MSU officially locks in their 2025 signal caller

The most important position on the field, Michigan State locked in Leo Hannan very early in the process and the Spartans have held on to the recruit throughout the whole process.

Attending Servite High School, being from Anaheim, California, Hannan was the quarterback that the Michigan State staff locked into from the minute they got to East Lansing, and the two sides stayed a perfect match throughout the process.

Hannan inked his national letter of intent to officially lock in with the Spartans.

MSU’s 2025 QB commit is currently out with an injury

Michigan State football landed their plan A guy Leo Hannan as their quarterback for the 2025 recruiting class. Hannan, a high 3-star prospect, is playing quarterback at Servite High School in Anaheim, California.

Before Servite’s week four game, it was announced that Hannan had suffered an injury to his leg and missed the week four game for the Friars.

The extent of the injury is not yet known, but all indications show that it is not something serious and the future Spartans signal caller will be back in action at some point this fall for the Friars.

Michigan State football opened Jonathan Smith’s 2025 recruiting class getting one of the best signal callers on the west coast to commit to MSU.

Leo Hannan of Servite High School in California will be the first quarterback recruit Smith and co. bring to East Lansing, and on Friday, he started his high school football season.

Greg Biggins of 247Sports listed Michigan State quarterback commit Leo Hannan as one of his top performers at the Las Vegas regional Elite 11 event this weekend. Hannan is a three-star prospect in the 2025 class, but could see his stock rising after this strong showing.

Here’s a bit of what Biggins had to say about Hannan after the event:

“He threw with really nice touch, especially on some of the deeper throws and has a nice all around feel for the position.”

Hannan ranks as the No. 22 quarterback in 247Sports’ rankings for the 2025 class. He committed to Michigan State last month over offers from Arizona, Arkansas, BYU, Colorado, Illinois, Minnesota, Pitt, Virginia and Washington.

Michigan State has started their 2025 recruiting class, and they have done it with a bang, landing a commitment from their quarterback of the recruiting class. Leo Hannan has made the decision to commit to the Spartans.

Hannan is a 6-foot-3 gun slinger hailing from Anaheim, California, attending Servite High School.

A highly rated 3-star, the Spartans beat the likes of Arizona, Arkansas, BYU, Colorado, Illinois, Minnesota, Oregon State, Pitt, Virginia and Washington for the commitment.

The Spartans’ “top quarterback target” will be taking an official visit to Michigan State in June.

Corey Robinson of 247Sports is reporting that three-star quarterback Leo Hannan will take an official visit to Michigan State on June 7. Hannan hails from Anaheim, Calif. and is considered one of the top 25 quarterbacks nationally by 247Sports.

Hannan ranks as the No. 22 quarterback in 247Sports’ rankings for the 2025 class. He holds a scholarship offer from the Spartans and other notable programs, such as Arizona, Arkansas, BYU, Colorado, Illinois, Minnesota, Oregon State, Virginia and Washington.

Michigan State is currently crystal ball projected to land a commitment from Hannan. A trio of crystal ball projections were entered fro Hannan in Michigan State’s favor on Sunday.

Michigan State football has extended a scholarship offer to a quarterback prospect from California

Michigan State football has extended a scholarship offer to a quarterback prospect from California.

Leo Hannan of Anaheim, Calif. announced on Thursday that he’s received a scholarship offer from the Spartans. Hannan is listed as a three-star prospect on 247Sports.

Hannan ranks as the No. 18 quarterback in 247Sports’ rankings for the 2025 class. He’s also listed as the No. 565 overall prospect in 247Sports’ composite rankings.

Michigan State is one of more than 10 programs to extend an offer to Hannan. Other notable programs to offer Hannan includes Arizona, BYU, Colorado, Illinois, Minnesota, Oregon State, Pitt and Washington.
