Michigan State wrapped up their 2022 recruiting class a week ago on early national signing day. A part of that recruiting class was Arizona native tight end Michael Masunas. Masunas is a strong candidate to get early playing time and he is showing why, with how strong he truly is.

Masunas took to Twitter to show off a video of him featuring a massive feat of strength, pulling a hummer and two pickup trucks with no help but his strength.

Arizona native Michael Masunas has signed his NLI

The second tight end in the 2022 recruiting class, Michael Masunas has made his decision to attend Michigan State official by signing his national letter of intent.

Masunas is a member of Arizona high school powerhouse Hamilton High School, and has been playing some of the top competition on the west coast. The Spartans beat out Arizona, Florida State, Maryland and Tennessee for his commitment.

Analysis: Masunas is an offensive tackle converted into a tight end, which brings a solid foundation of skills to build upon. A willing blocker, Masunas had a huge senior season as a receiver boosting what seems like his ceiling could be. Physical development will be key in Masunas’s development at MSU.

Michigan State football gains commitment from TE Michael Masunas

Michigan State has landed its eighth commitment of the 2022 recruiting class in the form of tight end Michael Masunas.

Michigan State has landed the eighth commitment of its 2022 recruiting class in the form of tight end Michael Masunas. The Chandler, Arizona native will be the Spartans second commit from the Grand Canyon state.

Masunas is a 6-foot-5, 235-pound standout tight end at Arizona football powerhouse Hamilton High School. Masunas does not have a 247Sports composite ranking yet, but is rated as a 3-star by the Rivals and 247Sports networks independently.

Michigan State beat out the likes of Arizona, Maryland, Tennessee, and Utah for the commitment of Masunas.

Masunas brings a unique skill set to the Spartans, having experience as an inline blocker. Now, showing off his athletic ability as a pass-catcher on the camp scene, Masunas will bring a combination of blocking experience and athleticism to MSU’s TE room that will serve as a great foundation for the coaching staff to build off of.

A 2022 tight end prospect Michigan State is targeting is set to announce his commitment on Saturday afternoon.

Three-star tight end Michael Masunas of Chandler, Ariz. announced on Friday that he will reveal his commitment on Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m. EDT. Masunas is listed as the No. 77 tight end in the 2022 class by 247Sports.

Masunas recently took an official visit to Michigan State and is currently projected to end up in East Lansing, according to 247Sports crystal ball predictions. Masunas also holds offers from Utah, Arizona, Florida State, Maryland, Tennessee, Air Force, Army, San Diego State, New Mexico and UNLV.

Spartan fans should keep an eye out tomorrow as Masunas could be the third commit Michigan State has picked up in the last week.

Spartans offer 2022 3-star, 6-foot-4 TE Michael Masunas

Michigan State is looking to add another prospect from the state of Arizona to their 2022 class.

Michigan State is looking to add another prospect from the state of Arizona to their 2022 class — this time 6-foot-4 three-star tight end Michael Masunas.

Masunas received a scholarship offer from the Spartans on Tuesday evening. Masunas is ranked as the No. 73 tight end in the country by 247Sports.

Masunas is from Chandler, Ariz. and plays for Hamilton High.

According to 247Sports, Masunas now holds scholarship offers from Michigan State, Air Force, Arizona, Army, Florida State, Maryland, New Mexico, New Mexico, Northern Arizona, Penn, San Diego State and UNLV.
