Where did Nick Dorka of Love Is Blind Season 7 play football? Here’s the answer.

The Washington, D.C. contestant has a background in football.

The newest season of the popular reality dating series Love Is Blind dropped on Netflix on October 2, introducing viewers to a new crop of singles hoping to find their spouse.

On the show, singles talk through a wall, never seeing each other as they hopefully connect, fall in love and get engaged. One of the participants for this season — which is set with singles from Washington, D.C. for the first time — is 29-year-old Nick Dorka.

Dorka, a real estate agent, mentioned to several dates that he was an All-American college football player as a kicker and punter. So where did Dorka play?

The Vienna, Virginia native was enrolled at William & Mary from 2013-16, playing two-and-a-half seasons before injury cut his senior season short. In 2015, Dorka was voted as a second team All-American by the Associated Press. His longest career made field goal was from 43 yards against Elon in 2016, and his longest punt hit 68 yards.

Travis Kelce hilariously imitated Chelsea from Love is Blind on the latest New Heights

This is too funny.

If you’re a fan of Love Is Blind, or just enjoy the antics of one Travis Kelce, or both, you will love this.

On the most recent edition of the New Heights podcast, Travis and his brother Jason Kelce talked about shows they’re watching, and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end immediately said Love is Blind, tried to convince Jason to watch and then dropped an imitation of Chelsea from this past season.

Now: I have not watched this season. But there’s a video below that shows that Travis’s imitation is pretty good. And what’s more is Chelsea has seen it and has now posted about it, asking (jokingly) if he and Taylor Swift can stop watching.

Seahawks coach Pete Carroll drops first draft clues of the year

It’s that time of year again when Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll shares  “clues” about what his team has planned for the NFL draft.

It’s that time of year again when Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll shares  “clues” about what his team has planned for the NFL draft.

Carroll dropped his first hint of the year on Twitter a short time ago, sharing a Netflix promo for the new season of Love is Blind on Netflix, which is set in Seattle.

We’ve got nothing.

Update:

Carroll has shared his second “clue” for the 2023 NFL draft. This time it’s the theme song for the Seattle Kraken.

Update:

Carroll’s third clue is just a photo of actor Carl Weathers.

No notes.

Update:

Carroll’s fourth clue is a clip of Las Vegas Aces star Kelsey Plum’s gorgeous t-shirt toss into the stands.

This might be suggestive of a QB pick, but Plum is married to Raiders tight end Darren Waller, so maybe it’s about a tight end.

Update:

Carroll’s fifth clue is a GIF of Jennifer Coolidge’s character from The White Lotus talking about layers of an onion. Pete also promises a special guest for his final draft clue.

If you have even a theory, you’re way ahead of us at this point.

Update:

Here’s Carroll’s last draft clue of 2023, featuring the Seattle Kraken mascot.

Enjoy the draft!

Love Is Blind fans were outraged as Netflix’s reunion livestream malfunctioned

Love Is Blind fans went all in on Netflix for this long delay.

Netflix got into quite a bit of hot water on Sunday after the highly-anticipated Love Is Blind reunion livestream malfunctioned at the absolute worst possible time.

As Love Is Blind fans were settling in for the night ahead of the 8 p.m. ET sharp start time, Netflix’s servers said otherwise. When clicking onto the episode, a live reunion special after the shocking events of season four, fans were greeted with an error message as the stream failed to load.

This isn’t the first time Netflix has dabbled in the streaming space, as back in March, the platform successfully livestreamed Chris Rock’s stand-up special. Unfortunately for Netflix, their second go-around with livestreaming didn’t go nearly as planned, as the wait for the Love Is Blind reunion lasted over an hour. Netflix then announced the episode would be filmed then released to the public as soon as possible.

Technological snafus happen to us all, but for Netflix to fumble the bag like this on such a highly-anticipated event is something else. Love Is Blind fans did not hold back in their jokes and criticisms of Netflix after the lengthy delay to the live reunion special.

Love is Blind fans were stunned this couple said ‘I do’ in the season 4 finale

We did NOT see this coming.

Love is Blind’s fourth season wrapped up on Netflix Friday as the remaining four couples walked to the altar to make the ultimate decision. Three couples ended up saying yes — only Paul and Micah left ring-less — but one couple in particular shocked everyone.

Chelsea said “I do” in last week’s cliffhanger, leading many to believe that her fiancé Kwame might hesitate and call things off. The couple didn’t seem destined to make it as she seemed significantly more invested in the relationship, to put it kindly. Kwame’s disinterest in Chelsea and their future seemed evident over the last couple of weeks, so it stood to reason that he was probably going to take the chance at the altar to back out.

Instead, Kwame said yes and the couple is officially husband and wife. Fans of the show were shocked, to say the least.

Love is Blind Season 4 weddings: Which couples said ‘I do’?

Before watching the last batch of episodes, see if we got any of this right!

Season 4 of Love is Blind, Netflix’s hit reality dating show/social experiment where hot people speed-date other hot people with the goal of rushing into marriage with a person they’re not allowed to see until after they propose, is a wrap. Four couples ended up at the altar tasked with choosing to say “I do” or have their hearts broken in front of their friends and family and millions of viewers.

Over the show’s first three seasons, six out of 17 couples ended up getting married, though only four of those couples are still together. We predicted which Season 4 couples would make the ultimate commitment and which would crash and burn. Let’s see how our guesses matched up with the results.

Note: Since Jackie turned out to be just awful and blew off her wedding dress try-on for drinks with equally awful Josh instead of letting her relationship with Marshall thrive, they aren’t included.
