Nebraska and Wisconsin’s week 13 matchup receives kickoff time

The Huskers will be looking to snap a ten-game losing streak to Wisconsin next weekend.

The Nebraska Cornhuskers’s senior day matchup against the Wisconsin Badgers will be a mid-afternoon kickoff.

On Monday, the Big Ten announced that the Huskers and Badgers will kick off their November 23 matchup at Memorial Stadium with a 2:30 p.m. CT kickoff. The game will also be televised on the Big Ten Network.

Before facing the Badgers next weekend, the Huskers will prepare for the USC Trojans this weekend in Los Angeles. The Huskers will look to snap a three-game losing streak while also being under the direction of new interim offensive coordinator Dana Holgorson.

At 5-4 and 2-4 in Big Ten play, the Huskers need one more win this season to snap an eight-season bowl drought.

Wisconsin, on the other hand, will face off against the No. 1 Oregon Ducks this weekend. Wisconsin enters the game losers of their last two games. The Badgers enter week 12 with a 5-4 record, including 3-3 in conference play.

The Cornhuskers and Badgers have met 17 times, with Wisconsin winning the last 10 games dating back to the 2012 season, including a 24-17 win in Madison last season. Each of the previous three games between the two programs has been settled by seven points or less.

Kickoff time announced for USC game

The Huskers will be looking for their first win against USC next weekend.

The game time for the Nebraska Football-USC Trojans game next weekend has been announced. The game will kick off at 3:00 p.m. CT.

The Huskers are looking to become bowl-eligible for the first time since 2016. They are coming off a 27-20 loss at the hands of the UCLA Bruins over the weekend. Now, they will be looking to be a USC team who’s had struggles of their own.

The Trojans lead the all-time series by a 4-0-1 margin. The last time these two teams met was in the Holiday Bowl in 2014. USC outlasted the Huskers by a 45-42 margin. The lone tie in the series came back in September 1970.

The program will have a week to prepare for a USC team that ranks fifth in the Big Ten in total offense with 437.8 yards per game. Their calling card is their passing game, as they average 291.2 yards through the air per game.

Nebraska will have their hands full as they look to pick up their first win in the series. This could also be an important game, as it relates to the trajectory of the rest of the season.

Kickoff time, TV channel announced for Wisconsin Badgers Week 12 game vs. No. 1 Oregon

Kickoff time, TV channel announced for Wisconsin Badgers Week 12 game vs Oregon

Yet another primetime game has been added to Wisconsin’s 2024 football schedule.

The Badgers’ upcoming Week 12 showdown against No. 1 Oregon will kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET, 6:30 p.m. CT and will be broadcast on NBC.

The Badgers are idle in Week 11, while Oregon hosts Maryland. The two will then meet on Nov. 16 on NBC’s ‘Big Ten Saturday Night.’

It will be Wisconsin’s third consecutive game in that television window. The contest follows the team’s 28-13 home loss to Penn State and 42-10 blowout loss to Iowa — two of the worst results of the season.

Wisconsin will enter the home matchup with Oregon at 5-4 on the season and 3-3 Big Ten play. Assuming the Ducks have no trouble with a struggling Maryland team, they should enter Camp Randall Stadium ranked No. 1 in the nation with a 10-0 record (7-0 Big Ten).

The Badgers could use a get-right matchup with a lower-ranked Big Ten team after their recent struggles. That is not what this matchup against Oregon represents. Instead, it’s yet another pivotal opportunity for Luke Fickell to notch a program-defining victory.

Wisconsin is 0-5 against ranked opponents during the Fickell era. Not many trends will favor the team entering the matchup other than the primetime atmosphere.

Nebraska-UCLA kickoff time set

The game will be the 14th meeting between the Huskers and the Bruins.

The Big Ten Conference has announced the kickoff time for Nebraska’s game against the UCLA Bruins on Nov. 2. The Huskers and the Bruins will kick off at 2:30 p.m. CT from Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, Nebraska, and the game will be carried on BTN.

The Huskers are 5-2 on the season and will face the Ohio State Buckeyes this weekend in Columbus. UCLA is 2-5 on the year and is on a bye week. The Bruins are coming off a 35-32 win over Rutgers last Saturday.

The game will be the 14th meeting between UCLA and Nebraska. The Huskers, with a record of 7-6, own the series lead over the Bruins. Nebraska won the last game between these two, a 37-29 victory in the 2015 Foster Farms Bowl.

Possible kickoff times announced for Wisconsin Badgers Week 10 game at Iowa

The kickoff time and broadcast information for Wisconsin’s Week 10 trip to Iowa remains to be determined.

The Big Ten announced most of its Week 10 schedule on Monday, highlighted by No. 4 Ohio State at No. 3 Penn State on Fox’s “Big Noon Saturday.”

Wisconsin’s game at Iowa is listed as noon ET, or 3:30 p.m. ET or 7:30 p.m. ET with the television network TBD. The specific time and broadcast location will be confirmed after the Badgers’ Week 9 game against Penn State.

The trip to Iowa is one of the most important games remaining on Wisconsin’s 2024 schedule. A win could become critical if the premier home matchups against Penn State and top-ranked Oregon turn to losses. Also, it’s another opportunity to avenge a tough loss from Luke Fickell’s first season.

