping for the 2020 NFL season.

Evans is already the franchise leader in receiving yards (7,260) and is just now entering his prime. While we’ll have to wait until next season to see if Evans can make it seven-straight 1,000-yard seasons, we can take comfort in the fact that the future Hall of Famer (yeah, I said it) is enjoying some rest and relaxation this offseason.

Evans took to Instagram to show off his sweet dual screen setup, which allowed him to enjoy a little NBA action last night while getting in some much-needed Fortnite practice.

Mike Evans has his Bucs ‘squad’ ready for Fortnite

See what Tampa Bay Buccaneers star wide receiver Mike Evans recently posted to his Instagram story.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans made history in 2019, becoming just the second player in NFL history, after Hall of Famer Randy Moss, to begin his career with six-straight 1,000-yard receiving seasons.

Evans finished last year with 67 receptions for 1,157 yards and eight touchdowns in just 13 games before being sidelined by a hamstring injury suffered in Week 14’s win over the Indianapolis Colts.

But, Evans isn’t just a pro gamer on the football field, he’s also one off of it, too… sort of. Evans is a big-time Fortnite player, even competing recently in a tournament, looking to win money for a charity of his choosing.

Today, Evans took to his Instagram story to post a picture from Fortnite with his “squad” of Bucs players on screen, including quarterback Jameis Winston (@jaboowins3), wide receiver Chris Godwin (@chrisgodwin) and wide receiver Justin Watson (@jwat).

Take a look.

I honestly love seeing teammates goofing around and being buddies off the field. It makes them seem more real and makes you believe in the chemistry of the team. Can you imagine Antonio Brown ever posting something like this when he was with the Pittsburgh Steelers, especially if Ben Roethlisberger was coming off a 30-interception season?

I think not.
