The Georgia Bulldogs have added a new commitment in long snapper Jonathan Washburn. Washburn will be a preferred walk-on at the University of Georgia.
The long snapper is the top rated snapper in the state in the class of 2021. Washburn has great grades and will get a chance to compete at UGA. Long snappers have helped Georgia have an excellent special teams for decades now. The Dawgs rarely have a bad kicker or long snapper on the roster.
Washburn is set to play in the 2021 Polynesian Bowl, which is a showcase game for some of the most talented players in high school football.
Jonathan Washburn announced his commitment to UGA via his Twitter account. Congratulations to the young man out of Heritage High School in Georgia.
