Jordan Walsh, the 38th pick in the 2023 NBA draft, has shown promise in the NBA’s Las Vegas Summer League games so far. He has impressed the Boston Celtics with his unexpectedly advanced offensive skills and playmaking abilities. Walsh has displayed a solid offensive game, making 3-pointers and showing potential in driving and playmaking.

His shooting form needs improvement, particularly in establishing a consistent base, but this can be fixed, and defensively he has shown effort and an ability to position himself well, although he struggles with screens.

However, it’s still too early to determine if he has earned a spot in the regular-season rotation.

To hear a deeper assessment of whether Walsh can make an impact with the Celtics this season, take a look at the clip embedded below to hear what the hosts of the CLNS Media “First to the Floor” think.

Boston Celtics full highlights for 95-90 win over the Los Angeles Lakers in Las Vegas Summer League

The comeback win was a surprising one given that the Lakers were in control for the first two-thirds of the tilt.

Whenever the Boston Celtics end up playing the Los Angeles Lakers, you can bet the level of play will be high — even if it is a relatively meaningless exhibition contest in the NBA’s 2023 Las Vegas Summer League. That was the case late Wednesday night when the Celtics dispatched the Lakers, 95-90, thanks in part to a dramatic late dunk from the No. 38 pick of the 2023 NBA draft, Jordan Walsh.

The comeback win was surprising given the Lakers were in control for the first two-thirds of the contest. The Celtics shot 25.8% from deep and 41.2% overall. But L.A. shot worse from the field (38.7%), and Boston won the rebounding battle, 52-39, securing the win on a Walsh flush in the game’s waning seconds.
