Jesús Aguilar hilariously got caught stealing signs against the Diamondbacks

Swiper no swiping.

Marlin’s first baseman Jesús Aguilar is really doing his best to become Major League Baseball’s master thief. And, honestly, it’s quite hilarious.

Last month he got caught on camera swiping a card of some sort from out of card out of Dom Smith’s back pocket. It was such an incredibly smooth move. He just slyly slid over and swiped it.

On Thursday, he got caught again. Not just by the camera this time, though.

He lifted up the armband of Diamondbacks catcher Carson Kelly while he was on base to get a quick look at some of their signals. It was absolutely comical.

Kelly was a bit annoyed but it’s Aguilar’s face after he’s caught that just drives home the laugh.

This is absolutely hilarious. It’s all in good fun, too. He’s not actually stealing signs — he’s just messing with Kelly.

This face, y’all.

Just classic. The internet remembered his swipe on Smith, too.

This is just incredible. What a run by Aguilar. Watch out, baseball. We’ve got a real master thief on our hands.

Jesus Aguilar swiped a mysterious object out of Dom Smith’s back pocket at first base

Jesus Aguilar really pickpocketed Dom Smith.

Yes, you read that correctly. This is a thing that happened. No idea why it happened, but it definitely looks like it happened.

Marlins first baseman Jesus Aguilar looked like he slyly swiped something out of Dom Smith’s back pocket on Thursday when the Marlins were matched up with the Mets.

It looked like he took some sort of card from out of Smith’s back pocket. We have no idea what is on the card or what it’s even there for. All we know is that it appears that, uh, well, it’s Aguilar’s now.

This is absolutely hilarious. Look at how smoothly he comes by and pulls the card out.

Smith doesn’t even notice! Aguilar could be the next Bond or something with smooth moves like that.

People had so many jokes including puns about…getting caught stealing.

Hopefully, it’s not anything important like a scouting report or anything. Though, I’m very uncertain of why anyone would carry a scouting report around on the field, anyway.

Hopefully, someone asks Aguilar about the incident and we get some sort of clarity.

Bien hecho Kim Ng, y bien hecho Marlins.

LOOK: Miami Marlins give Alabama football a funny shout out

The Miami Marlins took to twitter to celebrate having the best winning percentage in baseball, and they had a funny way of including Alabama

There’s no denying that Alabama is the best of the best in college football, and has been since Nick Saban’s arrival in Tuscaloosa.

When Alabama had their back to back national championship seasons in 2011 and 2012, the phrase “We Want Bama,” became a phrase other college football teams used to basically say, “We want to play Bama to prove we are better than them.”

Ironically though, that rarely happened.

Just ask Auburn, Notre Dame, and LSU.. just to name a few.

But after awhile, other sports team used the phrase, even in the NFL, NHL, and the MLB.

The Miami Marlins took to twitter to celebrate now having the best winning percentage in baseball, and they had a funny way of including Alabama.

Two things make even better.

Former Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa now plays for the Miami Dolphins. If the Dolphins create the momentum this season, don’t be surprised if you see a similar sign in the stands.

And secondly, the Marlins have former Alabama pitcher Wade LeBlanc who had his third start on Thursday night.

All in all, this is a phrase I hope never gets old and goes away.

It’s funny, witty, and brings back so many memories.

Memories of Alabama winning back to back national titles, and becoming the best college football team in the nation.

And let’s be honest, everyone still wants Bama.

Prediction

Phillies 4, Marlins 3

Moneyline (ML)

The MARLINS (+165) come into this game as underdogs, but stand a decent chance of pulling this one out with Alcantara on the mound. He thrived down the stretch in 2019, with a 2.78 ERA across his final 11 starts. A price of -189 on the Phillies is a little steep, even in their home park.

New to sports betting? A $10 bet on the Marlins to win the game will turn a profit of $16.50 if they prevail.

Run line/Against the spread (ATS)

It’s probably best to AVOID this one altogether. The Marlins are a good bet to keep this one close, but taking the Moneyline, rather than +1.5 (-134), is probably the way to go. Meanwhile, the Phillies check in at -1.5 (+110), but look elsewhere for value.

Over/Under (O/U)

The UNDER 9 (-110) is the side to take here. This is a matchup of two strong pitchers, and one pretty weak offense in Miami. Both starters have fared well in the past against the team they’ll be facing today, and should continue that trend. Look for this game to be a rather low-scoring affair.
