#Bills’ Josh Allen on Ken Dorsey: ‘I take that very personally’
Josh Allen gets it, but that doesn’t mean he’s proud of what happened.
The Bills (5-5) fired offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey following the team’s 24-22 loss to the Broncos on Monday. Now it’s interim OC and former quarterbacks coach Joe Brady helping the offense prep for their upcoming matchup against the Jets (4-5).
With the change having settled in, Allen said he does know some responsibility sits with him.
“We play better as a team, we don’t have to make a move like that,” Allen said. “I take that very personally.”
It’s a tough scenario for a guy like Allen and he’s probably not alone. Dorsey was liked in the Bills locker room, but it’s a business and these things happen.
The Bills have little time to sit and mope about it. The Jets won’t be doing that.
With preparations for that upcoming game already underway, head coach Sean McDermott said he sees his team reacting in the right way to the move.
“They’ve taken it in stride,” McDermott said via video conference. “Sad at what had to be, what had become of it, what became of it, but looking forward to a new beginning and looking forward to gain more production on a consistent basis.”
