Watch: Titans’ Malik Willis connects on deep ball with Josh Malone

Watch Titans QB Malik Willis connect with WR Josh Malone on a beautiful deep ball in practice.

Through his ups and downs in training camp, Tennessee Titans 2022 third-round pick and quarterback, Malik Willis, has been one of the hottest topics of conversation.

Willis has had an up-and-down camp, which is to be expected for a rookie signal-caller. There have no doubt been mistakes, but we’ve also seen him shine, both with his arms and legs.

Whether or not he can do enough to convince the Titans to carry two quarterbacks remains to be seen, but we don’t expect that to happen.

One of Willis’ better throws of training camp came at a recent practice, where the rookie dialed up an accurate deep ball and connected with wide receiver Josh Malone. Luckily, there’s a clip.

The next big step in Willis’ career will come Thursday night, when the Titans take on the Baltimore Ravens in the preseason opener. Willis is expected to make his debut, and every snap will be under the microscope.

Stock up, stock down for Titans after mandatory minicamp

A look at which Titans saw their stock rise or fall during mandatory minicamp.

The Tennessee Titans completed their three-day mandatory minicamp last week, which ran from June 14 through June 16. The first two practices were open to the media, giving us some insight into who shined and who didn’t.

Just in case you missed the events of those two days, you can check out our biggest takeaways from Day 1 and Day 2 here and here, respectively.

While mandatory minicamp is definitely important, the real evaluation period begins when the pads come on at training camp. Titans players will report on July 26, head coach Mike Vrabel revealed during the week.

There were some players who no doubt improved their stock ahead of training camp. Also, there was one very notable player who went in the opposite direction.

So, whose stock is on the rise and whose is on the decline? We take a look at that right now with our stock report following the team’s mandatory minicamp last week.

Packers sign WR Josh Malone to practice squad

The Packers signed WR Josh Malone to the practice squad. The 2017 fourth-round pick could have return value in Green Bay.

The Green Bay Packers added a wide receiver to the practice squad to replace Juwann Winfree, who was promoted to the active roster on Tuesday.

The team signed Josh Malone, a fourth-round pick of the Cincinnati Bengals in 2017 who has played for three NFL teams.