Leave your calendar completely clear on Saturday, Nov. 2, because Wisconsin’s game at Iowa could still be in any time slot.

Stay tuned early next week as an official kickoff time is announced.

Kickoff time announced for Wisconsin vs Northwestern

Kickoff time announced for Wisconsin vs Northwestern:

Wisconsin sits tied atop a bunched-up Big Ten West with just four weeks remaining in the regular season.

The final stretch begins this Saturday with a trip to Bloomington, Indiana for a matchup against the 2-6 Indiana Hoosiers. A win on Saturday is crucial for the Badgers’ chances in the West, as the team can’t afford to drop another game with three West contests set to conclude the season.

The first of those final three division contests is everyone’s favorite matchup of the year: an afternoon contest against Northwestern.

That kickoff time was confirmed today: a 2:30 p.m. central kick on Fox Sports 1.

The Wildcats are a surprising 4-4 on the season and 2-3 in Big Ten play. All the numbers say the Badgers should have no trouble, but we know how these games usually go.

Notre Dame football: Kickoff time announced for Clemson game

Kickoff time is set!

When the 2023 college football season began it appeared that Notre Dame and Clemson’s date the first Saturday of November would be one of the biggest non-conference games on the entire season slate.

Fast forward to the end of October and things are significantly different.

It’s a big game for Notre Dame in that it may determine if the Irish ultimately earn an invitation to a New Year’s Six bowl game.

After losing to North Carolina State and falling to 4-4 however, it’s a game that could decide if Clemson even ends up being bowl eligible.  Clemson has Notre Dame, North Carolina, Georgia Tech, and South Carolina remaining this year.  The Tigers will have to go 2-2 in order to earn bowl eligibility which would have sounded absurd just two months ago.

As a result of Clemson’s struggles, this one-time almost surefire prime time contest will instead be a 12:00 p.m. ET kickoff next Saturday and air on ABC.

Notre Dame routed Pittsburgh 58-7 on Saturday while Clemson fell 24-17 at North Carolina State.

Wisconsin football: Kickoff time released for Badgers at Illinois Fighting Illini

Kickoff time released for Wisconsin Badgers at Illinois Fighting Illini:

Wisconsin faces a crucial test this Saturday as the 5-1 Iowa Hawkeyes travel to Madison for a contest that will likely decide the Big Ten West. The game will kick off at 3 p.m. central on FOX.

The Badgers won’t have much time for celebration if they do come out on top. Up next week is a revenge trip to Illinois, quickly followed by a season-defining contest at home against Ohio State.

Wisconsin recently announced the kickoff time for its game in Champaign, Illinois on October 21. The contest will start at 2:30 p.m. central with the television channel to-be-announced.

Wisconsin currently sits atop the Big Ten West with a 2-0 record in conference. Iowa follows at 2-1, and then the rest of the division is tied at 1-2 before Illinois’ bottom spot at 0-3.

Alabama football announces start times for remaining non-conference matchups

Alabama football has announced kick times for the remainder of the Crimson Tide’s non-conference opponents in 2023!

The 2023 season is a crucial one for Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide after missing out on the playoffs last season. The Tide will face one of the toughest schedules in the country with two new coordinators and a quarterback.

Alabama already announced that their non-conference game against Texas will be in primetime at 6:00 p.m. CST on ESPN. Today, the Tide announced the kickoff times for their three remaining non-SEC games.

Middle Tennessee comes to Bryant Denny Stadium for a 6:30 p.m. kick-off under the lights on Sept. 2. Then, the Tide travel to Southern Florida for a 2:30 p.m. start against the Bulls on Sept. 19. Finally, the Tide will host Chattanooga at 11 a.m. on Nov. 18, the week leading up to the Iron Bowl.

The Longhorns will without a doubt be the toughest test for the Tide of those four games, but it is imperative Alabama doesn’t drop any games outside of SEC play. Texas gave Alabama a scare in 2022, but with it back in Tuscaloosa now, the game will be really interesting.

Ravens vs. Jaguars kickoff delayed by severe weather

Kickoff between the Jaguars and Ravens is delayed due to severe weather.

[mm-video type=playlist id=01eqbx72kbdnfb4t57 player_id=none image=https://jaguarswire.usatoday.com/wp-content/plugins/mm-video/images/playlist-icon.png]

Kickoff for a Week 12 matchup between the Baltimore Ravens and Jacksonville Jaguars was delayed 25 minutes due to severe weather at TIAA Bank Field in Jacksonville, Fla.

Kickoff instead happened at 1:25 p.m. ET.

Weather forecasts projected there would be isolated thunderstorms in the early afternoon that would clear shortly after the game began. While there’s a slight delay to the start of the contest, most of the game should be played under partly cloudy conditions and temperatures in the 70s.

Heavy rain picked up just after noon in Jacksonville and fans were soon cleared from their seats with the team issuing a “Code Blue” for severe weather.

The weather alert was lifted with about 20 minutes until kickoff, but returned with about 10 minutes left until the originally scheduled game time.

Jacksonville has a 3-7 record and spent Week 11 on bye. The Ravens enter with a 7-3 record and are riding a four-game win streak.
