Watch: South Carolina trolls Florida for leaving star WR wide open

The South Carolina social media team decided to rub in wide receiver Josh Vann’s wide open touchdown from their 40-17 win over Florida.

The South Carolina Gamecocks demolished the Florida Gators 40-17 on Nov. 6. Florida has made some changes to their defensive coaching staff following the surprising defeat.

The Gamecocks’ big win wasn’t enough for their social media team. South Carolina decided to rub in wide receiver Josh Vann’s wide open touchdown in the second quarter.

Josh Vann’s touchdown put South Carolina up 20-10. The Gamecocks did not look back from there and ended up with a 40-10 lead before Florida scored a fourth quarter touchdown.

South Carolina hilariously roasted Florida over the Josh Vann touchdown:

South Carolina wide receiver Josh Vann has been one of the Gamecocks’ top players this season. He’s the last player on the Gamecock offense who should be left wide open in the end zone.

The blowout win drops Dan Mullen and Florida to 2-8 in their last 10 games against Power Five opponents. The win is Shane Beamer and South Carolina’s best performance of the season.

Gamecocks roast Gators for terrible defensive coverage on Josh Vann’s TD with hilarious video

Josh Vann was as wide open as could be on this TD.

The South Carolina Gamecocks were not content with only beating up on the Florida Gators on the football field, it seems.

Two days after South Carolina bested Florida 40-17, the Gamecocks delivered the true final blow to the Gators in the form of a hilarious video roast. On Monday, the Gamecocks posted a video on Twitter making fun of the Gators for its… lackluster coverage of Josh Vann on his second quarter touchdown.

On said touchdown, Vann was as wide open as could be before catching a 24-yard strike to put South Carolina up 20-10. Vann was so wide open, in fact, that according to the Gamecocks, he had time to take a nap, study for classes, and… take up archery?

What an incredible roast. My personal favorites are Vann drawing up a play for his coach and also the fact that the code he gives to his food delivery driver is the final score of Saturday’s game, 40-17.

Bravo to South Carolina here for a really well-done roast. Have to tip your cap to them here for this one.
