Wisconsin receives two 247Sports crystal ball predictions for a four-star 2022 DT

The Wisconsin football program is still waiting on its second commitment in the class of 2022. The wait may not last much longer.

The Wisconsin football program is still waiting to collect its second commitment for the class of 2022. Only quarterback Myles Burkett is in the class.

That may be changing. Over the past week, the Badgers received two 247Sports crystal ball predictions to land four-star defensive tackle K.J. Miles.

Miles is 247Sports’ No. 349 player in the class of 2022, No. 30 defensive tackle and the No. 4 recruit from his home state of New Jersey.

While Georgia Tech, Texas, Georgia, Penn State, USC and Virginia are thought to be contenders for Miles, both Wisconsin insider Evan Flood and Notre Dame insider Tom Loy see the defensive tackle choosing the Wisconsin Badgers.

Continuing Mel Tucker’s theme of offering some of the top prospects around the country, on Wednesday it was announced that Michigan State Football has offered 2022 4-star pass rusher KJ Miles (Keith Miles Jr.) a scholarship.

Miles, who can play multiple positions on the defensive line, as well as some offensive tackle, is the No. 9 ranked weak side defensive end in the 2022 class according to the 247Sports rankings. They also have him ranked as the No. 4 player in the state of New Jersey for his class.

To the surprise of no one, Miles, who currently plays for St. Peters Prep, has offers out from the likes of Alabama, Michigan, Notre Dame, Penn State, Baylor, Tennessee, and many more, so this is another big swing from Tucker on the recruiting trail.
