LSU makes the cut for No. 1 interior offensive lineman in 2024

Jordan Seaton has released his top 14, and the LSU Tigers made the cut.

The No. 1 interior offensive lineman for the class of 2024 has released his top 14 list, and the LSU Tigers made the cut.

[autotag]Jordan Seaton [/autotag]is a four-star, 6-foot-5, 295-pound interior offensive lineman that is ranked as the No. 1 IOL in the country and the No. 19 player overall according to Rivals.

He is from Washington, D.C., where he plays for St. John’s High School. The St. John’s Cadets finished the 2022 season as the champions of the WCAC – Capital bracket.

As of now, Ohio State is the frontrunner for Seaton according to 247Sports and On3 as he has received a Crystal Ball projection on 247Sports and the Buckeyes are an 84% favorite to land him per On3.

LSU currently has the No. 2 ranked class for 2024 with 9 overall commitments so far. One of those commits is an IOL, [autotag]Khayree Lee[/autotag], a three-star from Marrero, Louisiana.

We will see how the recruitment turns out, but [autotag]Brian Kelly[/autotag] will hope to pull him away from Ohio State.

Looking at LSU football’s commits so far in No. 1-ranked 2024 class

A running tracker of the Tigers’ 2024 commitments.

It’s never too early to look at recruits that are two years away, right? These kids are going into their junior year of high school this fall, but they already have big dreams and aspirations of playing in Death Valley and donning the purple and gold.

[autotag]Brian Kelly[/autotag] is getting out ahead of his competition and earning commitments from the best players in the class of 2024. So far, the Tigers have eight commits for this class — ranking No. 1 nationally, per On3 — and that list is growing by the day. So, let’s take a look at all of the athletes that have committed to playing for LSU in 2024.

Disclaimer: Even though these kids are currently committed to LSU until they put pen to paper and sign their names on the dotted line, they can change their minds and play elsewhere. This list will be updated as more players commit.

LSU lands commitment from 2024 offensive lineman

The Tigers picked up another 2024 commitment after the win over Alabama.

[autotag]Khayree Lee[/autotag] is a three-star, 6-foot-5, 330-pound offensive lineman from Marrero, Louisiana, where he plays for John Ehret High School. The Patriots are 5-5 overall this season and 5-0 in district play.

They have one more regular season game before the playoffs start. Lee becomes the sixth commit in the 2024 recruiting class and moves the Tigers up to the No. 4 class in the country. Not only has [autotag]Brian Kelly[/autotag] been doing a great job coaching this season, but he is also killing it on the recruiting trail as he has landed multiple good prospects from the 2023 and 2024 classes.

Early national signing day is approaching quickly as next month a lot of these guys will put pen to paper and sign with their desired school. If Kelly keeps recruiting at the pace he is now, the Tigers will likely end up with a top-five class in the country.

The Tigers’ 2023 class is No. 4 overall right now, and there are a couple more guys that LSU is going after.
