Ohio State football offers 2026 Running Back

Ohio State offers 2026 Running Back #GoBucks

The recruiting hustle never stops and Ohio State football is looking to add some running back help in the class of 2026 in Jonaz Walton. Walton is rated as a four-star prospect by 247 Sports and hails from the state of Georgia. Widely considered a top ten running back in the class, he already checks many of the boxes needed to be a future college football star.

Walton stands at 5-feet 10-inches and 205 pounds with obvious room to grow considering he has two seasons of high school football remaining. Through his sophomore season, he has already accumulated over 3,300 rushing yards and 42 touchdowns.

We have seen Ohio State make some noise in the state of Georgia recently and it would not be surprising to see Ohio State add a future star in Walton.

Four-star RB Jonaz Walton receives Auburn offer

2026 RB Jonaz Walton has racked up 12 Power Five offers, including a recent one from Auburn.

Auburn football is building for the future by extending an offer to one of the top running backs of the 2026 class.

[autotag]Jonaz Walton[/autotag], a four-star back from Central High School in Carrollton, Georgia, received an offer from Auburn on Thursday. The offer is Walton’s 12th, and the fifth that he has received since May.

Walton has been high on Auburn’s radar recently, as Walton was one of four 2026 targets that visited the Plains for Auburn’s season opener with UMass. His recruitment is still in the beginning stages, but Georgia appears to be ahead of the pack early on. He tells On3’s Chad Simmons that he has built a relationship with running backs coach Dell McGee, and he is pleased with the attention that the Bulldogs have shown so far.

“I have visited Georgia multiple times for games and camps,” Walton said. “Them being the first school to offer meant a lot and it showed me how much interest they have in me. They have been connecting with me ever since they offered me.”

Walton is a four-star running back according to 247Sports. He is the No. 4 overall player from Georgia for the 2026 class and is the No. 2 overall running back for the cycle. He has also received offers from programs such as Georgia Tech, Clemson, USC, Tennessee, and Alabama.
