2024 RHP Marc Barhard has committed to Texas A&M baseball

Texas A&M has picked up a powerful arm in the 2024 cycle, as right handed pitcher Marc Bernhard has committed to the Maroon and White

Texas A&M baseball has continued its recruiting hot streak in the 2024 cycle after adding RHP Drew Rerick, the No.1-ranked player in North Dakota, early last week, and leading into the weekend, another power arm in the class announced his commitment to the Maroon and White on Saturday afternoon.

2024 RHP Marc Barnhard, who stands at 6-2 and 185 pounds, hails from Grand Oaks High School in Spring, Texas, and will join his high school teammate and fellow RHP Houston Tomlinson in the Aggies 2024 recruiting class while possessing a 90 to 92 mph fastball, according to Five Tools.

Barnhard, who has continued to work with Driveline Baseball, an online baseball training facility, the rising star, has continued to make strides in his game, specifically increasing his strength and mobility on the mound while working towards his lofty goal of hitting 95 mph velocity on his fastball when it’s all said and done.

Aside from Rerick and Tomlinson, Barhard joins a loaded class, including Flower Mound (Texas) outfielder Caden Sorrell, Villa Park (California) outfielder Gavin Grahovic, and Montgomery County (Texas) Lake Creek RHP Weston Moss, who all withdrew their names from the 2023 MLB Draft earlier this month to join Coach Jim Schlossnagle for the 2024 campaign.

Congratulations on your commitment, Marc! Gig ’em!
